With three movie screens and lots, you always have options to pick from when coming to a movie. We were prepared for large crowds as we went for Toy Story 5's opening weekend. You can arrive earlier than the listed box office time. We showed up at 6:30 and drove right in! Come early, grab a spot, and enjoy the summer! We came hungry so we stopped by the Concession Stand. They do request that you don't bring your own food... and you won't be disappointed with the options. We, of course, grabbed the commemorative large popcorn bucket.. it was the perfect amount for 4 adults! I also snagged a Pepperoni Roll, large coke, and a box of Bunch-a-Crunch! The prices are reasonable and help to keep this community icon up and running for years to come. As you enter, they give you a list of rules and a small bag for any trash. Both of these keep the place clean and avoid any issues throughout the night. I cannot wait to come back for more movies all summer long!!

There are very few remaining drive-in theaters so I suggest supporting them rather than putting them down because you have a chip on your shoulder. To the person that griped about the SUV parked in the front row- the photo that you provided shows absolutely ZERO evidence of it restricting the view of the screen from where the photo was taken, KAREN! I go once or twice a year. I do not go to traditional theaters because i have a projector of my own and can purchase a new movie to view in the comfort of my own home. I go there for the experience. Take your happy a** to the Waterfront and pray to the lord that u aren't harmed in any way. I can only IMAGINE the kind of chaos that you created which blighted the experience for others nearby. This place is nothing short of NASTY and over priced. To make things worse, the Golf Cart Gestapo decided my little Ford EcoSport was a full blown SUV, not the car the State calls it when I register it or the insurance company insured it as, or the dealership sold it to me as, and we were ORDERED to park in the BACK ROW with the oversized and full sized TRUCKS! The place wasn't even close to being full except for the big trucks in the last row that could all see over the broken down shed in the middle of the lot, which we needed to move twice to see over. I'll give it to the owner for giving my $20 admission fee back despite the Gestapo input. The $40 I lost on that disgusting crap they called food couldn't be recouped, but I can report them to the health department for what that concession stand was serving and how they were putting it together! To think, I was a huge supporter when this place was begging for help to stay open. So much for nostalgia. Especially when the price for a seat at the luxury cinema costs the same as here, (a perk of being a Senior Citizen), and you don't get accosted for sitting where you can SEE the movie, even if it's only one and not a double feature. I won't say don't waste your time, because I still love the drive in movie experience, I just won't be having that experience at Brownsville Drive In ever again. As for the Golf Cart Gestapo, your face was priceless when I got my money back, despite your racing down to talk to the owner before I could, and despite the "No Refund" sign in the window, and despite you barking I was getting nothing but kicked out. I learned about this museum complex thanks to the library program that allows patrons to check out…read morepasses to a variety of local museums. I came to the museum not really knowing anything about it, so I didn't have any real expectations going in. Turns out it blew me away with how interesting it is! The museum is part of a complex of what was a fully functioning and busy town centered around the production of whisky, grist mill and farm. The house is also the birthplace of Henry Clay Frick. I know he is a complicated historical figure, but he is relevant and important to Pittsburgh area history, so it is interesting to learn about that portion of his history. When you visit the museum, you first check in to the museum portion of the experience (which is in the old distillery building). There are exhibits on the first floor and the second floor focuses on whiskey. Your tour guide will take you through the first floor of the homestead where you see recreated historical rooms. You also see the kitchen building on the tour. On the grounds is also a wonderful distillery that actively makes whiskey. You can sample their products along with other PA spirits and can also order a mixed drink. In addition to the museum portions, they also have a huge barn that is used for an events space. It is an interesting place to visit packed with history. A perfect place for anyone interested in learning more about local history.

The photos give a brief idea of the size of the crowd, but the hill sides were both packed. The music was outstanding, and the atmosphere perfect for a summer evening. My personal experience as an actor & audience member here have been nothing but enjoyable. The Bad Seed being my first show ever viewed here. Every aspect of their show was well directed with excellent actors of every experience level delivering their lines impeccably never missing a beat awesome blocking wonderful set design. It's everything which makes Danelle an awesome director in addition to everything else she does. Sound system & lights are excellent, enhancing the magic within each play performed. Audience area feels very quaint which gives me a nostalgic feeling which transports me back feeling like I'm enjoying my experience within my school cafeteria which doubled as a theater. I love the quaintness & will continue to enjoy future shows and events held here at this theater. My acting experience & involvement with Red Velvet Cake Wars has been nothing but an amazing 2 months of rehearsals or being involved with events promoting the play. The Convcocation Center at California University is a 6,000-seat venue that is the largest between…read morePittsburgh and Morgantown, WV. And I can tell you, it's a really nice place to see a show. The sightlines and acoustics are great, even from the cheap seats. My cousin and I went here to see a musical legend, John Fogerty in concert. John Fogerty has long been on my "must see" list, having last played the Pittsburgh area in 2005. He has achieved what few other Baby Boomer musicians have failed to do. He has remained relevant and vibrant even late in his career. The mid-1980s success of "Centerfield" not withstanding, Fogerty (unlike, say, the Beach Boys) remains interested in creating new music and puts a grade-A effort into his shows. His voice is still quite powerful. His recent album, "Wrote A Song For Everyone" debuted at #3 on the Billboard Album Charts. Though this album consists of covers of his solo and CCR hits featuring he and, for example, Foo Fighters, one only need to look at his previous album "Premonition" to see that the man is still capable of doing great material And yes he did do a lot of his CCR and solo material. Incidentally, the song "Wrote a Song For Everyone" was a big hit for Mavis Staples and Jeff Tweedy. All in all though, it was a great concert at a terrific venue.

The location is in Monongahela, PA (Washington County), 45-minute drive from Pittsburgh. The sunflowers are absolutely gorgeous and it's so easy to get lost in them. On the handful of visits I've made, my mind always goes to Van Gogh. I imagine this field would have been such a gem for him and to him. Support local.
