We had some issues with 2 tours that we booked through Ride the Wave and Jim was fast to respond and assist. One of the tours we ended up having to cancel due to scheduling issues. I reached out to Jim to let him know and he worked on getting the refund process started right away and I received a confirmation email from the tour vendor the same day. We're now just waiting for it to get credited back to our card. The peace of mind of our trip being taken care of by professionals is invaluable. I can't recommend enough going through a travel agency for big trips because you just never know what could happen. Ride the Wave is as good as they come and I'm looking forward to using their services again for our next big trip!

We drove to the meeting location in a plaza where we were greeted and encouraged to use the restroom as the trip would be about 2 hours long. - we were able to get one jeep for a family of 4. -for children in car seats, they will require you to bring your own car seat to install onto the jeep. -you will drive about 30 mins to the Sonoran desert. -cruise and then photo opportunities once you get to the top. I thought it was a good deal and why not? However, before I agreed, I asked what fees are my responsibilities if we decide to take them up on their offer; they said just the taxes. I said - ok! They also offered a $300 dining gift card. Just lies. I went to the presentation and they gave me 2 vouchers. 1) the airfare/hotel -- there were 23 locations to fly to. To redeem the voucher, there was a $50 non-refundable processing fee. Then the terms and conditions which I'll include at the bottom of this. Short version is you can only check in on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday and there is a fee of $199 per person to cover taxes, etc based on double occupancy which means... if you went by yourself, you'd pay $398. 2) The dining certificate is for $300 spread over 12 months. So you're getting a $25 voucher each month and to redeem the voucher, there was a $14.95 non-refundable processing fee. So I wasted a couple of hours to drive there and listen to their schpiel. T&C for the getaway voucher: This certificate is void if bartered or sold to the recipient. This certificate is valid for a reservation registration validation form offering a bundled air and hotel package for two adults 21 years of age or older with two nights of standard hotel accommodations plus two round trip airline tickets from a participating Major International Airport in The Continental United States. I decided that what this company, Ultimate Consultants Travel, was offering was a good deal. It was a membership in a wholesale travel company whereby you would get very, very low rates on hotels, vacations ect. It was a very high pressure sale presentation. They assigned us a "sales person" and kept us in this small conference room with loud beach music so that we couldn't hear what the other people and thier sales people were talking about. After much hesitation we decided to give it a try because there is a 10 day right to cancel in the contract. They rushed us through the sign up and didn't go over any of the material. They said they would be around to service the contract because they were opening up a store at the Mall of America (I later found out this is NOT true). They said they were only in the hotel conference room until thier space opend up at the mall. When I got home I started doing a bit of research. This company, Ultimate Consultants Travel is a 3rd party selling these club membershipes for a company out of Valancia CA called Travel Services LLC. Tons of very negative reviews about being mislead and scammed. When looking through the material I realized that we had 10 days to cancel BUT we weren't given a user name and password to access the discount travel website for 14 days! It would be too late to cancel at that point! I contact the owners of Ultimate Consultants Travel, Melaine and Brian Danz. I asked for pricing on a hotel in SD for a business trip my husband needed to take. I felt this would be a way for me to validate whether this was a real service or a scam. They offered us a great price so I gave them my credit card and asked them to book it for my husband. When he checked out 2 days later the price were supposed to have been quoted and PAID for was $134.01. The hotel said they had no record of this and the room had not been paid for and there was no special rate. He then had to pay directly to the hotel a bill of $255!! I contact Melaine and Brian Danz and told them what happened and that I was not intereted in being a member for this club. I was mislead from the word go! From the "free" airline tickets to the inability to prove service was real to the botched hotel reservation at wholesale pricing. Even after I cancelled within my window of 10 days, this company and thier affiliate Travel Services LLC charged my credit card! I have been fighting with them ever since!!!! I had plans in Paris and have to change them. When we arrived at CDG Airport from Mexico City, our group of 15 people had to wait up to two hours to be picked up, even after making several calls. The next morning, our tour guide, Angela, seemed stressed and started yelling at us. That's not the way anyone should begin a vacation--being scolded by the guide. We took the "Hola Europa" tour, and I honestly don't recommend it. In the smaller cities, we only stopped for an hour or two at most--just enough time to stretch our legs, take a few pictures, and look for a bathroom. There was barely any time to explore. The driver, Petrov, and Luisa, our guide on the last day, were very kind and professional. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of miscommunication between Europamundo and the agencies that sell their tours. I booked through Sears, and in my opinion, it wasn't worth it.

But when I did not answer my phone he literally called me back-to-back 7 times within 4 minutes. There are way too many rules and hidden clauses within this package. I would advise you to just book a package on your own and not bother investing with them.
