Who feels compelled to write a review for movers? Our experience was so exceptional, I've been recommending these guys for a few days now. Let's get the obvious out of the way... this company has a mission and vision that might make some people uncomfortable. Having former felons, substance-abusers and others in your home moving your personal belongings can seem intimidating. But let's be honest, moving companies often employ these same types of people, but without the accountability that this organization provides. They don't hide it. These guys are facing it head-on with honestly and integrity. That said, moving isn't a charity. It is a very personal and expensive task. We moved a family of six from 6-bedroom house, so you can imagine the size of the job. This team was UNREAL. They showed up early, their trucks were pristine and the entire team was sharp and ready to go. They NEVER took out a personal phone, and remained focused on work the entire time. I met the foreman (Spencer - request him, he's fantastic) and we walked through the entire house with the entire team. They asked insightful questions and were very thoughtful about the process. My wife and I were nervous because, while we had packed what felt like hundreds of boxes, there was SO much work left to do. The guys basically said "don't worry, we've got you and we'll get you through this!" and they got to work. These guys WORK. They took four loads between the two houses and worked from 7am to midnight. They were finished unloading the last truck at 11pm, but offered to help assemble furniture and shelving, saving me 10 hours trying to do it on my own. They were still running up and down the stairs at 9pm, it was incredible. I'm still unpacking boxes and settling in, but we haven't found a single broken item. These guys are pros. On a personal level, I tried chatting with each person throughout the day. They were helping me take apart some very fragile items, I was also working on things like getting our cable and internet equipment ready, so I was around them the entire time. They couldn't have been more professional, kind and personable. I 100% trusted the entire team the entire time. I can't rave enough about how amazing these guys were and how impressed I am with the entire organization. Don't let the mission of the company distract you from the fact that these guys are AMAZING movers and do a phenomenal job. read more

THE BEST moving company I have ever worked with, hands down! Their price was incredibly fair and affordable and the service from contact to delivery and job completion was above excellent. The fact that this company provides an environment for team members to succeed in life beyond this role I believe plays a significant part in how seriously their members take their job. Calling to get a quote and schedule our move was 100% hassle-free. My requests were heard and met. The team of 4 who arrived at our home the day of our move introduced themselves, made eye contact and shook our hands. The team lead made sure I understood their process and charges and walked our entire home to review our moving needs in full prior to having me sign our agreement and begin work. Throughout the loading and unloading process, each team member mentored others based on experience handling certain challenging objects to ensure nothing was damaged and that less experienced team members learned how to be successful. Not a single foul word was spoken and the team effectively, efficiently, and joyfully worked together to get the job done as quickly and safely as possible. Prior to heading out to our new home, our new address was verified and the old home was given a complete walk-through to be sure nothing was missed. This group of people was wholly respectful to my husband and me at every turn and were more ethical in their practices and communication than I have ever experienced in my high-level professional work. They double-checked belongings before moving them to be sure nothing contained items they are not permitted to move and made sure we were able to transport those items on our own. They also ensured I was present while wrapping and moving a large, heirloom jewelry chest to be sure nothing happened to its contents that I did not observe and ok. I would have given just about anything to video their work to use as an example of ideal teamwork and service delivery with my clients in the people strategy industry. This group has a great deal to teach most professional organizations on what success delivered looks like! I simply cannot recommend this company and their team members enough. A 5 Star rating almost doesn't do these guys justice. They showed up early and were ready to work- I wasn't ready for how fast they were. Almost without fail, they jogged up the stairs.... 