UPDATE: I just got a text message warning me of a $25 late cancellation fee. So not only are they super shady they're probably going to try and steal more money from me for a fraudulent appointment that I never scheduled I can't trust All Care ever again. Today I got a completely random email from them about my appointment for tonight... in Georgia. I LIVE and am currently IN Arlington VA. I called the Arlington location around 1pm today to try and get some information before possibly booking a visit. On the call I gave the receptionist my information so she could look up my history/account but I never booked anything because they couldn't provide the service I needed at that location (x-ray). And then a few hours later I am booked for an appointment in Georgia? I don't know what's going on with them but beware they are extremely shady. Also, a couple years ago they charged me almost $400 for a specialist visit when I literally just walked into the clinic for a basic injury and saw the first doctor available. I got a bill from my insurance months later demanding the remaining balance for the alleged specialist consultation (not covered) that never happened. That was such an unbelievable headache to resolve. I think this is a thinly veiled criminal enterprise. read more

I think I have had it with this place. This is the 3rd time I am being turned down from here for urgent care. The reason? "We are overbooked and understaffed." I would believe that if the clinic is full of noise and waiting room is full of patients but the entire place was empty. Dr. Alisa Miller is my new Primary Care physician and I am thrilled. She is absolutely phenomenal. She listened to my list of concerns and addressed each one better than I could have hoped. She showed immense empathy and made a plan for my preventative care that included referrals and having blood drawn same-day within the practice. I'd recommend her to anyone and especially young adult women. read more

Been to two locations, both are consistently disappointing..Is it normal to wait one hour for a doctor with an appointment? If you value your time, this is not the place for you. Want to get meds? Do not expect the front desk to ever answer your call. I have been waiting for 2 weeks for my doctor to get back to me with results from a test I had done. I have tried calling the office every single day to talk to someone and they never pick up the phone. I had to make another appointment 2 weeks out to just talk to my doctor. I should not have to beg a doctor's office to give me results of tests I took per their recommendation. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will say that when I actually saw a doctor there she did have great bedside manner and was very attentive. I just wish it wasn't impossible to get in touch with anyone in that office. read more

For the love of Christ Do not route inbound calls to a call center, especially not with pre-set menu options. Absolute deal breaker I have just had, and am continuing to have, the worst prescription experience of my entire life, as a cancer survivor, because of the asinine decision to not give any way to contact the front desk directly I am having a bout of tinnitus, the doctor at all care quickly figured out what was wrong and wrote two prescriptions and (apparently) sent them in to CVS CVS says they don't have a prescription with my name on it, I have no idea if it's CVS's fault or AllCare's fault and it doesn't matter. no problem with a normal doctor, I call in to get the situation rectified but when I call in I get sent to a call center, with options that don't even apply to my problem, and when I get a call back from them it's clearly not anyone local to my area. They say they put in a follow up for a prescription but I don't know what that even means, CVS still doesn't have it. All Care closes at 2 on Sundays so the day is over. I get to sleep unmedicated. Next day, I walk into CVS to confirm they still don't have my prescription, they don't. I walk to Allcare and they print out the prescription, CVS can not take it because the signature is a copy, makes sense. They try to call AllCare but they're put on hold with the call center for over 10 minutes and just tell me to walk to All Care and have them call in the prescription. The doctor that saw me yesterday isn't in, so they give me another damned phone number that just routes to the call center and they can't help me. I am just trying to get my medicine, it is not my job to navigate AllCare's corporate bureaucracy. If you can't give me or my pharmacist a direct line to the front desk you should not be in business. read more

Came here today and was seen by Dr. Johnson. The two girls at the reception welcomed me right away. The office was clean with a pretty big waiting area. Honestly I didn't have to wait to be seen because I made an appointment online. I was a little apprehensive to come here due to all of the reviews on here but I was referred by my insurance company. I'm i stopped in because my experience was the complete opposite of all the reviews. The nurse, Dr. Johnson and the lab person were all friendly and were listening to my concerns. I got some labs done so I'll be waiting to hear back from them for that. They also sent my prescription over to the pharmacy and have already sent me a follow up email about my visit. I was very skeptical going here based on the reviews that are currently posted regarding this place. However, I had a good experience! I arrived and the staff helped me check-in. They told me exactly what I needed to know and informed me that the wait would be about 45 minutes to an hour. I sat in the waiting room - which is VERY large and has comfortable seating with a TV. I only waited about 15-20 minutes. The nurse took my vitals. Asked minimal questions (I feel like sometimes you want to save your questions for the doctor, but a nurse can really probe - sometimes in a public space, too.). The doctor came in soon there after and I was in and out in about 30 minutes total! Great experience and I'd definitely return. read more

