The reviews for this place are TERRIBLE so I was skeptical. After going in for my annual physical, I can say it was horrible. Setting up an appointment online, checking in once there, and service were good. I literally waited one minute before the doctor saw me. (And there are outlets for your phone and devices on every seat in the very clean waiting room.) The staff taking my vitals and the actual doctor weren't overly friendly, but personable enough. I recently had an annual physical exam that I filled out everything for online. My in-person visit in its entirety was less than 5 minutes. My provider asked me about a chronic condition and refilled a medication for me. I was charged for a PE AND a regular office visit. My usual copays are low for primary care visit. When I asked why I was charged this amount, I was told that I was out-of-network. Why would I go OON for what I believed was an annual PE? When I inquired more, I was then told it was in-network and that I have a ridiculously large bill for the way it was billed for a regular visit on top of a PE. My insurance is great through my employer so why would I review a chronic condition that I can just follow my specialist for. So now I am stuck paying a bill for a chronic condition that I would normally get cheaper management at a specialist office. Healthcare is incredibly deceptive, and this practice is also that way. read more

Avoid like the plague. I had a question for PA Zakaryan before my appointment and he rudely stated "I don't understand the point of this call, take care" and hung up on me. When he came in for my appointment I respectfully asked for an apology for hanging up on me and he immediately told me he wouldn't see me and I had to leave. Not only was he rude, condescending, and didn't even attempt to see what care I needed, he lied in his report of the incident. Went for urgent care 3x in 2 weeks. At 2 visits in navy Yard Was prescribed 3 different antibiotics for a viral infection. Initially they didn't know that but even after my bacteria culture came back negative I was advised to continue antibiotics and was given stronger ones when they didn't work. Landed in the ER due to complications and was told the antibiotics probably worsened symptoms. Then I had new symptoms and went to the one in van Ness for a same day appt. Receptionist was incredibly rude and lacked compassion and Dr was dismissive, impatient, and rude. I felt gaslight and overwhelmed when I was simply seeking reassurance I wasn't getting worse. I probably won't be returning here for primary or emergency care in the future (I'm never the type to leave bad reviews but this was not ok ) read more

The lady (Nurse) at Allcare near Tysons VA had given me a shot very harshley and didn't even know how to draw blood. She claimed I was dehydrated which is why she can't pull blood. She saw me drink a coffee cup. That is the most ridiculous thing ever. She had no idea how to draw blood. To make it worse, the shot area as paining daily and pained for more than 30 days. Turns out, it got infected and I had to got to ER. This is 2nd All care site I been to and its as bad as first. If I was lawyer I probably would have held them some level of financial accountable. My appointment started off fine--easy scheduling, and I waited until there was a day with an 8a appointment available. When I showed up, the front desk person wasn't there yet, but one of the lab techs took my info & took me back within a few minutes. A couple of minutes later, an NP comes in, but it's not the one I scheduled with whom I had previously seen. Turns out that NP never works that early, but they continue to put him on the schedule. This should have been the first indication that this location can't handle any admin work properly. Anyhow, appointment is good and routine but important bloodwork is ordered. After it gets ordered, I hear one of the lab techs tell the NP that they can't print off labels because they've never been given access to do that (but the front desk person can?). Regardless they come in to do my labs, and I'm out the door working 25-30 minutes. So far, just a few hiccups, but nothing terrible. However...It's been a week since my appointment, and my labs still haven't been posted to my account. These are 24-48 hour labs at most. I have tried to contact the office 3 times in 2 different ways...ghosted. At this point, I have no faith they ever even got my labs sent in properly due to the label printing issue. I booked an appointment for those island Ave and then someone from Bethesda location called at 9:30 am 1 hour prior my original schedule that my appointment had been transferred to H street location and they told me my appointment stays at 10:30 still. Avoid this place like the plague. I saw Dr. Chekuri based off her decent reviews on zocdoc as I was looking for a convenient PCP nearby. Dr. Chekuri was incredibly condescending, even going so far as to belittle her more mature colleagues in the office who were "too old school." I asked for a lipid panel (very standard bloodwork done during an annual physical) and she basically scoffed at it. Dr. Chekuri needs to humble herself and realize she doesn't actually know everything about everything. On top of all of this, my physical lab work, which is covered 100 percent by insurance was coded incorrectly by this office and I have spent an obscene amount of time trying to rectify the matter between this office, my insurance, and labcorp. Save yourself the time and annoyance of this place and go literally anywhere else. read more

