The arena is so huge that even that number of people seemed like a small amount. Beyond laser tag, there's also an arcade with lots of video games, skee ball, dance games and other things to do. It's very dark inside Lazer X, but your eyes quickly adjust. When it comes time to leave Lazer X, though, you're in for a rude awakening: It's hella bright outside! Agh! But assaulted pupils are a small price to pay for a good time here.

There were three weddings/receptions going on at once during my friend's festivities - one of which was in the area that was supposed to be reserved for post-wedding photos opps for our crew leaving us dilly dallying in the parking lot for a half an hour before heading in. The facility itself was clean and basic in a convention center kind of way. However, it appeared that the outdoor space might have more character. Because there was so much going on within the space you could step to the door of one reception and hear the music of the other reception down the hall (perfect wedding crashing opportunity?). -Food: not too shabby! Everything is German themed, of course, however the wedding we attended featured a very good Tex-Mex menu, so don't worry if you're not a fan of Wiener schnitzel and sauerkraut. The displays looked beautiful in the space and the talent was immense! They had a bar set up serving beer and wine (I don't think they can serve spirits?). The beers were local which was a plus! Parking can be an issue so be prepared to park on the street / potentially several blocks away. Can be a bit sketchy at night. Overall the space was lovely and I can't wait to attend another event or check out a new show sometime soon!

Look for parking behind the building and the main entrance is there also (even though the street address is Fairfield Ave, parking is behind). A daylight visit is also in order to see the murals painted by local on the buildings exterior. I'm not sure how often artists works are rotated, but I asked how to learn about things happening there and was told the best way is to follow the Wunderkammer Company on Facebook. My husband and I were fairly set on still getting married on our original day, so with about a week to go, we reached out to Joseph Decuis. And we are SO GLAD that we did -- it was completely different from what we had planned, but we wouldn't have traded it for anything (even our original wedding). We rented their inn for the weekend so that our parents and two siblings could be there. The inn is absolutely beautiful! they have stayed true to the history of the home with their decor and it was gorgeous. Diane took amazing care of us, meeting every need and truly going above and beyond for us. She made us breakfast each morning and everything was delicious. They don't have a TV, so it forced us to be very present with each other and enjoy the outdoors while we were visiting. All of the bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable, the bathrooms were updated and quite large! We loved our tour of the expansive and beautiful grounds, seeing all of their animals, gardens, and the many farm buildings. Then the day of the wedding -- they did more for us than I could have dreamed possible! It felt like they personally wanted to give us a fairytale wedding. I rode to the ceremony in an elegant, white horse-drawn carriage to the spot we had chosen while on our tour -- they had showed us many possibilities along the way. Throughout the day, they took videos and photos so that we would have lots of memories of our day. The owner of the farm drove my husband, our photographer, and I around on a golf cart so that we could take photos in many different places. The food throughout our stay was amazing. The steak and lasagna were both incredible, with their wagyu beef. We also had the pork chops, which were just okay. All of the sides were delicious though -- salad, mashed potatoes, etc. I truly cannot say enough kind things about all of the staff and the property. They took a disaster and turned it into a dream come true -- all with about a week's notice! We can't wait to go back!

We had the privilege of working with Emily and Breanna who made planning the event very easy and stress free. I appreciated their guidance and suggestions when selecting our menu choices. Breanna was very accommodating and let me come early to decorate the room for our dinner. She checked in with us while decorating and during the dinner to make sure everything was to our liking. The room and atmosphere was very nice, the food was delicious, and the servers were very attentive. We will definitely use JW Anderson's in the future.
