The bushes they didn't get to before I intervened bloomed all summer long. They skipped our lawn mowing from time to time without warning and once sent an elderly gentleman to mow when they had missed. The gentleman didn't blow the grass cuttings off of the lawn and the entire yard died. They didn't check in with us about the mowing season ending- just didn't show up and when i messaged said they figured we were done with mowing since our yard was dead. They have been Lifesavers to us and literally cannot say enough good that would do justice. After our third company quit showing up, we called Barrera's for a quote. They called me back ten minutes later with a quote and I asked when they could come cut the grass....they showed up in less than five minutes!! While they were here, my husband decided to ask them about a ditch on the side of our property. (Because of all the problems with the other companies, this ditch had become severely overgrown with weeds so thick it broke our little weed eater.). They told us what they could do and would show up Monday, just a few days later. Sure enough, they came and worked so extremely hard to clear out the ditch and even hauled everything away. We lost a lot of the seed and top soil in the front, back, and side yard. We were told they would come back and fix it this year. I've been waiting since the spring for them to come back out and they haven't. He told me he would be out in July, but never showed up. He didnt even let me know they wouldnt be out, I had to reach out and find out why they never showed. He informed me he is short staffed (I get it, totally understand), but there's no communication and no effort to come back and fix our yard. The owner is super nice and seems like a good guy, but we are very frustrated and disappointed.
