Its our first time at Vinoski and we love it! The grounds are beautiful and the staff is super friendly. We did a quick tasting to figure out what types of wine we like. We came for an event and they had an amazing offer to reserve a table of 5 for $150 and in return we got $150 in gift cards to use on wine and food. The table is basically free. We got our bottles of wine, ordered some of their delicious wood-fired pizzas and enjoyed a relaxing night of good friends, good food and good music. This is a little gem outside of Pittsburgh I didn't even know was out here and so glad we came out here. We will be back!

The Band was great. That's about it .. First time I've ever been to this winery and I wasn't able to taste the wine! Never in my life have I been to a winery during an event and I couldn't taste the wine ! Seriously, they want you to spend $30 a bottle to find out if you like it. They don't know why type of beer they have. If you ask what style beer they have, they will tell you Pennsylvania. Don't know what an IPA is, or a hazy IPA, or even a Hefeweizen! They know water. The know how to add a credit card fee on. They know how to do a mediocre Charcuterie Board. They don't know a good band is bad when you are a poor host.

I visited Vinoski Winery for the first time on Saturday. I tried calling 3 different times the morning of to see if we could bring food and how tastings/reservations worked. The automated message never let me speak to a real person. I couldn't find much info on the website or Facebook either, so we decided to wing it! The drive was about 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, but with all the red lights it felt like it took forever to get there! All of a sudden you make a turn into the beautiful entrance to the castle. Once we got up the hill we were told to park in the grass. There wasn't anyone directing people where to go for wine tasting or the concert, but we followed the music. We arrived at 3:30 PM knowing the concert started at 5 oclock. We thought we could tour the house and taste some wines before the show started outside. We kept trying to walk in different doors, but they said wristbands only. We definitely looked lost. The volunteer outside with blonde hair was so sweet and tried to help us. We couldn't find any actual employees outside. She let us in the door that said wrist bands only and showed us where the tasting bar was. We ordered 2 dry tastings, which were $20 each. I thought that was steep for 5 samples. The cashier gave us a ticket which we then took over to the wine bar. She was not friendly at all when I paid or when I asked about where to purchase a bottle. The wine concierge Doug was great. He was super knowledgeable and fun. We each picked out 5 wines from the list to taste. He informed us that they were sold out of about 4 different wines, but the list usually stays the same. I tried the Petite Sirah, Symphonia, Cabernet, Pinot Noir, and Reserve blend. The wines were really good, but lighter than what I expected from a West Coast wine. The grapes come from Washington, Oregon, and California. I wish they would have had their Lodi ZIn because I usually love those! Doug informed us that instead of pressing the grapes, they use free run juice which is the juice that flows from freshly picked grapes during the destemming and crushing process, prior to the pressing process. "When winemakers put the grapes into the winepress, the grapes are stacked on top of each other and the weight of the fruit causes the release of some juice." I have read about this process, but never had wine from somewhere that did this before. The Reserve was a California Bordeaux blend and it was definitely the best wine. I loved how smooth and well balanced it was. They gave us oyster crackers in a little cup at the tasting bar. The house is 12,000 square feet and is now used for bridal showers and special events. We got a table outside and set up all the snacks I brought. Once more people started arriving, they brought full charcuterie plates, and now we know that outside food is allowed. They also make homemade wood fired pizza outside. We got a half plain, half pepperoni pizza and it was really good! The bottom was charred and it was delicious. I would go back for a show or one of their special wine dinners. The sound and lights for the concert was great! It was a fun little day trip.

On a scale of documentaries to romance novels, Vinoski Winery is a collection of summer poetry. This sprawling property offers the perfect location for that summertime escapade of wine, live music, friends, and laughter. Tucked south of the city, the gorgeous building sits atop a hill, and you don't see it until you make the turn into the winding driveway. I have only attended evening events here, but I have loved how you can bring your own food, chairs, blankets. For me, it's reminiscent of a summer day sitting by the Danube River in Vienna, sipping wine with friends with the general ambient sounds. Vinoski does have tables -- both patio tables and picnic tables; however, some events require that you monetarily reserve the patio tables. Alcohol can be purchased on the lower level of the house. Sometimes they have the options set up outside, and sometimes purchases need to be made inside. I have enjoyed every wine I've had there, but I particularly enjoy their Blueberry and Cherry wines. Parking is on the lawn. Portapotties line one side of the back driveway; however, there are public bathrooms on the lower level of the house. Pro Tip: Take your own food (sometimes they have a food truck or their pizza place open) and your own seating. Groups chose to play frisbee on lower lawns (seriously this property is HUGE), and if you plan to stay late, bring bug spray or a candle.

