I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. It did not disappoint. We tried a variety of items & everything was amazing. We tried the quiche Florentine, ham & cheese croissant, classic croissant, egg Benedict, ham croquet, Americano, & chai latte. Service was excellent. You order at the front but then food is brought out to your table with silverware & napkins. Staff were kind & very helpful. Ambience is also great. Decor has a French cafe feel. Pros: finally tried out the new restaurant they opened next door to the bakery. Loved it. Got tickets for the afternoon tea. All the sandwiches were absolutely fabulous. I liked the frosted sugar cookie. My friend liked all the desserts. Cons: a bit crowded, but I understand they wanted to fit all the tables in there. Other customers were very quiet. Couldn't bread conversations even if a was a few feet from the next table. My friend didn't like that our tea came on regular plates and not the tiered plates. Our scones were burned. read more

I was really looking forward to trying this place with my husband this past weekend. We drove nearly 40 minutes here on a Saturday morning. Upon arriving, we saw a couple dining on a bistro table out front. We walked inside and glanced at a menu posted on the glass, when a lady behind the counter stated "our dining room is closed for a private event, so no kitchen menu items." I was actually perusing the specialty coffee drinks that were posted, and I looked up at the lady. I stated "well, I didn't see anything posted here or on the social media pages about a private event and the dining room being closed." In my head I was thinking "how rude" and I almost walked out. But, I looked at my husband and asked him what he wanted to order. He ordered a sausage roll and I had a chocolate croissant, which were bagged up by another worker who was much kinder. Sadly, I would've purchased more items, including a coffee beverage from the posted menu but since I was greeted rudely, I chose not to. To the management: If I would've known about the event, I probably would've purchased tickets, or decided to drive almost 40 minutes there another day when I could dine-in. And, secondly if your dining room is closed - please post about it (even if it's a paper sign on the door). I love supporting small businesses, but customer service is lacking here. I witnessed this same lady rudely reply to another guest who asked if they had a specific item. So, my 3 stars is for the yummy chocolate croissant I ate in the car (on a paper towel). Wrapping up the weekend with a sweet treat for me and Wifey at Patisserie by Sheila Anne over in Jenks. It was quiet when we stopped in around noon but there was still a solid selection of delectable treats. I opted for a piece of Italian cream cake and wifey got a croissant with raspberry and almonds. My cake was rich and delicious. I decided to half my slice and safe the rest for tomorrow. It was so moist and felt great to eat but I found it a little rich and very sweet. The older I get the harder it is for me to just got through a whole dessert. I'm okay with that, fewer calories per intake and I a have a treat for tomorrow!!! Wifey enjoyed her croissant and wait was so flaky and wasn't too sweet overall but also opted to eat half and enjoy the rest for breakfast. Such a cute and classy little shop with crazy good pastries! I stopped in and got a Brownie and Pain au Chocolat to go. The brownie was so good and soft with delicious icing, though it was a bit small. The pain au chocolat was marvelously buttery and flaky, with just enough filling. French Baguette The baguette features a beautifully composed interior and a traditional French flavor profile, complete with a slight tang on the finish. The shaping leans rustic, giving it a hand-formed charm. The primary critique lies in the crust. The exterior lacks the crisp texture expected of a classic baguette. This may stem from insufficient moisture during baking. Still, it's a respectable loaf and a promising start. Red wine loaf with soaked raisins and pistachios. This bread is simply tremendous. Each bite opens with deep, fermented notes of red wine, followed by a rich, bready warmth laced with bursts of sweet raisin and a nutty pistachio finish. It's complex, layered, dense and beautifully balanced--a true pièce de résistance. This loaf stands out not just in Tulsa, but across Oklahoma. It's easily one of the most remarkable breads I've tasted in the state. Again, the only critique is that there is not much contrast between the interior and exterior. Rose Entremet Visually, the rose entremet is inviting, its molded shape drawing the eye with a sense of charm. Texturally, it lacks refinement: the mousse is overly soft, almost airy to the point of collapse, and without the support of a chocolate shell or defined interior layers, the piece feels unfinished. Closer to 3.5 stars. We went last Sunday. Unfortunately there wasn't any croissants that day. The eclairs were $5, pies were $7 a slice and the refrigerated chicken pot pie was $12. It was a little pricey for me to buy everything to try, so we bought the brookie ($3) and cinnamon roll ($5). I like the cinnamon roll and would probably like the brookie since it has dark chocolate. Horrible Napoleon cake. Overpriced, dough was thick and raw! Napoleons are thin and flakey puff pastry. When we tried to slice it the whole cake pushed apart because of the thickness of the raw dough. To much thick cream that is NOT Napoleon cream at all. Did not put macaroons on top of cake as pictured and was making the cake the morning of pickup so it was 1) not ready and 2) not made properly! No apology but charged us $125! The cake was just horrible. Quiche was watery and runny and just gross, the soups were chunky and not good. Tomato or leek. Honest opinion, overpriced and not worth it. read more

Was really excited about trying this place since I have spent a lot of time in France and can't turn down a good croissant or chocolate croissant. Or any good bakery item really. When I first walked in, I was immediately greeted, and noticed a lot of good items in the case. After being impressed with the selection, I was shocked at the prices of all of the items. Not wanting to be rude, I went ahead and ordered what I would normally order and wanted to give it a fair shot. $5 for a chocolate croissant is outrageous. $4.50 for a regular croissant is outrageous and $5 for a small dry cinnamon roll is really outrageous. Both of the croissants I got were OK. But for quality and price, I would highly recommend Saint Amon bakery. Keep in mind that a high-quality croissant or chocolate croissant in Paris costs the equivalent of about two dollars including tax and they don't ask for tip. Or about 60% cheaper than Sheila Anne charges. Saint Amon charges $3.25 for a croissant and $3.95 for a chocolate croissant. Doesn't sound like much of a difference but it is. About 30% cheaper! Unfortunately, I won't be back. Because I don't think the prices are going to suddenly get reduced back to reality. To be fair, I'm open to hearing why the prices are so outrageous. A reasonable explanation would be appreciated. read more
