When looking for a home inspector, I opted to go with AllCheck after looking at hundreds of reviews across Google, Yelp, and more. I'm a big researcher and with a ton of great feedback, I wanted to see if that held true. It did -- Steven Hinshaw was the inspector for a house we were looking to purchase. I tagged along with Steven for four hours (it was a 6000+ sq foot house) and he was very thorough, super friendly, and went out of his way to explain things to me -- his findings, unique aspects of this particular home and its major systems, how to care for different bits, etc. More than anything, I felt great that his inspection was thorough and that he was meticulous in the best interest of my wife and I as buyers, rather than listing the least amount of issues possible to please sellers. The inspector was thorough and patient with our many questions and was very kind to walk us through the various maintenance points and tips as we consider purchasing our first house. He was prompt and detailed and the report will prove quite valuable in our first few years of ownership, as we will combine it with the incredibly handy binder provided to keep track of all maintenance items.