Beautiful outdoor seating and views, live music and great wine at a castle... every girls dream come true! For covid you need to make a good purchase, but they have pizza or wine-able aka the adult lunchable. We got massages at the spa which was very relaxing and wonderful. Highly recommend!

What a charming place. We spent a Saturday night here and it did not involve food. We sat on the patio and drank wine and listened to a live band. You have to drive a bit to get here but it's worth it. You will park on the grass, which is easy to go and convenient, then walk to the mansion patio where there are lots of round tables with umbrellas. To order a glass of wine, you go inside and there is a bar where you can get a glass or a bottle or several bottles. It would be good if the selection of wines were greater but this will probably happen as this is a new place. Personally, I was wishing for a Pino Grigio, but settled for some Spanish wine whose type I cannot now recall. It was good. Walk down to the end of the patio for a spectacular view of the surrounding area - mountains and pastures. This is a fun and different evening and I recommend it. I hope to return.

Beautiful winery! The Mansion is absolutely breathtaking. The winery itself offers a good selection of both white and red wines. The red wines are made from California grapes and make the wines better than most wineries in the area. You can pay for tastings inside. They don't sell wine by the glass, only by the bottle. Went there on a Saturday in the afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. At night they had a band and a very large crowd. The winery seems to do more with cover bands in the evenings than having entertainment in the afternoons. I would suggest purchasing any bottles of wine to take home with you before the crowd starts to come in for the evening band. The bistro is not open for food Saturday afternoons. But they do have a nice charcuterie board that you can enjoy with your wine.

Beautiful location and delightful wine. We tried the Petite Syrah; delicious. We were there during the Oktoberfest weekend so the catering was fitting for that. You can bring your own food and we saw many tables that had. There is a huge patio with reservable tables.

I like sweet wine. This is a favorite.

First visit here, but hopefully not our last. I didn't know about this winery until a blurb came up in my FB feed. It said they were going to have fireworks, live music and wine to kickoff the Independence Day holiday. That seemed a better alternative to staying home and working on humdrum chores. We found the winery easily and the former residence is very impressive on first sight. This was a special event and there was a crowd. We were stopped and asked to make a donation to park. We were told it wasn't mandatory but for $10 we would be given a chance in gift basket prize. The money for the donation would be given to charity. Staff were guiding guests where to park their cars and we got a space a short walk from the venue. We scoped out the premises and found a place to put our chairs and picnic basket. A food truck was off to the side of the building and another booth was on the patio selling snow cones and hot dogs. Also, we learned that picnic tables on the grass area are available on a first come basis. The patio had several reserved tables with umbrellas. I am not sure how much the charge was to reserve a table. We found the tasting room and learned it was $10 or $20 per person to do a tasting. We decided to pick a bottle and take our chances. Due to the special event, the tasting room was quite crowded and it took awhile to pay for our purchase. I have a few reservations about this place. The business is fairly new and bugs need to be smoothed out. No designated handicap parking. We did not need it, but have family members who do. The cost of the tasting seemed high, but I couldn't see how many or much was given for the cost. The $20 tasting was for the premium wines. The long wait for purchases was inconvenient, but I don't know if that was only due to the huge crowd. Another long wait for the women's restroom. It was a single bathroom and a line of 10+ women. They should plan on removing the shower stall and add extra stall. All and all, it turned into a very nice evening. I learned that this winery has only been in business for a year. I would love the opportunity to see the actual inside of the venue as the tasting room was on the bottom floor. One can see that at one time, this had been an elegant, luxurious home.
