We spent over $300 on apparel and one item was on back order. We have been calling and calling asking when it might come in as it was a travel bag that holds all of her sports equipment. She is the ONLY kid on the team that did not get this bag. We decided late to add her name to the bag and were told it was an extra $5... cool, we will pay this additional fee once the bag comes in. We received an invoice for $5 from Wicked Smart .. however I was waiting to pay the bill until we got confirmation that bag was actually in their facility. I called today and they told me it was in but I needed to pay the $6.48 invoice. I then said "you mean $5 invoice that I received on 2/4/22?" Their response was "someone quoted you wrong price and it's actually $6" I then advised them that I received an invoice for $5 and why is it more? "That is the price, $6" I know it's only a $1 but I don't understand how they can just decide to re-invoice me because some that works for them screwed up. I own a small business and I would NEVER do this to my customer, especially if it meant keeping the customer happy and coming back. I would just waive the $1 difference. The guy on the phone was very dismissive and basically told me "it is what it is, we won't start working on it until you pay the invoice" On top of all of that, they won't even let me pick up the bag, I have to depend on the coach taking time to go get it... I will NEVER do business with these people again.

I tend to come in to have prints matted and/or framed. Archival materials are the norm. The staff will also mat to ready-made frame sizes or custom. Their training also makes choosing mats easier. "Do you want bright white or eggshell white?" "Let's look at them together." Additionally, they offer to amend things that I didn't notice. A print I asked to have matted and framed was slightly curved. I was assured the print would be flattened prior to being matted and framed so it would sit more snugly. They sell the pencils individually so she can selectively restock the ones she runs out of most. Apparently, green is the most frequently used color for all the grass in landscapes so she can buy individual ones here very reasonably instead of buying a whole new package of pencils. They also have a nice selection of gift items like small pouches, reusable bags, socks, cards and assorted small art themed things. The selection of easels is extensive and includes table easels and standing easels. Tons of canvas, paints and paint brushes. Prices are reasonable. I found the staff a little overbearing (they greeted me multiple times) when I entered the store but were friendly at checkout. Highly recommend.
