I also noticed that the lintel molding above several windows was never replaced. I noticed the holes in the molding from the hail when I got on a ladder to re-attach the gutter downspout that was falling away from the house. I called Doug, the owner and he NEVER showed up to look at his terrible work. Since then he doesn't even return my phone calls. I would never ever recommend Doug at Front Range Siding. Poor work and even worse business ethics.

He was hired to do my kitchen remodel and it turned out to be a mess. I regret paying him part of the money because his work is TERRIBLE. Steer clear of him. I should have went with my instinct when he brought my new refrigerator to me all banged up because he did not secure it inside his trailer. He lied about it an said maybe it was his fault only to admit it later as I was having my granite countertops installed that he was indeed at fault. From there he put my cabinets in wrong. Did not install them evenly and installed the crown molding incorrect. I have one cabinet flush with the ceiling, eight cabinets with the molding installed incorrect and a cabinet and pantry sitting about and inch or more from the ceiling. He says he's a custom builder, don't be fooled. He had another person come in and put in an a subpar backslash while he was running off doing other jobs. He is trying to do too many jobs at once and does not pay attention to detail while doing the job. It is a hard lesson learned and I would hate for anyone else to loose money and time with him. He used scraped materials that he got from a friend to do my baseboards and then wanted to charge me over $800 for the job. He uses some laborers who can barely speak english so he can will his weight over them. He walked away from my job because he was in over his head trying to do too many jobs at once and when I confronted him about him damaging my refrigerator and his shotty work he bailed. Now I have to pay someone else to correct his mistakes.

We decided to get some help with replacing our bathtub, doing a new tile surround, and replacing the toilet. The final product is amazing. The tile work was very carefully done, and James consulted us with design decisions along the way that we hadn't considered. He offered his opinion based on other bathrooms he'd done and kept us updated on progress and next steps. We definitely plan to use James again for some future projects.

As a first time homeowner I was concerned about hiring someone to work on my house. I probably interviewed about 10 people before choosing James. He even provided references when I asked for them. I'm so glad I went with my gut and hired James. My first project with him was a wall addition which he executed perfectly and on time. My second, and much larger project, was a complete remodel of my front porch and balcony. As a woodworker myself (and with a father who was a contractor) I was worried that whoever I hired wouldn't have the attention to detail that I was looking for. I had a full remodel done and Brian led the renovation. When something comes up, he actually thinks what would be best for me and will contact me to make sure things are good. For example, I went with scrap granite for the countertops (small condo) but the two small pieces on one side of the kitchen did not look like it matched the sink-side countertop (even though it was from the same slab, you know - it's granite). He worked with Front Range Stone to get those two replaced. He makes sure I am making right decisions like the direction of the tiles and hardwood floors. Like he just really cares! And so do the others - the crew who installed the bamboo hardwood floors did a fantastic job and Carlos installed all the tiles and bathroom vanity. Even when I panic because the dishwasher is leaking after install he came out to check it out (turns out it's just old and the rubber isn't rubbery anymore so time to replace). He just cares. And that is fantastic when working with contractors.

No compensation for the clear inconvenience and 6 extra months of rearranging schedules and fully cleaning up after dirty contract workers 10-15 more times than we should have. This was supposed to be done before we moved in. Brian is a sorry excuse for an owner and has terrible communication skills. He sends 500 word emails without a single punctuation mark and terrible word structure to the point where it becomes hard to look at him in the face when you see him. The quality of the work is subpar. It takes you actually looking at the quality and pointing out issues for them to argue with you why it is any issue only to eventually fix it anyways. Some items that were known issues for months never got fixed. Overall, if I could rate this no stars I would. I have a lot more work I am planning for the summer, Lookout will not get a chance to quote it