3 flights of stairs, to get more boxes. That was pretty cool to see and also, I knew that we hired the right guys right away. These guys were ALL polite and had a sense of urgency and professionalism that was refreshing. Moving is stressful and having them on your team makes things easy. Now, hold up. You might be thinking "I have valuable stuff, moving too fast breaks things". I get it. Well, here's the "WOW" factor- they are extremely careful with everything and have one guy dedicated to making sure your stuff is packed to travel without breaking. They wrapped my antique China hutch and all of the glass that went with it so well, we probably could have went off roading and still arrived in tact. They took the utmost care handling EVERY thing they touched, they just moved faster than most people. It was amazing. I have a lot of delicate stuff and not one single thing was broken or damaged. That is saying a lot. Did I mention that I have a full body mounted mountain lion on a faux rock that weighs approximately as much as the Earth? I do. It's as awkward as a 12 year old boy at a couples dance and as delicate as a champagne glass. My lion arrived without a scratch. I need to add that I broke 2 things when I was moving stuff myself, and I'm a pretty careful dude. I didn't know about the "Other Side Movers" mission when they arrived. But I found out during the day that these guys were all working on rebuilding their lives and if their time with us was any indication of their dedication and progress, every single one of these guys is going to thrive. I can honestly say that it has been a long time since I've experienced such amazing customer service. They were polite, hard working and extremely careful. What more can you say? I guess thank you. So, thank you Joseph, Ronnie, Dorian and David- you ALL not only made our move a pleasant experience but you also restored a little bit of faith in our next generation, they could learn a lot from each of you. Never used a moving company before and reviewed a ton of them just because of all the crazy weird stuff you read about things that happen with moving company's. Of course, this being our first time using such a service, we were nervous, but must say, these guys were just professionally awesome! They showed up near 20 minutes early, worked fluidly, making it extremely efficient on both the load up and unload. They were pleasantly surprised that we wrapped a bunch of stuff already and wrapped up anything we had left with ease (mainly our recliner couches, box frames for bed and a 2 door heavy cabinet) - without us asking them to. They moved our heavy body opponent bag that was filled with sand in the bottom weighing over 300lbs from the basement with ease and also found a way to take apart our heavy wooden table we've had forever to get it out of the house - and quickly put it back together at the new place. We accidentally left the propane tank sitting with the stuff to be moved in the garage and they quickly informed us that they could not take this (its part of the company policy) showing integrity and loyalty to the business and its mission. They moved us our 3 bd home, plus misc items as mentioned above, 78 miles from Littleton to Colorado Springs and did not scratch one item, a floor or anything. The price came in at less than expected too - no funny stuff or overcharge or holding possessions til pay with this company. Respectable for sure! Love the fact that the proceeds go to help others. If we ever had to move again, we would go with them for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE OVER ALL OTHER MOVING COMPANIES. BETTER PRICE, BETTER SERVICE, BETTER EVERYTHING!!! Last week I called needing to be moved in a hurry, I knew I was hoping for the best by asking this company to move me that Saturday. I received a quote and a confirmation within minutes. On Saturday the movers called me stated they were on their way. In my mind I kept thinking ok what is going to go wrong because in my experience from my last temporary move 3 months ago, everything went wrong but, that's what you get when you hire family. These guys showed up when they said they would. The assessed my furniture and said no problem and got to work. They packed and wrapped some delicate furniture items that I had that were passed on to me and took special care of them. They organized everything and loaded the truck and we were on our way to our new place. When we arrived at our new place and the movers were right behind us and we did not have to wait for them at all. When they moved the furniture in I said just dump it where ever as long as the furniture made it in the house. I would move organize it later myself. I let the moving team do what they had to as I was moving my some items I wanted to handle myself in the back door. I literally walked in my new place and they had everything organized and setup. They had it organized better than what I visioned. I was shocked! They cleaned and pick up all the wrap and took it with them. Still shocked!!I never experienced a service like this. Today I am just finishing up, hanging items and it feels unreal that I am settled and moved in. The guys/movers were the most courteous, considerate professionals I have seen in a long time. Shout out to Adrian, Kelly, Stan, and Mickey! You will be in good hands with these men. We hired this crew after a friend gave us a recommendation and then we saw their strong reviews on Google. This crew arrived nine minutes early and waited for me to arrive at the scheduled time. Crew lead, Adrian, assessed our needs, verbalized the game plan, and reviewed costs. Then his team jumped into action - no dilly dallying. The crew spoke cleanly (no cursing) and communicated amongst one another to accomplish tasks. Once at our destination, there was a heavy item to navigate down a precarious staircase. Adrian assessed the dimensions of the space, then pointed out his concern that the heavy item may snap or crack the flooring on the steps. After briefly weighing the risks and costs, I opted to move forward with bringing it down to the basement. They enlisted a devise that stepped the large item down each stair, as it was also guided with man power. A bit about the individual movers: 1. ADRIAN lead the team with calm focus. 2. MICKEY was reserved. 