Before scheduling my first appointment, I called the clinic specifically to verify my insurance coverage and was clearly told that my out-of-pocket cost would be $0. Based on that information, I scheduled an appointment. When I arrived for my first visit, I asked again to confirm that I would not owe anything, and I was reassured that there would be no charge. Relying on that information, I completed the evaluation session and was scheduled for seven additional visits. I only attended one follow-up session because most of the balance exercises could easily be performed at home, and I canceled the remaining appointments. To my surprise, I later received a bill for $369 for the visits. I contacted the clinic and explained that this was not what I had been told before scheduling or attending treatment. I requested that they review the phone call, if it was recorded, to verify what I had been told regarding the cost. However, they never investigated the issue or provided any meaningful explanation. Instead, they continue to send payment demands for charges that I would never have agreed to had I been given accurate information from the beginning. Patients deserve transparency regarding insurance coverage and financial responsibility before receiving treatment. My experience was extremely disappointing
