She did want to get a skin sample for biopsy from a healing spot on my arm. The technician numbed my arm and removed an unnecessarily deep section of my skin. It was still bleeding two days later and will probably take quite an amount of time to heal and will definitely either scar or leave a divot. Two weeks later, I received a voicemail from sarah in the office. I immediately called back and left a return voicemail. After waiting most of the afternoon for a return call, I called back. Apparently, Sarah left for the weekend and I would not be able to get my results until next week when she returns. The office refused to provide any details on the biopsy. I'm writing this review not knowing if my biopsy was cancerous or not. Of course the office charged $100 dollars additional for the biopsy. I will not return to this practice.

In this paperwork, I initialed and agreed to the following policy: If someone is late to their appointment, they will not receive their entire service as this would push back other appointments. However, I had to sit and wait until 4:25 before they would take me--and I was told that this was because someone earlier in the day was late, and that was pushing back others' appointments. To sit and wait for a half hour past my appointment--when I just signed something stating that this would not happen...No, I do not agree with that. Furthermore, the massage therapist talked the entire time. As a new client, I think a therapist should first ask if you prefer silence or talking. I prefer silence in order to really enjoy a serene massage. I would not recommend going here to anyone. There are many better spas around.

After a bit of research, I talked on the phone with someone and they set me up for a consultation. We discussed type of hair, if my skin burned or not and even pain tolerance. At this point, I was able to talk about problem areas and prices. You could either pay up front or do a payment plan. I loved how all questions I had were answered and how friendly they were! The conversation went very well. I felt no pressure to do anything. They let me make all the decisions. They even gave me all the info and told me to think about it and give them a call when I was ready. I asked when could i begin if I wanted to start sometime soon and they said today! Huh? Say what now?! As a matter of fact, I actually got my first treatment after the consultation! Yup, they are that good. Talked me right out my clothes, LOL! Fast forward to 11 months later..... I am still doing treatment for my bikini area. Depending on how fast your hair grows, this depends on how many weeks in between that you need to come back. As a matter of fact, I had my treatment today with someone named Monique. She was very nice and made everything go as smooth as possible today. This place also does progress pictures before first treatment, when you are halfway (which I was today) and after all treatments are complete. I was very impressed with the lady who did my consultation 11 months ago. When I walked in, she greeted me and even asked me a subject we discussed when I first met her! Who remembers that? I can barely remember what I had for dinner last night let alone a conversation over 11 months ago. The receptionist is amazing as well. She is funny and always keeps me laughing. Once you schedule your next treatment, they will call and remind you so you don't forget. That's not the best part. One time, somebody cancelled and they called me to tell me that they could take me earlier that day. Who does that?? Amazing. While sitting in the waiting area I noticed that they also do something that is called Cool Sculpting. This is where they freeze away stubborn fat. This can be on the stomach area, oblique area, thighs and so many more. I cant really speak on it because I only go there for laser hair removal. It does look pretty cool though. My next appointment is already scheduled and I know that they are going to take great care of me as they always do. This place is where its at. I woke up the morning after my lash appointment with spa bar with a huge red irritated blotch on my…read moreeye. I had to make an emergency appointment with an opthamologist after my lash appointment with spa bar because I am leaving for my wedding tomorrow. I told the doctor I felt some extra burning in that corner while getting them done and the specialist told me the lash tech either scratched my eye or got some of the chemicals in my eyeball that damaged the surface of my eye. I called and asked to speak to a manager (to hopefully get a refund for the extra $25 she charged me for the style I wanted and the $25 I tipped her) but the manager was unavailable and the front desk totally brushed me off saying the doctor was probably wrong and burning was normal. Burning can be normal, but when a specialist tells you that you've damaged someone's eye, accountability is expected. Don't go here unless you want an extra charge for style, and then have to pay $94 at the eye doctor after they damage your eyeball.