3. KELLY took the time to introduce himself with eye contact. This added a personal touch. 4. STAN moved with a bounce in his step. He took an interest in my German shepherd and his presence gave the impression that he enjoyed his job. Contrast this experience with a review I wrote years ago about a moving company who showed up two hours late - with bloodshot eyes, Rastafarian dreads, and a pungent odor that smelled like a Snoop Dog concert. What a great company! Look up their mission if you haven't and realize that the money is going to an *amazing cause* I was moving a 10x10x20 storage unit to a home and it was packed pretty darn tight. When just my wife and I were packing it into a moving truck it took a solid day. It had art, mirrors, vases, lamps, electronics, motorcycles, furniture. It was the full deal of house stuff that you don't want nicked, much less broken. The crew arrived 10 minutes early and did an assessment. They set up their line and got to it. They had masks of course! They put aside fragile and assorted items as they went along and asked questions on anything they were unsure of. They caught some boxes I had forgotten to label fragile but they seemed light or had a rattle and they double checked with me. Extremely thorough! We chatted as the move went on and they were all just fantastic guys and extremely professional. I really enjoyed just talking to them during the whole thing. They unloaded it at the house with a basement and 2 stories quickly. End to end to load and unload the boxes to their respective rooms within the house - 3.5 hours. It was FAST. But! Very careful. We had a box with a mirror in it that was about 5 inches thick and later we opened it up and saw that we had placed loose lightbulbs in the bottom and they were unbroken. They folded up any loose blankets into perfect squares, everything was handled with care. Just meticulous work. I can't recommend them enough, and I will absolutely be using them for my next move. THESE ARE THE ONLY MOVERS YOU NEED! If you read nothing else about this review that's the only thing you need to know! I will only be using The Other Side Moving for any moves I ever have in the future, have told all my friends and family the same thing, and here's why. The Other Side Moving was referred to me by a friend who recently moved. She sang their praises so I didn't look anywhere else, got a quote which was very reasonable so I booked them! To make this short and sweet, they showed up early, Anthony R, Ryan D and Chris P from the get go were friendly, helpful and I knew would be great to help me with my move. I have a very heavy treadmill base, when I moved into my place a different moving company refused to move the base upstairs. They said no and it would cost me extra, so with a lot of pleading and additional money they did it. Not Anthony, Ryan and Chris. They didn't bat an eye at it, they said yep looks heavy but we will get it out for you and they did! Nothing had a scratch or dent on it, everything was moved out and in with zero problems. Spending the day with them was not only helpful but it was a pleasure. In fact not only will I always use The Other Side Movers if Anthony R, Ryan D and Chris P are available I will request them! Key experiences: - The full team arrived 15min early with 4 movers (I paid for 3, but they were training an additional team member) - The entire team communicated clearly with me and each other, asking questions about any special care I wanted to take with items that looked delicate - They ensured everything went into the *exact* right spot in our new home - Joseph spent an extra minute making sure the dining room table was perfectly centered :) - When we asked the crew to remove their shoes before walking on our new carpet, they not only obliged, but let us know that they deliberately wear shoes that are easy to slip on/off for exactly this situation - All 4 gentlemen were role models of politeness, always smiling and saying please and thank you throughout the entire day - Joseph even repaired a coffee table leg that prior movers had broken a couple years ago! - Last but not least, this service is just an amazing value. The quote was among the very lowest from the moving services we considered, and all of the pricing was up front and transparent. They packed and moved my mother's 5,000-square-foot house over the course of 2 days and the quality of every aspect of the move was exceptional. Our crew was Daniel, Josiah, Keith, and Mickey. Each of them was hard-working, courteous, and kind. Daniel was an exceptional leader. His ability to manage all the intricate details of a massive move was incredible. He kept track of all the items (we moved our home to two different locations) and did so efficiently and with the utmost of grace. Not only were they fast (bearly stopping to eat) but it was also nearing 100 degrees outside both days. Keith was fast, hardworking and took great care in packing all my mom's fragile kitchen items. Mickey and Josiah were communicative, warm and personable as well as being incredibly hard-working as well. The pricing was fair and transparent and super organized. Daniel laid out all the costs for materials, labor, and mileage in a clear and honest way when they wrapped. Last but not least Luke in the office was always available and set up the move to be seamless with great communication throughout the process. The Other Side Movers did a really great job with our move, and were really easy to work with. This is the first time we have hired professional movers, and we weren't really sure what to expect, but they really