They were able to stabilize the regimen that is keeping the problem at bay for now and were able to rule out one other problem. My experience has been pleasant and even though they themselves were not able to solve the issue (I'm now trying to figure out where it's going wrong, which is beyond their expertise-I might be looking at an endocrinologist, and since then, my theory of a nerve problem was ruled out after a visit at a urology center), we were able to solidify that my case is hormone related somehow. When he retired they refused to reassign his patients and said "we aren't accepting NEW OHP patients", nvm the fact I've been with the practice for 20 years. The letter I received about his upcoming retirement said to call for further steps. I did and they said they can't tell me anything about further steps, can't reassign me to a new doctor, and I have to wait until he actually retires to see what happens. Fast forward a couple months and I call with a serious health concern and request to be seen, don't care by who ( in the past I've always just been scheduled with the crescent clinic), and was told "your doctor retired and we don't take Trillium so you're not our patient anymore, we can't see you." Incredibly unprofessional, disrespectful, and unethical behavior. Will be reporting to the Oregon medical board. OMG used to be a great clinic. Since Optum took over, they've become a dumpster fire. They also badly mishandled my Dad's treatment for years. They were giving him biologics chemotherapy for his condition as well, with zero oversight from any sort of doctor, and failed to have him overseen by a rheumatologist - the rheumatology clinic here failed me as well and is a total joke. He finally got his treatment handled through Slocum and is in much better shape now. He said he wasted years with OMG mismanaging his condition and unduly suffering due to their incompetence.

However, there was a misunderstanding. I had severe headaches & dizziness, & both doctors suggested I get an MRI. I asked how to do this, bc I was new to Lane County, & both told me to go to ER to do so. And, I did. I thought I did the correct thing, but obviously, I made a big error. Hospital found a meningioma behind the right occipital lobe in my brain, with very slight brain bleed. It scared me. When I returned in a few days after the diagnosis, both Allergist & Primary Care fired me as a patient. I'd gone to see my Allergist, Kraig, & he was having issues w/home health w/his wife who was suffering from MS. He wasn't in a pleasant mood, & neither was his assistant, who made my visit a very sour one, as she was belligerent/ (this was around 2010). To this day, I don't understand what I did or didn't do. I felt so sad, bc I really liked my care @ Oak St. Medical! Above all, I loved both my doctors. I'd recommend them both to anyone, even though I was asked not to come back after my diagnosis.

It's scary when your child could have cancer and you have to help facilitate the entire medical process. They're disorganized, extremely slow and lack good partner communication. 1- I had to call them 2 weeks after my PCP made a referral to schedule a new patient appointment with their podiatrist. They use a 3rd party company that is really slow at processing new referrals. 2- We show up early for an MRI and they tell me "I canceled it" and after threatening to file a complaint they tell me their MRI machine #3 was down and they rescheduled it without speaking to me but left me a voicemail I never received... 3- OMG's podiatrist made a referral to a bone tumor surgeon that never went through and 22 days later I had to ask the bone surgeon to please reach out to OMG and ask for a referral (not normal)

I went to the restroom for a urine sample and it was covered in what i can only assume was poop or vomit, if I wasn't sick coming in here I am gonna be now. Also while waiting to be called back there were bugs crawling on my chair and the table next to me. Definitely will never be coming here again.
