I went in 4 months ago and received a fantastic haircut. It was the treat I needed after being vaccinated and growing out the mess that was my hair. I meant to keep it sharp but life and the variant had me staying away. Finally, a couple weeks ago, I had enough and called to make an appointment for another cut. First let me start by saying this is the friendliest welcome I've had so far in a barbershop in Sac. The older gentleman was very welcoming! Stopped by to get my hair cut (Afro at the time) to a faux hawk/Mohawk with a design. The haircut I received was ok but Nothing and when I saw nothing I mean NO-THING, like the photo I showed him. The younger guy, I think his name is Evan but he didn't tell me, cut my hair. I showed him the photo and let him go to work. I started the very awkward conversation with him. IDK if I just made him nervous or what, but he was not nearly as talkative as he was with the previous client. At the end of my very quick haircut, I didn't get an invite back or a business card (unlike the client before me did). Overall, 1 star for attentiveness of the older gentleman, 1 star for an Okay haircut. Won't be coming back to this spot unfortunately. read more

I was looking for actual BARBERS in the Citrus Heights area, after getting my hair cut at several " salons " for the past year or so. Their hair cuts are OK, but, let me tell you..there is quite a difference between the hair cuts you get at an actual barber. I wandered into this local place I found here on YELP. I met these two black gentlemen..one a little older, one a little younger. The place is decked out with sports memorabilia, and a nice quality wide screen TV. One chair was open, so I got right in. I talked a little, and listened a lot. Quite a positive vibe here.. both from the surroundings, and from the chat. The haircut was great, and the price was fair. What more could you want ?? Best Barber Shop by far. Been going here for years on and off when I don't want to cut my hair by myself, and the owner makes the experience. Keith is a down to earth guy, who has some good, positive advice if you listen. Couple years ago I believe it was just him by himself, but the new guys that work there now are just as awesome. I ran late for my appointment with my barber at Doonan's with no one available. Which sucked, because I had waited before for my barber when HE was running late. I quickly yelped a good barbershop that cut African textured hair. All Welcome barbershop was able to squeeze me in-- 10 minutes after closing! Get that! They were very extremely accommodating. The man is so real that during our college career, he offered us free haircuts cuz he knew we were broke students. I am a mother of two little boys (6 & 2) that in general are good for everything except getting their hair cut. Keith was fantastic! Not only did my boys get good cuts (with no injuries) but he was so good about the boys in general. We will be returning.
