I personally see Nick it's a great environment and he cuts my boys hair too, my son that has sensory problems and hated getting his hair cut now looks forward and is excited to come to the shop for his cuts. my other son is also always excited to go. It's truly a place for everyone they make things work regardless if there are special situations they do amazing work and you always walk out happy with the results. All the stars for this place. The atmosphere is laid back, friendly, and even has good music to chill to. My son is on the shy side and needed a bit of bribery just to get in the door, but now he's excited for his hair to grow just so he can go back. He loves his haircut and received compliments on it before we even got home. Nick really listened to what we wanted (which on my end was admittedly vague at best), offered feedback, and gave a talented result that blew expectations out of the water. I am very picky when it comes to my hair, I've been going to my barber for 13yrs but he was on vacation and I needed a haircut so I googled a barber shop near me and came across trendsetters. I'm not gonna lie I was hesitant to go to a new shop but after finding nick(the owner) I would definitely go back. I told him how I wanted my haircut and he nailed it. I booked a haircut and beard trim but I forgot to tell him how I like my beard trim and lineup and he did it all to my liking so he is a very skilled barber. He took his time and made sure everything was on point. If you are looking for a clean fade he is definitely someone I would recommend. read more

My son needed a trim on only the sides. He had like a mullet going on and the barber cut his tail off, faded the back of his head mind you it was not even at all. Made him look like a mushroom head. The barber gave my my grandson a great haircut, and at the last minute it was no problem to just walk in. However... the music is pretty loud, but whatever, it was the music itself that I found offensive. Maybe I should've just left, but I thought they would be respectful of an 8yo boy and put on some "cleaner" music. The guys proceeded to talk adult conversation with same language in front of him also. I'm not a prude by any means, and occasionally he does hear fowl language, and yes, it's their studio, which looks very clean and organized, but shouldn't it be toned down at least a little bit for certain clientele? (Maybe they don't want kids in their studio, but it wasn't advertised as such) There was only one other customer while we were there and he had left shortly after we arrived. It's just a warning, the atmosphere is not kid friendly. read more

Trendsetters Barbering Co was highly recommended to me. I had an appointment today at 1230. When I arrived I was greeted by a man who claimed to be the manager. Their was some confusion about if I was at the right place and who the barber was the appointment was with. I informed the "manager" I was stepping out to call the person who set the appointment the night before to confirm i was in the right place and confirm the barber name. After i stepped out the manager sat my brother in his chair and began to prep him without confirmation from me. The manager came out and said " hey is he getting his hair cut or what, he's sitting in my chair and time is money, i could be doing something else" I reiterated Im waitng for a reply. I followed the "manager" inside and told him the barber name is Bryan. The "manager " replied with his mexican and Im a brother, Bryan is a kid, he come in when ever he want" (my brother is african american) and he repeated to me "tine is money and he's sitting in my chair, he could be doing something else " Their were only the manager and another barber cutting hair, no one else, the place was empty! I told my brother lest go , i don't have to take this and he's professionalism was horrible. The "manager" followed us outside and continued with his banter "time is money" A manager position is a lead position, he clearly needs training on conflict solution, professionalism , communication between staff and customer service skills!
