Horrible, fraudulent, and deceptive company. Was seen twice here in 2023 for routine care. I called them a month ago to schedule another appointment (annual physical) and made sure to check on their in network status before scheduling, and was reassured that the provider I was being scheduled with was indeed in network and that this practice accepted my insurance. Two days before my appointment, I started getting a bunch of texts from my insurance company, indicating that they were out of network. When I called to check on this, the representative on the phone told me that he really wasn't sure I canceled my appointment and hope to never deal with these people again. I went to Allcare Columbia for an appointment in March for a bronchitis flare up. It took an hour wait even with appointment, but the consult was less than 10 minutes (5 of that with the nurse who checked my weight and oxygen). The doctor didn't prescribed enough steroids for my bronchitis so I messaged via the portal after 5 days but was then told that the doctor had left the practice for good?? Within a week of my visit?? And they refuse to prescribe more unless I see another doctor there again which means more copay... wow. Why can't they use the same notes as my visit from a week ago? I've been here years ago and seems like the doctor turnover is pretty high. I had trusted this place but after this ordeal I'm truly reconsidering. This practice seems very money hungry and uncaring about the health of their patients. I uploaded a picture of my previous treatment Rx (from one of their doctors) to show I was mistreated and they still don't care. Made a walk-in to have a family member be seen for an injured foot. We were excited that the waiting area was empty. We were called in to register and were told there was no X-Ray capability at this location. HEY!!!! I have an idea, put that on your website. Then I wouldn't have gone elsewhere. If you answered the phone, that could work too. So AllCare you get one star for letting me think that you were going to be that Urgent Care office that was going to do me proud, instead, you sent me on my way to find that needle in a haystack. Registered online for a school sports physical. Drove an hour only to have them say that they couldn't see a minor because they don't have a pediatric specialist in the office. Then had both the receptionist and the staff nurse lie and say that they had tried to call, but that my voicemail was full. Of course, my voicemail wasn't full. And there were no missed calls. I was looking for a new primary care physician because mine had retired. I know that my health issues require someone who listens and can help guide my continued progress. I did two other quick appointments with doctors outside of AllCare and then decided to do one final virtual appointment with Marguerite Summers, MD. I knew from our first conversatio that she would be perfect. I appreciated her approach and active listening. Her questions were pointed and allowed the appointment to move quickly but with purpose. I was able to make quick follow up appointment to do a physical and again, perfect appointment and a very small wait time. They also have a lab on premise, which is very convenient!!!! Terrible staff. Could not even connect with a Dr. and wasted hours of my time! I am new to the area and just need a new Primary Dr. and to refill some prescriptions. First, they allowed me to book an appointment with a Dr. Gray, which my friend had referred me to.. Then at the appointment time, the link didn't work and when I called they said she was on Vacation. Seriously? The reception was completely inept, kept losing my insurance card I sent and uploaded, along with my ID. Made a new appointment for today, and the link didn't work. Instead said they didn't have my insurance info. When I called, they transferred me to the wrong location. Finally someone on chat got a call back from a Dr for me, but another poorly trained dim-wit phone receptionist started explaining that they don't take my insurance, and a COVID test was $200. I never said I wanted a COVID test! Have not experienced this level of ineptitude and incompetency in years and would not trust my health to this company EVER! read more

I've been coming here for over a year because I like my doctor (Dr. Summers), but I've had consistently poor experiences with the front desk staff with them not answering the phone, general unhelpfulness, and abrasiveness. In my last visit, the one assistant, Shakira, was rude beyond words. She was on the verge of yelling at me because she didn't like the way I was answering questions and refused to help with the check-in process, saying to "just figure it out! Click the links!" The customer service is abysmal and this was just the last straw for me. I wish Dr. Summers would transfer to another practice, but until then, I will not be back here and I would not recommend anyone else come here. read more

I walked in March 3, 2024 9:30. They opened at 9. Walked to the desk and the receptionist just looked at me and said- Hi. So I tell her why I'm there and she says - Okay...? Like a question. Like, why are you telling me this? Then silence. Then after an awkward pause- Do you have an appointment? I said no, she said to scan a qr code and go to the waiting room. I did that. Twice. The site says my info doesn't match an appointment in the system and there's nowhere to go from there. It kicks you out. So back to the receptionist to show her the message I'm getting and ask if there's another way to sign in since I don't have an appointment, so my info wouldn't match one. She just said- That's weird. And told me to go to a different urgent care. I asked if this has happened to other patients and she said- Sometimes. I asked if there's another way to sign in and she said-No. Like absolutely no empathy that they are supposedly a walk in urgent care but someone who needed help can't actually walk in and get care. I decided the level of service was unacceptable and asked to have my copay refunded because I was leaving (after waiting for over an hour). It took 20 minutes to get my account credited. PLEASE go to a different place. I personally recommend ouch urgent care located in Elkridge but needed an appointment asap so I booked with AllCare. I knew exactly what antibiotic I needed but she would not give me the prescription! She kept saying it was allergies and prescribed me with allergy meds. On top of all this, they changed my in person appointment to a telemedicine but then I waited almost 40 minutes for her to show up...Her name is Maria Munoz. Terrible fucking service. I have been coming to Allcare for years now. The first time I discovered it was when I was trying to find somewhere last minute for my sister's sport physical. After that, I came several times with family members for minor things like strep and colds. My visits were always very quick and everyone there is very nice. But the ultimate BEST experience was about two weeks ago when my brother sliced his finger on the lawn mower blade. We went to Patient First in Columbia and after signing in and doing everything, the PA there said she could not do the stitches because it was too deep and something about needing double layer stitches and said we had to go to the ER.... that was exactly what we were trying to AVOID!! So it was Friday evening and we walked into the ER and the waiting room was packed and there was this other man who had a laceration who looked like he had been sitting there for hours. After waiting for 15 min we decided to try AllCare. I did NOT want to spend my friday night in the ER until 3AM just for stitches. We went and Dr Kim (previously a HCGH ER doc) easily did the stitches and we were in and out in like 20 minutes.. and i was able to still go out Friday night afterwards :] Would definitely recommend Allcare for those who want to avoid the ER at all costs and for quick walk-in visits with no appt! read more