I made an appointment three weeks in advance to see Dr. Harris. My appointment was at 2:00. I confirmed ahead of the appointment. I arrived at 2:05. They let me check and wait 20 minutes for the doctor to then tell me I was a no show. I get that I was late, but 5 minutes? Come on. I will never go back to that place. When I arrived at the clinic, there was no receptionist. The nurse took me to the examination room promptly, and the process was swift. Dr. Dinna was also efficient. However, during the blood withdrawal, the nurse was very rude and not careful at all. When I went to the front desk to check out, the receptionist never made eye contact with me and simply said, 'You can leave.' About 10 minutes later, I received a call from them, informing me that I needed to return for another blood withdrawal because the first attempt did not yield enough blood for the exam. Furthermore, my blood test results were never shared with me or sent via email. Dr. Dinna had scheduled a follow-up appointment in two months, but they never reached out to remind me. My name is Michael C and I recently had a physical check up with Dr. Degache at the Lorton location. He was so friendly, so knowledgeable and professional about addressing my health. He started by listening to my health history and then he placed the orders for different x-rays and now I'm waiting for results to come back. Dr. Degache wants to do a follow-up in order to compare test results and plan of actions . Yes, I am very thankful for Dr. Degache. He is a very thorough doctor who goes above and beyond then what is expected from a standard first time visit. He is very patient and takes out the time to explain and provide feedback whether it is in person or a question I texted to him in my portal review. Doctor Degache responded back right away. That says a lot about him...He is truly caring and despite his busy schedule with back to back patient visits, Dr. Degache F. still managed to respond back promptly. I am one of his new patients and I highly recommend him to any patients who needs a caring doctor that not only takes out his time to listen, but he also makes a difference. read more

Receptionist said doc might not be able to see us because we'd exceeded 15 minute window (what 15 min. window?). Receptionist said she couldnt complete form. I asked for supervisor - none on premises, I'd have to EMAIL her. Receptionist called home office because she didn't know the site password (which also didn't work). I absolutely love Dr. Benda here but I am certain there is a problem with reception. I need the office to call in my medication to my pharmacy every month, and they seem to always blow it off. Last month, when my medication was due for refill, I called every day for a week and couldn't get a refill until I made an appointment with Dr. Benda to tell him personally. I paid a $30 co-pay out of pocket that never should have been necessary. I went without my medication for a week. I was upset, but I chalked it up to a miscommunication. This month, I called again on the day I needed a refill-- nobody called me back when I left a message on the dedicated prescription refill line. I called twice more, opting to speak to a receptionist-- the first time, the phone rang until it went to voicemail. The second time, someone picked up the phone and hung up immediately. I don't know what to do or how to get my medication now. I love Dr. Benda but the office admin team is preventing me from getting care. I might need to find another PCP down here outside of AllCare. Update: Absolutely do not make AllCare your provider, at any location. They just changed their policy without notice. Their policy now requires that you must make an appointment for ANY prescription refill. You have to physically come in or book a virtual appointment with your doctor whenever they happen to be available (and pay your copay!) in order to get your medication. So not only will you likely not get your medication on time because it depends on when the doctors and when you are available for an appointment, but you'll also have to shell out copays every month to do this. Don't use AllCare under any circumstances. read more

I had an appointment for 12:30 and sat and waited until 12:45 to be taken into a suite. I was asked a few questions and then told to wait for the doctor who allegedly had one patient ahead of me. At 1:45, I came out and asked the people that worked there what time I would be seen. They told me there were TWO patients ahead of me, even though my appointment was over an hour before I went and asked. Obviously I left and they told me I could reschedule which I politely declined. Only one person that I saw that worked in the office (not the doctor) was wearing scrubs. The rest were wearing sweatpants. They were also playing music out loud. If I could give negative stars. Somebody in this place is breaking the law I'm sure of it. It's a cover for something much more sinister because they don't give EDamn about patient care. Or people period. I chose this doctor as my primary care provider because I live upstairs. Big mistake. I remember having to go down and speak to their contractors personally for starting work before 7 AM breaking DC ordinances. Me desperate for a convenient PCP thought many contractors do their own thing. But no, I waited an hour 15 minutes for my first virtual appointment. I had to beg the lady for the medication that I know I need for my condition, but she pulled that doctor knows best and prescribe me a bunch of junk that did not help. I had to beg them for a follow up appointment, so once again beg for the medication that I know I need from my medical history. they sent me a bill for $15 which was not a co-pay but rather some other expense with no explanation. I requested explanation, the lady said she didn't know and asked for partial payment for me to keep my appointment. This being my Second request for an explanation I ask to please be seen today because I need help. She said not if I don't pay. I can't WAIT TO TELL CAREFIRST why they shouldn't be included in patient centered PCP options. If you have a protocol that says balances must be paid in order to deliver care, have billing around during open hours as not to delay service provision. For $15 that I was this close to putting on my Rewards card (not even my money). She had every digit but CVV before I remembered they hadn't responded with the billing explanation. read more

