She is thorough and purposeful in her use of curriculum, and continually builds on what I've learned from her in the past. I started taking lessons from her as a fun way to learn a new skill, and ended up with that plus a new ear and appreciation for music in general. SCAM ITS A SCAM YALL RUN TO A DIFFERENT STORE WE GOT A…read moreFLUTE FROM HERE FOR MY DAUGHTER FOR 6th grade, now she is in 7th grade and decided to move to orchestra to play Viola, during the summer brake i went to return the flute and they recommended me not to because I will lose "my credit accumulated" i specified that i didn't needed the flute anymore because my daughter did not like band and maybe wanted to move to orchestra and play viola or violin , guy there even wrote it in a paper of how much money i accumulated and the instrument i wanted, so I decided not to return it and took the flute home, after 2 months of paying for no reason, when I went back to get the Viola they say oh NO you can't transfer the credit from band instruments to orchestra instruments. so now I needed to start a new contract if i wanted the Viola. i don't appreciate being lied to now i lost my money.

I've played clarinet for over 20 years...I'm not dumb regarding what I need, etc Today will be my last visit to this store. In early August, we overhauled his clarinet with new pads. My son had some bent keys and things that needed to be addressed recently, but I was surprised to see one of those things was 4 new pads in less than 10 months. I mentioned it to the individual assisting me and he was like no that's normal, etc. He became very condescending towards me. From my experience, that is not normal, so I am within my right to question it. The older gentleman on the back just kind of nodded his head and didn't make any comments. As I was reviewing the receipt with the repairs and examining the instrument, he walked over to the door and stood in a semi confrontational stance and stared at me as if to hurry me up and rush me out of the store. Go to another shop that will appreciate you, your business, and not talk down to you.

I had a unique request to learn a mix of rock and rap style of guitar. He made a specific learning plan for me and it was exactly my taste. During this time I have seen a huge improvement in their ability as well as confidence level. The price range is anywhere from $15-$20 per half hour session based on the experience and qualifications of the instructor. There are no contracts involved, which I appreciate greatly. The owner Mr. Pierce has countless years of business and more importantly music experience. He continues to be a great example of a productive small business owner who takes care of their customers and staff. Since undergoing a staffing and midmanagement change a few months back, I have noticed an even greater improvement in scheduling and instructor flexibility. They are always willing to work with us on scheduling, instructors, and instrument maintenance. There are also biannual recitals for kids to demonstrate their skills and professional videos are available for sale. All in all I can say that this it's such a blessing to have my kids learn music in a family environment where it's value is truly appreciated. 5 stars people.

When we met Mike, we told him about a purchase on Amazon. He made a valid point - when you don't shop local then you have no service/ support and the internet can only get you so far. He's a one man show but Mike knows what he is talking about. High priced but excellent quality- on stage/ Dj lights, fog machines, all sorts of equipment- I think I saw guitars too. He will usually matches (sometimes discounts) online prices or advertised prices - BUT you gotta be honest because he will call you out if you try to scam him. He is an honest guy who is very talented. After a couple of weeks where we tried to do it by ourselves, we finally called Mike. He personally took time to help and teach us how to work our purchases. Yes, purchases. Not much to do right now so we have found a new pastime. I highly recommend this local business. Mr. Guzman inspected my Guitar and advised me that the Guitar was in good condition but the "Bridge" had a slight separation and would have to be repaired soon. He called over a Colleague who confirmed the assessment. Both showed me exactly where the bridge separation was located! Mr. Guzman gave me a recommendation of a business that could repair the Guitar! Instead of a full restring I asked to replace the one that was broken. Mr Guzman did a great job and retuned my Guitar. Great Customer Service, Expert free assessment of my Guitar! I highly recommend this business.
