I had McVeil Plumb come today and when the shower was turned on water was leaking from the shower down into garage but also the living room beams were dripping. My partner and I recently had our home…read moreinspected by Cris Murphy of WIN Home Inspections, and he gave us what we thought was a thorough report for an $800 price. However, once we moved in, we found that Cris had been either lazy or incompetent in his inspection -- he missed significant gapping in the roof boards that put the house out of code, wallpaper that was obviously coming away from the wall and had moisture and mold beneath it, gas leaks in the water heater, completely blocked air vents in the water heater, and a plumbing stack that needed replacing. Testing for gas leaks should be a BARE MINIMUM, and it's incomprehensible to me that this was missed by an "experienced" professional. I am so angry and disappointed by this service and would absolutely never recommend them, especially Cris Murphy. Unbelievable.
