The shop itself is hard to miss. The exterior is colorful and inviting, and once you walk in, the space is clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed. There is colorful seating that feels perfect for casual cake tastings or even photos. The display cases are visually appealing and make choosing a cake feel like part of the experience. I found this store via the Too Good To Go app, and I have been back several times now. Each flavor of cake or cookie that we have tried has been delicious. The staff is friendly, and service is fast. Pros: Love coming here to take these classes. The owner answered all my questions. She didn't mind saying the same thing over and over to different groups. Cons: my coworker asked if the classes are worth the prices. I definitely didn't get $65 worth of treats. But I learned how to work with fondant, piping technique, and dipping on chocolate. read more

As a former employee, nothing is made from scratch or even at all for that matter. Every cake is box mix (just water added) and the buttercream comes premade in buckets. Every single treat (besides cookies) are literally bought already made from Walmart. They just throw it in a new container with their label on it. The back kitchen hasn't been cleaned well since opening about 10 years ago. Really is a shame to everyone who pays such high prices for this garbage! read more

Nasty tasting red velvet cake. I received a cake from this shop for my birthday and it was gross. The "buttercream" tasted like fondant. The icing was so thick it peeled right away from the cake. I'm not a baker but it seems like they might've mixed fondant and buttercream together? At any rate, I urged the person who bought it for me to ask for their money back but I don't know if they will. I don't know what they paid but I'd bet my entire house it was too much. Boxed cake and icing taste better than this. I couldn't even finish one slice. read more

Oh my lanta I cannot say enough about All Things Cake!!! They did mine and my twin sisters wedding cake on the same day (we had a double wedding)! First off it was gorgeous & secondly it tasted even better! Not to mention the cake tasting was absolutely to die for!!! Yesterday was our 1 year and we followed the steps to get our cake ready to eat. Normally we've heard your cake won't taste great it's just a tradition...BUT when I say it was amazing I mean it was SO DANG GOOD! We have definitely had a few more slices since last night. I booked a wedding cake tasting here and to my surprise I recognized the owner from the bulk store I work at. She comes in all the time to buy our bakery items (cookies, icing, cakes, cupcakes, etc.) I'm not trashing that, I know a lot of places do that, but I was expecting the price to reflect the fact that they don't make anything themselves. I was shocked to see higher prices than bakeries that bake from scratch. I guess this is why you have to select from their basic flavors on their menu and they don't do any other ones. All their fillings are available to buy at their shop and they aren't their own brand. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that bakes from scratch so you can have a fresh cake. All the other bakeries in the area that I've done tastings at bake from scratch and can prove it. At least then you can justify the cost. read more

I used All Things Cake for a my daughters' graduation party (2 daughter's graduating). I thought I would try them so I could have an extra special decorated cake. I was a little shocked when I ordered the cake and the cost was $135 for half sheet. I convinced myself it would be worth it. When I got the cake the decorating was sooo basic. Nothing special. They didn't even get the right colors for TU (where my daughter graduated from). The cake didn't taste like anything special either. We threw 1/3 of it away because nobody wanted any more. I do not recommend this bakery - it is not worth the cost for what you get. read more

I really think this store needs to choose...are you a bakery or are you a supply store? Obviously being both doesn't work! The whole time I was in the store the owner was too busy chit chatting with soemone working on an order in the back. They were not friendly & were even talking negative about orders and how the person just wanted too much on their cake. Once I finally got their attention to help me, the phone rang and she took it, said she'd call the person back since she had customers in the store, then went to the back to chit chat again, never returning to me to answer my questions! I felt like I should just call from her shop so she might atleast acknowledge me! Its very sad at the lack of customer service & how you are treated like a nusience. This happened a year ago too but I figured they were stressed since they just openened...no...I think they generally are just rude! Sadly they do have a good supply of products that you won't find at a craft store so you're stuck! I only bought what I had to have from her! Everything else I went to hobby lobby for even though I wasn't planning on it just because I didn't want to spend more money in her store since I clearly was an unappreciated customer! read more

For a recent bride of mine, we had a lot of challenges... and then to top it off, the cake started to lean, and then fell over as soon as we pulled it into the back. Also, Brides, read your contract VERY carefully prior to putting your name on the dotted line - some items, such as not being able to serve any other cake, groom's cake etc, is unheard of! read more

I custom ordered my birthday cupcakes here and the red velvet cupcakes tasted okay (nothing special)...i asked specifically for fondant numbers on my cupcakes and paid extra for it, and they didn't do it...they just piped it with icing. when i asked if anything could be done about it, they apologized and were closing the store in a few minutes, so nothing could be done. honestly, i'm never coming back. I have used All Things Cake 4 times for birthday cakes. The cakes have all turned out beautifully and have tasted wonderfully. Each time, I have gotten the same flavors- the top chocolate chip and and the bottom strawberry- and everyone has raved about them. I have never had any problems with their costumer service. However, some of my friends have had problems with them not calling back and being short on the phone. Again, I have been very pleased with them. It is sad that so many people have had problems with the "business" side of it, because the cakes REALLY are good and look amazing! read more

I love All Things Cake! They have made 4 custom cakes for me so far. The quality is excellent, flavors are great, and the designs are beyond any other store/bakery in town. I have priced my requested designs at other bakeries and they were either much more expensive, or not confident in being able to do what I was requesting, or both. All Things Cake always does a fantastic job creating what I have imagines, and surpasses my expectaions. And all for less than I could make a similar cake myself (I tried once and all the supplies cost more than just ordering from here, and their quality is better than I can do myself). The owner is wonderful. Yes, they can be busy, but she will make time to talk to you about supplies or a cake order if you wait while she is taking care of others. She also remembers her customers, and has gone out of her way to work me into the schedule becasue I am a repeat customer. I highly reccomend All Things Cake. read more

All Things Cake made the cake for my daughter's first birthday party, and I couldn't be happier. First, they were able to fit me in, when other bakeries said they were booked. Second, they were very nice to work with (I live out of state, so I did everything over the phone and via email). Finally, and most importantly, the cake turned out exactly like I had hoped. Rather than have them re-do a cake they had already made, I had my own idea for a design. I described what I wanted in an email and attached a few pics of cakes they and other bakeries had made to illustrate. They managed to get it exactly right. I was definitely more concerned with how it looked than how it tasted, but it was/is delicious, too. The only problem is that, as it turns out, my daughter thinks that birthday cake is poison! She burst into tears when she touched her (free-of-charge) smash cake and it collapsed, and she has absolutely refused to taste it ever since! read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I when I ordered my wedding cake, they gave us several cupcakes flavors and fillings of our choice to try. They were all so awesome that we had a difficult time trying to decide. The flowers for the cake arrived first and they were beautiful, but they were ALL wrong and didn't fit the cake! As the bride, I freaked out, but thank God for Janette! She pulled the flowers apart and placed them beautifully on our cake like a pro and saved the day. Normally, a wedding cake is dry and not really made for human consumption, but not this cake! It tasted as good as it looked and all of my guests kept asking us where we got it. Everyone at All Things Cake was very professional and sweet to us. They made sure we were happy and got exactly what we wanted.