Dr. Summers is a doctor who likes to deceive patients of color. She told my spouse to come in for an appointment and then refused to help him with a minor issue. She is rude and nasty, especially when I saw her earlier this year. She is unethical and wants to charge people for visits that she never completed. She loves to waste people's time and money. She is discriminatory towards people with disabilities and people of color. Shame on you, Dr. Summers. You lost your sense of care and bedside manners. Take the time to listen to your patients and care for them. She is dismissive when you bring up a concern and wants to brush it off, so she won't have to deal with it. read more

Avoid this practice at all cost! Unqualified nurse practitioners, not even doctors on site! Terrible communication from Sharon Price, NP. I am a healthy individual with no significant medical issues. I needed a surgery clearance for a kidney stone scope scheduled in three days. First, their pulse ox did not register correctly with different readings each time. Then the required EKG showed a possible abnormality. Sharon gave me a referral to a cardiologist and I told her I would make an appointment. Everybody knows that specialist like cardiologist schedule months out. I left the appointment with the understanding she would send the preop clearance to the surgeon. Only to find out the next day, she would not clear me for the surgery until after the cardiology appointment. OMG, I have a kidney stone! It hurts! That is why I have a surgery scheduled in three days, I cannot live like this for months. She said herself she does not have the qualifications to clear me with a possible abnormal EKG. Again, terrible communication, unprofessional practice as I attempted to obtain information about what was happening with the clearance. Go to a real doctor! read more

Surprisingly there was a very short wait (very different from the others places I have been). The doctor (I was seen by Dr Kim) was very knowledgable. Never dealing with these people ever again. They are so unorganized and their system always glitches. I set an appointment for a virtual visit and the link they sent me didnt work. I called and they couldnt figure it out so they made me another virtual appointment, bumping me to a later time. Come appointment time, the link says they are running behind and it keeps disconnecting. I waited and tried the link multiple times for more than an hour passed the appointment time and i was never seen. The next day i made another appointment for a virtual visit. At this point I changed my mind and walked in instead because i dont want to deal with their technical issues again. They refused to see me as a walk in and made me wait until my appointment time, which is beyond ridiculous as they were seeing people who walked in after me. And they were sending other people away to a different location if they have cough and flu like symptoms. Seriously whats the point of this location if people wont get seen. read more