Truly truly horrific experience. Looked like the facility had not been cleaned in weeks. I was told to wait in the waiting room and within minutes saw a live cockroach crawl across the floor. I reported it to the two-person staff who both said that it wasn't their problem. The patient rooms were equally unkempt, the medical equipment did not appear sanitized, and I was grateful I was just in to re-up a preexisting prescription. When I told the doctor I would not be coming back, she told me that it was her last day and she was so excited to be quitting. Please go anywhere other than here. read more

Not a true urgent care or walk-in clinic. I walked in yesterday because I had been feeling ill for several days. At the front desk, after I described my symptoms, the receptionist told me that AllCare would not see me since some of my symptoms might be 'COVID related'. She suggested that I go to an ER. There is nothing obvious on the website to indicate that the clinic will refuse service to anyone with potential 'Covid related' symptoms. Today I am going to an urgent care center that does not discriminate based upon potential 'Covid related' symptoms. I just had the worst experience at the H Street location. The receptionist is cruel. She was yelling at people on the phone when I arrived for wasting her time. She rolled her eyes at me for me simply and politely asking if she would scan my insurance card (which she never asked for). She did not know any basic office procedures and was generally an angry person. Why would a company hire someone with no experience and who is mean to patients? I give the overall place due to the receptionist 0 stars. However, my doctor was amazing and I would give her 5 stars. I will not be returning and I cancelled my family member's physicals here. After testing positive for strep, I was prescribed medication which should've gotten me back on my feet in a matter of days. After 4 days of progressively getting much worse, I lost my ability to speak, swallow, and properly breathe. After an ER visit, the nurse immediately told me the medications that the provider at AllCare prescribed me were the incorrect dosage to treat strep. Because of this mistake, I was hospitalized at George Washington Hospital and had to get my tonsils removed this last December. I beg you to avoid this urgent care at all costs. This simple mistake has caused me a year of battling tonsil procedures because the doctor mistakenly prescribed me the wrong medication for a common illness. read more

