Every option from security to rental car just rings and rings (at best), or disconnects (at worst). One of the numbers goes to a fax machine. How are people supposed to find out what they need to know about your airport if the information isn't online AND nobody answers the phone. I mean, nobody? Ugh. I've got to try to get to this airport today and fly out tomorrow. I'm not feeling hopeful about my flying experience if a simple phone call is so hard to answer. If it's not a total poop-show I will gladly come back and revise this review.

Our flight was delayed 4 hours and when we finally went to check our bags they told us we weren't able to and that the flight was closed even though the plane hadn't landed yet!! They told us we could get on the plane but we just couldn't take our luggage. Which obviously makes no sense. We have flown allegiant airline for years this experience is causing us to question our willingness to fly with them again.

The reason I'm going with the 5 star review is based on the exceptional service. Barbara hooked up all of my reservations much more efficiently than the app or the 800 number could. She provided a great long term stay rate and helped make adjustments when needed. When Barbara wasn't available Nicholas took great care of me. Exceptional service like that is rare and should be recognized. Fantastic job!

Service was good when required. Staff was friendly. The food was surprisingly good from the bar/cafe in the morning. Breakfast burrito was solid. So was the breakfast bowl. Would definitely order again and much better than the options you can find around there. Tons of fast food near by, but nothing remotely seems healthy early in the morning.

My husband and I had to spend an extra $3200 at the airport in Athens because we could not get checked in to our air Canada flight and it left without us. When checking in, in Thessaloniki they were unable to print out our tickets to both of our connecting flights and then we tried checking in to them on the different airline apps it would say we weren't checked in for our first flight even though we were. Since everything was booked through Expedia and not the airlines directly they were unable to just switch our flights for us we had to purchase all new tickets back to Indiana and all they want to offer you for being out another $3200 on an already $8,000 trip is a free voucher and book your own flights. On top of that the resort didn't know we were coming for our honeymoon which includes extra things if they know that, so we had to tell them and arrange that for ourselves. It is embarrassing to have a breakdown in an airport in a foreign country because you are stuck there and no one has answers for you. Now we have to spend the night in an airport and will be returning to Indiana 10.5 hours later than we should have been. Using an agency should make things easier not more complicated and stressful.