This is a very efficient and effective urgent care office. They have a very simple website to schedule either telemedicine appointments or in person appointments. I appreciated the simple telemed appointment process, as a new patient it was simple to take a picture of my drivers license and insurance cards and hit upload. The scheduling software texted me immediately with the link to for the appointment. My meeting with Dr Maria Munoz was professional and she offered good advice and wasted no time on ordering prescriptions to help me. Very bad!! From the minute I walked in the door it was bad. This is every single time u went there. The girl at the front desk (Chinese) she is very rude. I can't believe how they would have someone like that work there. Well it's probably her family's place. There is also a guy sometimes at the front desk and he is the same way. She throws your ids on the counter instead of giving them to you. She mumbles stuff under her breath. Now Dr duke is a fake doctor. He comes in the room and you tell him you have a bad cough he says ok walks out and gives you medicine. Never talks to you never takes him time. He is old he needs to retire. I showed my confirmation and was told that there are no appointments available, there are no more walk-ins, and the third party booking app makes this mistake often. I booked an appt. online for 4p to get my son's physical exam for sports because he needed it by Monday before he can start playing football. I get there right at 4pm and thinking having an appt would be an advantage. Nope. Not 15 mins, nor 30 nor even 60 minutes to be seen. An hour and a half and this is WITH an appt. So not only was I already irritated with having to wait so long , which I tried hard to hold my composure, the dr finally comes in and tells me "we don't do pediatric exams, you should contact your son's pediatrician to do this." I have and they said they couldn't get me in until the end of the month and I need this form filled by Monday. "Well, I'm sorry but I have to wait for your pediatrician to sign off on this before I can." You mean I just waited an hour and a half for you to just turn me down? Your receptionist couldn't ask me in the beginning what I was there for. I even looked online prior to making an appt and it stated that the facility does physical exams. Maybe that should be emphasized that it doesn't apply to children. Maybe the name "AllCare Family Medicine" should be changed as well. I've worked in the medical field now for about 12 years and I understand some patients may not be seen right away. I understand the logistics of making sure you protect your license . I understand all of that. However , might I make some suggestions? 1. Receptionist should check first at all times to see the purpose of your visit and to make sure it is part of your practice 2. There needs to be some sort of system where you don't have patients who book an appointment wait for an hour and a half. It's unacceptable. Maybe let the patient know that there will be a wait , give an estimated time, send a text , or something . What is the point of making an appointment if you still have to wait that long? I only went here because it was 5 minutes from my house. However , never again. I hope this facility will make a note of these issues and that it will be addressed to avoid further inconveniences in the future with other patients. I don't recommend this office to anyone who might be looking for a primary care physician, although they might be ok for urgent care in a pinch. The kid (he looked like a high schooler, and was dressed like one) who took my vitals had NO idea what he was doing. He couldn't manage the manual weight scale or the blood pressure device. The med tech had to do the measurements over. I also wasn't impressed by the fact that my vitals, reason for being there, history, etc. was written on blank printing paper instead of some sort of intake sheet. Completely disorganized. Do not go there!!! I called right after I made an online appointment if my insurance was straight before I get to the office. The rep on the phone was like everything is good to go. But at the office very rude receptionist told me they don't take my insurance and middle of the conversation she was starting to talk on her cell phone. I was new to the area so I tried to give a chance. So I waited to see the doctor. Doctor was just like in and out like she just didn't care. After I was prescribe the ulcer medication for my nausea, the instruction was to take one in the morning. Couple hours later, I was not feeling well so I called the office to try to find out if I can take the medication right away. I was told that the doctor was seeing the patient and they will call back as soon as she finished. 3 hours later no call. I called again exactly same answer. 2 more hours I couldn't take it anymore that I went to ER. They gave me the different diagnosis and prescribe med for food poisoning. Immediate relief. 10 days later I received the letter from this place that they can no longer see me since they are not equip to handle my condition. They didn't do nothing for me anyways. I had no intention to go back there. read more

Came here off the reviews on google and yeah who would have thought an Urgent Care experience would be great. I arrived today (Sunday) at around 9:45 am and they let me in, even though opening hours didn't begin until 10:00 am. I was able to get my form started and pay, etc. The waiting room was very nice and super clean, a calming environment. Then I was off to the back for my solution to this banging ear ache. I was literally with a Doctor, had meds called in Rite Aid in a 25 minute period. Could this be possible? I didn't even open up my book that I brought to prepare myself for a long wait. The Doctor and staff here are very capable and professional. Actually probably even better than my primary care office. Give this place a try the next time you have non life threatening illness, especially on a weekend! read more

I have tremors so it is hard for me to get around! I had a virtual appointmentment today but the doctor continously cut me off when I speaking! She informed me of information I did not request. The only reason she did that was because she was not listening! I asked to speak her manager, and she informed me her manager was the office manager! I don't know how an office manager can be a PA manager. I thought a PAs manager would be a senior manager. Another thing that confused me she wore a face mask while on a virtual appointment. I barley understoodrstood the information she was trying to convey to me! I dont believe this PA understands diversity, sociology or genterfication! I went to the Columbia location. The front end receptionist refused my insurance so I paid cash ($135) for the visit. (That's what you do when you are ill and need treatment) I then submitted the bill to my health carrier for reimbursement. My health carrier then paid AllCare directly. They were paid twice and did not notify me of this until I called to inquire 2 months later. Yolika in billing (410-480-9110) who advised that I could expect a refund within 2-3 weeks (which was 3 months since initial visit). Due to the unethical billing, I have no trust In This provider. They have proven to me that they are just a billing mill. You have been warned. Stay away!! read more

Allcare because they truly CARE! I had a visit on January 6. I was scared, nervous and worried but after my visit I was reassured and felt immediately at peace. I was taken care of upon entry and seen quickly especially for being a walk-in and arriving 20 minutes before closing. The staff was truly kind and considerate. The nurse was personable and accurate. Dr.Mary Mitchell was a gem! She made me feel at peace and relaxed. She was truly amazing. She cares about her patients. She ordered all the labs I needed and made sure I had everything I needed. I accompanied my daughter to AllCare IN Columbia at noon today. She and I both had to take time off from our work for this visit. A nice man checked her in and she was taken back to a room. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, we enquired when she would be seen. Well surprise surprise, their doctor had not shown up for his shift yet. How can you run an urgent care and not tell your patients that you do not have a doctor? This place is so poorly run and it was an enormous waste of time for us. Doctor was only in the room for about 2 minutes and was able to determine what was going on quickly however when I asked him a few questions he said verbatim "You can google it". Sure, I can google it - however you're a medical professional I am paying for this visit. Also, I could clearly hear conversations other patients were having in adjacent rooms - no privacy.