This afternoon I had a doctor appointment at AllCare Family Medicine with Dr. Yasas Rodrigo in Arlington, VA. There is absolutely nothing worsethan a doctor who is cold, unpleasant, rushed, and emanating an aura of superiority. In my opinion, and MD who acts like this fully deserves a lower pay grade as opposed to one who genuinely cares, makes a patient feel comfortable, respected, and heard. I was a Paramedic for years before I started my own business, and I can count on one hand how many times I have dealt with a doctor this unprofessional. He has officially lost a patient. I rarely publish a complaint, but Dr. Rodrogo absolutely deserves one. read more

After the experience I had today I will never visit an AllCare office again. They clearly do not provide adequate coverage for call-outs and should not offer immediate care as part of their services. After I was turned away from one of their locations in DC, I tried to call this office to confirm if they were taking walk ins and couldn't get anyone on the phone, which was surprising because when I walked in there were two receptionists who told me right away they were "short staffed" and couldn't take me. Don't offer urgent care services when you haven't appropriately staffed your offices. read more

I went to Allcare twice because it's within walking distance of my home (I don't have a car). The first time, I saw Dr. James Leggett in urgent care for a yeast infection (he was the only doctor available that day). He was unprofessional enough to say "Well this is going to be awkward" -- not to me directly, but in the hallway to a woman receptionist, before he entered my exam room. It made me feel queasy and put me on guard. The second time, I saw Dr. Andrea Aliaga Quijada for a physical. When I first walked in, the woman receptionist sounded like she had a terrible cold because she was coughing wildly. If I heard a coworker with such a cough, I would tell them to go home immediately. It made me wonder why she felt compelled to come to work that day (in a medical office nonetheless), and why nobody sent her home. Dr. Quijada and Joseph, a nurse, were professional and listened to my responses/questions. When I went to get bloodwork done, Mohammad, the phlebotomist, stuck the needle in my arm vein and it hurt a lot. This would've been an acceptable mistake had he not bragged the entire time about how experienced and skilled he was. I've included a picture here of how bad my arm looks from that stick, six days after. Overall -- not the worst office but there seems to be a big disparity between quality of service provided. I'd like to see Dr. Quijada and Joseph again in the future but I'm scared to, due to the unprofessionalism (and painful blood drawings) that seems to pervade the office. read more

I want this clinic last week. They were extremely busy and said my wait could be 2 hours. They said you book an appointment online but they were booked the rest pf the day. However, they were thoughtful and looked at their Ballston clinic and said that clinic had multiple afternoon openings. BTW, you can also schedule Virtual Visits with this company. Very easy to do. I ended up driving to their Tysons clinic that had a lot of openings. I booked an appointment, saw the Doctor immediately and was out within 20 minutes with a prescription. Highly recommend this company, their processes and automations were very efficient. read more

My wife broke her finger during a flag football game and we went to the Courthouse AllCare before they had closed. As my wife was about to open the door, a staff member shut and locked the door in her face saying they were not taking any more walk-ins and were closing early. My wife was visibly upset and rightfully so as she had just broken her finger and the closest urgent care clearly had no intention of helping her. We will no longer be using AllCare and will not be recommending their services. read more

I showed up as soon as the urgent care opened at 8 am, and was the first walk in. The receptionist estimated a wait of 45 to 2 hours, and after 2 hours of waiting, she could not even give me an estimate time of how much longer I would wait. They have zero spots for walk in appointments, and were not able to accommodate a single walk in for hours. This is more like a doctors office than an urgent care and I would not recommend coming within an appointment. read more

In the past 6 months with Allcare I have experienced the following, in chronological order: -A doctor who made a pregnancy joke about my weight -Only given 1 of 2 referrals when leaving the office, then was promised they would be emailed to me (they weren't) -Wasn't told to fast before a test and had to make a second appointment (and was allowed to sit in the waiting room for a while *after* I told them I wasn't fasting) -Called to ask for results the day after I was told by the technician to expect them, they said they couldn't contact the doctor and offered me no help. I got a call from that doctor about two weeks later at 9pm on Saturday -Office didn't supply proper documentation to the insurance company for tests ordered by the doctor, called repeatedly to reach someone (through their ridiculous phone tree, where you can't call the office directly, and 20% of the time no one answers) -- never once received a return call This was the last straw and I finally gave up and switched to another practice, and I am so glad I did. The difference in the level of service is just night and day. Please don't waste your time with any Allcare office, find a practice that has any semblance of patient-centered care. read more

