They took a look at our needs and presented a quote with two options the same day as their visit. They even identified a rebate program that we qualified for. That's in addition to the Costco promo where you get a percentage of your purchase back as a Costco gift card. Completing all the paperwork and prep with Airmax was easy and they scheduled us for our installation. The installers showed up on time as schedule and completed the install quickly and professionally. We're super happy with our new heat pump and the service we received from Airmax. We're just waiting for Costco to send us our gift card which we should have in a couple of weeks.

The technician came, stayed for 15 minutes or so and simply told me the whole system needs replacement. His diagnostic didn't provide voltages test, whether the indoor motor fan or control board needed replacement. All he wrote was that he was unable to take measurement and that it 'looks' like there are multiple problems. Trying to sell me a new system that's twice what I paid 10 years ago. I regret ever calling them!

They installed a Dual Start capacitator for $225.00 and added 2 units of refridgerant for $170.00. My total bill was $1,143.94. A week later the air conditioner stopped working again. I called JCD to tell them and said that as they had just been there I shouldn't have to pay for the residential call again. They refused and said that it was probably a 'different' problem than the one they had repaired. I was not willing to spend another $400. on a company that would not guarantee their repairs, especially after only a week. I think this company overcharges and is dishonest. Stay away from them at all costs.
