I'm a big believer in getting to know your local officials and law enforcement. The folks at the city of Woodstock Public Works are super friendly and are always fun to chat with. I like to stop by here every so often to catch up on the latest news and to complain about our growing traffic problems in downtown Woodstock. Plus if you ever have any problems, they will help you or direct you to the right Department. Very handy people to know!

They had puzzles on the shelf and great area for kids to get used to the library and borrowing books. This time I attended a meeting in their meeting room. It was just right for a small group. But, I have to tell you, the chairs were most uncomfortable chairs I ever sat on. Restroom was clean and there was a snack machine in the lobby. Easy access to parking and beautiful surroundings. Staff was helpful.

The location is right off of 575 between Cumming Highway and Brown Industrial Parkway. Nearby businesses includes, GA department of Driver's Licence, Must Ministries and Cherokee County Juvenile Court. The library has a capacity of 110 people and is one of the larger libraries in the area. Only Pickens and Woodstock locations are larger. Some of the features includes over a dozen public computers for patrons with a current library card or a guest pass. They also have several tablets and laptops that you can sign out for in library use. Free wifi is also available. Just ask a librarian for the current password. One of the unique feature at this library that I've not seen in the other libraries is their jigsaw puzzle collection. They have a whole wall of puzzles that you can check out like you would a book that you might like to read. It's a great a idea for developing and sharpening one's cognitive skills. Wilkerson Construction Company, Inc. was hired to develop the land. The cemetery opened for interments on April 24, 2006 with space available for nearly 30,000 grave sites. It's extremely clean, well maintained and filled with beautiful structures of tributes. There is a restroom up front by the entrance so I suggest if you think you need to go then you should go then before you get on with your visit.... Not sure what the parking policies are but I was able to park on the side and walk around with not problems. I saw many people do the same as well....not sure when it gets busy but I came on a Sunday so it wasn't too crowded... THE WILD WILD WEST!…read more Since we were in the area, we decided to check out the Historic Downtown District of Acworth. Upon arrival, I realize that we are just in time for the classic cruise event which takes place approximately five times per year. The proceeds, (from participant registration), are used to support a local charity. These events are perfect for the classic car and truck enthusiast because there was an exceptional turnout of presenters and such a variety of vehicles. Historic Downtown Acworth was the perfect venue for hosting the cruise due to the cool nostalgic vibe from the train that runs along Main Street and the varied shops and restaurants housed in original restored buildings. It was really like taking a step back in time. The weather was great and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The downtown events are a great opportunity to bring residents together and welcome new visitors to the city. The city will be hosting A Taste of Acworth on Oct 17th from 10am until 6pm, so mark your calendars as this is sure to be a very popular event!

Four women proceed to finish their breakfast and talking first, before acknowledging me at the window, after standing there for 4 minutes. A women did come from the back, walk up to me to ask me if I needed any help. Commissioner Mastroserio should be aware of the lack of customer service when paying for her for job in the state of Ga, when her employees would rather just waste time getting a pay check first. Would like the Commissioner to have a dept. meeting to review the focus on the customer or finishing there food first.

The mill produced all sorts of textiles and yarns. The bridge is a much more modern addition, built by the Vickery Creek Unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, to join Old Mill Park to six miles of hiking trails. The bridge is pedestrian only and on the far side are staircases that go both down to the creek side and up to the hiking trails. While the mill side of the bridge is handicapped access (though the slope may be a challenge for wheelchair users to climb) and the bridge is smooth, the far side is absolutely not paved or even. Recently the government of city officials closed down all water access and boarded up the waterfall with a gate preventing anyone from coming in and there's also police station all around the park. If you ask me, someone has died over there or the water is contaminated with a disease and they are trying to prevent everyone from entering, and I have been coming here for one year constantly and it has never got this bad. If you are looking for a place to relax and not be bothered or you want to just simply be by water do not go here. It's a lot of more natural places around Atlanta also.
