This woman is fraudulent. Sold us an engraving for $70 that turned out to just be an image printed out on printer paper. Beware.

This is not the kind of place that I could photograph to show you exactly how spooky, haunting, and…read moreartistic The Creeper Gallery is. I had recently travelled to New Orleans and was so disappointed by the "voodoo" stores and haunted shops there- their wares all felt so kitschy and touristy there was nothing haunting to find interest in. The Creeper Gallery satisfied my hunger for haunted and unsettling objects. The display was laid out with such a wonderful touch, I found myself ambling around the store at a comfortable pace. This perfection in arrangement is hard to achieve in the average gallery. The sculptures were so interesting I would have bought one of it wouldn't have scared the bejesus out of my roommates. It was cool to see "haunted" items that legitimately did look haunted for once. I am hoping this gallery never loses its authenticity and curiosity. Stay creepy!!

Yet another gem in New Hope. This shop fits in perfectly with the vibe in this town and it is right…read moreup my (dark) alley. I spent some time here reading the inscriptions describing each item, but there were a few other people there when we were there and the small shop quickly becomes crowded, so I wanted to be respectful and not hog up all the space. I could spend lots of time here though and this won't be my last visit. The shop owner was catching up with an old friend who had stopped in, so I didn't get a chance to interact with her, but she was very welcoming to her store. Spooky little addition to Main Street. Perfect season to get your dose of the creeps.

So so glad I stumbled upon this store!! With COVID masks in place and all, so many stores aren't…read moreopen at all. As visitors, we were just strolling Main Street and noticed that this store had its front doors open, welcoming people inside. Just for technicalities, I think but could be wrong, that this store had a sign above its door that referred to it as "General Store." Both staff present were friendly, helpful, available, and wore masks the entire time. Everythjng in the store was fairly priced. I actually thought they could have charged more for many of their items.... obviously, getting a bargain is always great! This store offered a little bit of everything... It had a kids section that had all kinds of old school toys like the ones I had growing up (I'm now 39), like a cap gun, trick gum toy, the boardgame operation, pickup sticks. It had a section dedicated to outdoorsy stuff... but simple and cool stuff- such as a fire starter (about $5), a natural $2 toothbrush, and several knives (not intimidating hard-core ones). This also was mixed with some jewelry (not very much though), and some zen-like items, for lack of a better term, like burning/smudging tools/items such as incense and buddhist-like chimes. This area also had canvas bags & knapsacks. They also had, in the main open portion of the store, miscellaneous items - pocket mirrors. Candy. Decorative socks. Stickers. Masks. Unique Keychains. I could have spent a really long time in here, if I weren't with a friend. GREAT SPOT!