I actually had a pleasant experience at this location. I was having severe chest congestion with my asthma and the front desk staff (I believe her name was Brittney) was very professional and they even helped me find a nearby pharmacy to fill my prescription. (My regular pharmacy was closed after 6pm). There were quite a few people waiting but everyone was seen in a timely manner. Dr. Rodrigo was very thorough and knowledgeable. Not sure how about the other reviews on here but I had absolutely no issues. read more

No way do I recommend this place. I was coming here for 4 years and get a different Dr each time. I tolerated it till I went in for my annual 3 months ago. Now they tell me to refill prescriptions, one that I have been taking for 20 years and one who was prescribed by Drs at All Care for 4 years, I need follow ups. I absolutely refuse. I can't stand Yelp because it allows ridiculous comments, but AllCare has always been efficient, kind and professional. As long as you pre-register, there are rarely long waits. Deceptive surprise billing. I made an appointment for routine preventative care blood work. The clinic never told me I'd have to pay a new patient fee, and was charged $220! Completely predatory. Services are also very unprofessional. I had to wait 30 min upon arrival despite having an appointment. My lab technician only drew 3 tubes of blood instead of the required four, so I had to come in the following day, yet again. read more

After waiting on-line for 20 minutes beyond my appointment time, the office phoned me from a different line to tell me they would , not have a provider speak to me/honor my appoiment. The person I was speaking to kept speaking over me when I attempted to explain my situation and refused to listen (this had happened on a prior visit-they start shouting answers before you can conplete a sentence. They insisted that I had refills left (I did not-they called CVS to verify), stated I had not been there in over a year (untrue-I was seen there about 6 months ago), stated that I needed to go to prior provider on my script (Um, prior PCP retired they are now my PCP per my insurance, so they would be the appropriate place to have prescription refilled (that I have been on for over 20 years) for a chronic condition. And still more excuses why they would not help me. They suggested I call my insurance company and change my primary care provider They are rude and sarcastic, and failed to provide basic healthcare. (Last time I was there the office staff was literally rolling their eyes at me.)They like to tell you that they cannot help you and clearly have no concern for patients. They twsit themselves in knots NOT to provide healthcare. And them are surprised that you are fed up with them. Then they sent me a visit summary stating I was a "no show". The way this place treats patients is a disgrace and what is wrong with primary healthcare in the DMV. read more

TLDR: Allcare employs poorly informed, negligent providers and their billing system allows providers to bill deceptively at the patient's expense. If I could give less than a star I would. I sought care through allcare twice and will never go back. My experiences: First visit: I went in for a routine physical and blood work. I work in healthcare and have a known genetic condition. When I asked my provider (a DO) for a specific blood test related to my condition, she first told me she didn't know what I was talking about. When I made it clear that I was familiar with my own condition, she said, "oh, that's like, an old thing doctors don't really test for anymore." This is the exact opposite of ACC heart health guidelines, which for years now have advised increased testing for this condition. Additionally, when all my tests came back, it was found I had low vitamin D. No biggy. However, in her care notes, she prescribed me 20,000 IU, as opposed to a standard 2,000. When I pointed out this huge discrepancy, her response was "oh oops you're right just tak 2,000"... Thankfully this was just for a vitamin dosage, but IMAGINE a provider that ACCIDENTALLY prescribed 10x the recommended dose of a medication because they couldn't be bothered to proofread their own care instructions. Again, if I didn't work in healthcare, I'd have no reason to catch this mistake. Second "visit": I had a standard, non-covid flu, but can't take decongestants because I'm allergic. I made a telehealth appointment through my allcare account to speak to a provider about medications to alleviate my symptoms. After waiting 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment, I had a 10 minute conversation with a physician. However, when I got the bill, it was $229. Looking at the bill, I realized two reasons for the increased charge: 1. I was given a "mental health" evaluation. This is an evaluation that is standard for telehealth post covid, but a) I did not ask for this assessment and b) IF I received said assessment, I have no idea when. Maybe at some point the doctor asked me if "I was ok" or if "I was depressed," but it was such an insignificant part of our conversation that I don't even recall it happening, and would have opted out were I given an informed choice. Clearly the physician just tacking on another billing code. 2. It turns out the physician I chose based on his availability - even after disclosing that I lived Virginia and booked through allcare's portal which generally takes my insurance - was located in Maryland, and my appointment was billed as out of network. I tried to dispute both charges but was told it is my responsibility at the patient to know if the physician I'm seeing takes my insurance - again, even though it was a totally virtual telehealth appointment that does not clearly inform you at the time of booking if the doctor's practice is in or out of network. Congrats if you made it this far, and I hope you find better care. read more