took care of everything for us to safely move all our belongings. The townhome we moved to is not the easiest to navigate furniture through from the ground level to the first floor, as the ceiling is lower in that space, and it turned out our couch would not fit through that space. But the Other Side Movers didn't give up; in fact they instead hoisted the couch up 3 stories to our roof deck, and then carried it down the stairs to our main room! We were so impressed and grateful that we didn't have to abandon our couch. We did have one incident where two of the movers were trying to move our extremely heavy dresser up the stairs, and unfortunately, one of them fell and broke one of the wooden stairs. Luckily, the mover was ok and our dresser had just a few minor scratches on it, but the stair was in pretty bad shape. But not to worry, The Other Side Movers filled out an incident report and by the following day, they had sent out an inspector to see the damage and come up with a plan to repair it. Just a week later, our stair has been repaired and looks absolutely perfect! We understand that during a move, things like that can happen, and we were so impressed with how quickly and efficiently they handled the problem and made the repair for us. After being scammed by a shady craigslist 'moving company', I was left hanging and desperate for help. A friend recommended The Other Side, so I called and set up an appointment with Jayson, who was very friendly and professional. The movers, Mario and Jalen showed up on time and ready to work. They both had positive attitudes and in spite of obstacles, neither of them complained or showed anything but determination to get the job done. The teamwork between these two was impeccable. With a nod and a few words, they relied on each other to move heavy items out of very tight spaces. I can honestly say I've never had a better moving experience. I was impressed by the work ethic these two displayed, and their overall representation of their company. They handled my items with care and they worked quickly without a hitch and without pause. FIVE STARS!!!!! I would give them more stars if I could! From the first interaction of the free estimate to the last piece of furniture unloaded off the truck, The Other Side MovIng & Storage exceeded all our expectations! I am so impressed with the company and the education and values they provide for their participants. Luke handled our estimate, online paperwork and scheduling quickly and efficiently! The day of the move went smoothly and quickly. We had several weeks to move from one location to the other, so we moved everything but the BIG stuff ourselves. Joseph, Adrian and Zack worked well together as a team in spite of having to go up and down stairs and moving large heavy pieces of furniture. And Luke followed up the next day to ensure that we were happy with our move. If you are looking for an excellent moving company - I highly recommend The Other Side Movers. I was so thrilled to be able to have TOSA move my daughter's stuff from our house to her Cottage apartment in Boulder. Not only did they drive to our house, they went to a former roommate's house to pick up furniture etc. Justin and Dave were the more most professional movers I have ever seen. They showed up 15 minutes early and ready to attack..... They were mission driven, yet very cordial to us and they interacted with all the people we were in contact with throughout the move. They were hustling through out the entire move. We had a couch from a previous apartment that was a challenge to fit through the vintage door. Justin, with his experience, made it happen and my daughter had tears of joy to have this comfortable couch in this tiny cottage. (my husband said it would not work!) This was the best experience I have ever had with a moving company and I have had many moves thorough my life. I would recommend TOSA to everyone I know and work with both residential and commercial. I was humbled that Luke accommodated me on a last minute move that I truly needed help with. He even sent an extra worker to help. These three gentlemen went out of their way making sure they put things where I needed them to go and helped with set up of some of my furniture. They were professional, courteous, reliable, efficient and even worked in the pouring rain making sure my items were covered and protected. When they were leaving they told me about the company and how they help people in need with the money they make on the moves they do each day. They donate without any funding by the government or outside agencies. I just can't tell you how grateful I am to the workers to Luke into the company and their vision overall. I don't say this lightly because my family has moved several times, but this was the best moving experience we've ever had and it is all thanks to the Other Side movers. Armando, Jayson, and Chandler were the biggest blessing to me and my daughter not only because they made our move so effortless for us, but they also made it as joyful of a process as any move could be because of their kind, thoughtful, and eager attitudes. My team from The Other Side Moving were WONDERFUL!!! Armando, Keith, and Bautista arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. I was anxious and stressed but they calmed me immediately by taking the time to explain everything they would be doing before they began. They proceeded to work so efficiently, and in such an organized manner, all I had to do was stay out of their way. Before choosing a moving company, I checked out reviews.
