Carlos Ramírez repaired an old Chippendale camel-back sofa whose solid hard woodbase had collapsed. I had purchased the antique sofa 40+ years ago at an auction in Miami. I wanted to save it. The work required was a combination of carpentry, upholstery & furniture restoration (removing & reinstalling all the springs). Carlos Ramírez responded to my email promptly. He was able to assess the work through a number of detailed photographs I sent (where I tried to explain what was wrong with the sofa.) They did the cushions wrong and need to be redone, who knows if they'll have enough fabric... also the table top looks Like they smeared the top with a rag with a sealant and just let it dry! It was terrible! I sent it back, we'll see how it comes out when they bring it back.