Do not go to this location. The staff is not well trained nor do they place any discernible value on patient care. While I liked the doctor that I was seeing, on every visit/attempted visit, something went wrong - trouble making appointment, long wait times, inability to access records, and the last straw....I went for blood work and the nurse/tech said she did not feel comfortable doing it - I will never understand how you send someone to draw blood and they say they are not comfortable doing! Great urgent care! Book appointments online and normally you can see someone within a few days. The staff is really friendly and understanding. Urgent cares in the dc area can be really stressful due to long wait times and lots of people in the waiting room. When I'm at AllCare there is usually no one in the waiting room and booking the appointment ahead of time relieves the stress of not knowing when you'll be seen. Highly recommend! read more

I booked an appointment here on Zoc Doc even though this is nowhere near me, but I felt lucky to have found a same day appointment with a female doctor who is older than me, which I prefer - hey, we all have our criteria. ;-) I left work early and trekked to Arlington only to get the bait and switch. Apparently, this doctor does not work at that location. The receptionist offered for me to see the only doctor there, a much younger man. I declined and she canceled the appointment. No apologies, no sorry you came all this way, sorry we didn't call to advise you that your doctor would be different - even though we had your phone number. Nada. I'm almost glad the doctor wasn't in. As is often the case in DC, the doctors are good but their staff...not so much. read more

I had a really poor experience, and will not be going back. I had gone in to get a swelling checked on my finger, as a possible bite from a wasp or bee. The affected area was also paining. The doctor decided to cut open the swelling (to drain the pus) in the absence of numbing the finger. The clinic was out of numbing spray. It was extremely painful, and I couldn't bear the pain. The doctor then decided to use a needle to apply anesthesia. The insertion of the needle in the impacted area was extremely painful, and I told the doctor I was very light headed and may pass out. She asked the nurse to get some OJ. Apparently, they were out out of juice / sugar as well. Incompetent doctors, and not a well equipped clinic. Take your healthcare needs elsewhere. read more

They billed me $405.00 for absolutely doing nothing. I don't usually do yelp reviews but this place has me son angry. I had walked in on a Saturday with some concerns. I saw PA Andre Aliaga for 1 minute. She said she could run tests but I would they results for 5-7 days. She said if I was concerned and wanted results sooner, I should go to emergency room. So, I decided I'd go to emergency room instead. I didn't mind the $35.00 copay or the $54.00 weekend service charge. However, I got a bill later for $405.00 additional which says it was for Evaluation and management. I saw her for 1 minute and she did absolutely nothing. I keep try calling to get an explanation and they keep transferring me to other offices. They told me a manager would call me back which never happened. I would never go there again as I feel like that was the most bogus bill I've ever received. read more

He has zero bedside manner and touts a year of psychiatry training...I would assume to learn to treat his self-serving arrogant narcissistic personality and not to tackle any challenge that the practice may present. First words out of his mouth, his name and "what can I do for you"? The company misrepresented their services and the doctor's ability to help my daughter. He was not able and willing to listen, help and provide a plan and/or any referral to a specialist who would be able to help. I would beware of this practice and doctor...I woukd recommend you look elsewhere for medical care. I take a prescription medication that I needed a refill for. Since my primary doctor (Lindsey Cotten), left All Care, they forced me to make a new appointment with Dr. Jody Cousins, which literally took less than 4 minutes on Zoom! There was no examination or anything else. I believe it is All Care's fault that my primary Dr. left and they had to give me a new one to get my prescription back. My bill for the 4 min Zoom meeting was $300, which insurance covered $175 and I am left with $125. This is OUTRAGEOUS! read more
