Since posting this review, the owner has contacted me several times, stating that this "should have been handled man-to-man." I found that framing unnecessary and unprofessional, especially given that the review reflects my actual experience. Due to recent threats of legal action over my original opinion, I have been documenting communications and recording calls. I'm comfortable standing by the factual details of what occurred. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional, and I would not recommend this company. Protect yourself and make sure you get written estimates.

These are hard-working guys they took down four pine trees and a relatively big maple tree in about 3 1/2 hours. That also includes cleanup, which I feel like each time they've been to my house they've gone above and beyond for cleanup, which is really nice. Anytime I've ever called grasshopper they've answered their phone and been to my house to give me a quote within two days. I had multiple companies come out here and some of the quotes were outrageous. I think Phil does very fair business and if you're looking for a tree service company, I would highly recommend having grasshopper give you a quote.

We hired John and Juan to do our backyard and they put in about 25 trees - expensive, yes. A few months later (still within the years warranty) most of the trees withered and started showing signs of death. John reassured us he would take care of them as it was within the years warranty they provided. Months and months of us waiting on him to come and replace the tress and many times standing us up - nothing, not even a phone call. Since standing us up on multiple ocassions, I have called and left voice messages and texts and they have not responded. We feel deceived.

I hired Always Green Landscaping to do a backyard Patio replacement project in 2022. After…read moreremoving the old patio, they discovered a drainage pipe problem that they offered to fix (for a significant amount of additional money, of course). When I agreed, they started digging right away without calling OUPS to have property marked for existing utilities (as required by Ohio Revised Code). As a result, they damaged my high voltage electric line which ultimately cost me $6500 to fix. They refused to cover even half of that cost and acted very unprofessionally. So, while they ultimately did a good job on patio replacement, I observed their tendency to cutting corners and not following the proper procedures. This resulted in a very poor price to value ratio of their service to me. I would not recommend them to anybody.