I have never authored such a scathing review in my life. I created a Yelp account to publish this review. Today, I arrived to All Care for the second time. To preface the story, I have debilitating anxiety and often struggle with task initiation. Subsequently, I knew I wanted to book an appointment with a primary care provider who does labwork on site, because if I receive orders for another lab, I often struggle to motivate to go get the labwork done, especially if I've already had to motivate myself for a doctor's appointment to get the orders that same week. I specifically chose All Care as my primary care provider because they advertise same day labwork on site. You can imagine how disappointed I was when I attended my first appointment at the All Care on H Street on 8/31 and learned that the lab just happened to be down on the day of my appointment. I expressed my anxieties about this to my provider, but agreed to take the orders to a Lab Corps or return to All Care another day for my labwork. For two weeks, I struggled with anxiety and task initiation before finally motivating myself to go to the location on Rhode Island Ave to have my bloodwork done. I called in advance to make sure that they would accept my orders and that they were open. By going to the closer location, it quelled a bit of my anxiety and made it easier for me to motivate. When I arrived at the new location, I was surprised to see that my primary care provider was there today. I waited to be called to the back, but when it was time for my bloodwork to be done, the nurse let me know that they could only complete half of the order today and that I would need to return for a THIRD time for urine samples because they had run out of cups. I was visibly disappointed, and she offered for me to leave and return at a later date for my entire order. Bloodwork is already anxiety provoking for many of us, especially those of us with negative previous experiences. I said I wanted to go ahead with the bloodwork and would return for the urine sample. I told her that I had particularly small veins and a lot of anxiety around having my blood drawn. I've been stuck in the arm many times and they've missed my veins, so I have learned to be my own advocate and request for blood to be drawn from the veins in my hand to mitigate the number of times I am stuck by needles. The veins in my hand are slightly more pronounced and often easier for people to stick. I told the nurse and she said okay. She inserted the needle into my vein and proceeded to wiggle it around, such that a blood clot formed under the surface of the skin. She offered to try my other hand, but informed me that I had "rolling veins" and that she would likely not be able to do it at all, and didn't want to stick me for no reason. I told her that I would prefer to leave and come back another time, then thanked her for her time. I was confused what she wanted me to do - she was the only nurse there today available to do bloodwork, and I'm not sure whether that would be the same case if I returned at a later date. Also, the problem she mentioned about my veins would not change if I returned at a later date - she would likely still not have ever been able to get my vein, and she seemed to just brush off the fact that she simply was not able to do her job. This was incredibly frustrating. If I had to come back a third time, I couldn't guarantee if their lab would be working, they would have the right supplies, or if they would have someone who could actually successfully perform the bloodwork that I needed done. As I left, I heard my primary care provider ask about why I had come in. The nurse told her that I had come in for bloodwork, but that she wasn't able to get my veins. I'm not sure how she could have brushed off her inability to do her job so nonchalantly. I'm not sure if my provider even remembers that this was my second time in for bloodwork that I was guaranteed would be able to be done on site at my very first visit, or that I had expressed my anxieties to her when we had our appointment and she first told me that the lab was down. Regardless, as you can imagine, I will be going to Lab Corps to have my bloodwork done, switching primary care providers ASAP, and never recommending All Care to anyone I've ever met. read more

I arrived at this clinic with a very sore throat and other cold-like symptoms (not COVID, but possibly COVID-related) that I had been dealing with for several days. The website repeatedly says "walk-ins welcome" and this is a few blocks from my house. Great. I arrived within a few minutes of their opening and am told that it's policy that appointments are virtual first, and then the provider will instruct me to come in, if necessary. So, walk-ins are not so welcome after all. The kind and patient receptionist, merely the messenger in this situation, talked to the provider who refused to see me. If this is policy, PUT IT ON THE WEBSITE. Having dealt with sore throats my entire life, I'm confident the provider will want to do a strep test, which means two appointments and more time out of my day. No, thanks. read more

They deserve the low rating they have on here. Where to start? The woman working at the front desk has a terrible attitude and is inconvenienced by checking people in... her job. She refused to scan my insurance card and I ended up having to call billing a week later because I was sent a $500 bill for services they did not even give me. I've been to this AllCare several times because of its location, but this time was the last straw. Every single doctor there has awful bed side manner, I've never had to beg a doctor for a simple strep test before until this place. And when you go in sick, they don't believe you. My throat pain was so terrible, I ended up having to go to the emergency room, and only then was I properly taken care of. The staff in the back also openly discusses patients health for everyone to hear. They also do not keep up with their records because I was arguing with the doctor who saw me for 15 minutes about MY previous visits there. If you're near this location, it would actually take you less time to go somewhere a little further and go anywhere else. Because even with an appointment at this location, you will wait in the waiting room for at least an hour. Oh, and how can I forget, they sent my medication to the wrong CVS after I told them the correct location several times. When I called to get this changed because CVS wouldn't change it, they told me it was my fault. read more

I really liked the primary care doctor I saw here, Dr. Jaffe. However, the clinic itself is completely dysfunctional, disorganized, and unprofessional. Three times in a row, I've had an appointment and the doors have been locked with no one at reception when I arrived at the time of my appointment. There's a sign on the door with a phone number that they say to call if no one is there, but when you call no one answers (I'm pretty sure it just rings to the front reception desk, where no one was sitting). Each time, someone eventually arrived to open up the building, well after my scheduled appointment time. On my most recent visit, I needed a COVID test due to a recent exposure. I specifically clicked "COVID test" when I booked the appointment online, and it let me book an in-person Sunday morning visit. However, when I got there (once someone finally showed up, late), they said they only do COVID test appointments through telemedicine, don't test at the clinic, and don't test on Sundays. In a previous visit, I also encountered a med tech who couldn't bring himself to use the accurate name for body parts in order to describe how to properly do a certain test. Despite having at least one good doctor, I would not recommend dealing with this facility. read more
