Pickup times are always reasonable, and when I'm picking up something for a sick child or family member (as opposed to standard renewing prescriptions) they always manage to get me through extra quickly. They're also very quick and efficient with flu shots and basic vaccinations, and billing has always been a breeze, as in they handle it directly with the insurance company and I don't have to do a thing. The staff are all friendly and helpful and willing to go out of their way to help. They also have pretty decent photo services, too. I just wish that THIS was the 24 hour location versus the older, smaller location just down the road at Paxton Ave. A guy can wish.

Great service, friendly reminder calls, special ordering meds before hand for regular customers. Completely kicked Walgreens with all the drama, bs, insane power trips by pharmacists "illegally practice medicine with out a license" by asking to see x-ray and MRI reports to see if "I really need" the same pain meds I've been getting from the same doctor same everything for 5 years. I wish Walgreens would funnel some of the personnel and resources from this location over to the Robbinsville store a few miles down the road, which has a much nicer shopping experience but far worse hours. As a result, this location is my "only when I have to" store, which due to the Robbinsville location's reduction in hours for both the store and pharmacy occurs more often than I'd like.

Contrast this experience with other Shoprite's nearby and the others are a little more congested, both within the store and in the parking lot. I've never used any of the counter help, seafood, meat, or bakery, so I can't vouch for the freshness but what they have wrapped up at the meat and bakery counters always seems fresh. Maybe my impression is skewed because I generally visiting during off hours. But even during off hours, I'm never hampered with staff blocking aisles to restock shelves and yet they always seem to have most items in stock and on the shelf. The pandemic understandably affords them a reason to slip here but they do a good job here keeping stock rotated. Lastly there always seems to be enough staff to checkout, even during the recent holidays when I made a large purchase for a local donation to a food bank. They also recently installed two new rows of self checkout which means I never have to wait for a register in the evenings.

They came through for me when my mail order pharmacy could not get their hands on a prescription that I take daily for a chronic condition. They helped me through a lengthy dog bite recovery period with advice, recommendations and support. Esp. when I had an adverse reaction to a prescription from the urgent care center. And now they are helping me prepare for a trip to Tanzania. In addition to supplying all of the OTC and prescriptions for the trip, they packaged all of my medications and supplements in individual (labeled) pouches. This way I can take just what I need for each side trip instead of carrying my entire supply with me. And I have to mention the gift store that is part of the pharmacy. Whoever does the buying does a great job, every time I go in I find something either for myself for the family!

This CVS is smaller than some others so it's not as well stocked with holiday items during the end of year holiday season, and have a small refrigerator and freezer section. With the lack of a grocery store in Old City, the smart thing to do would be to expand those sections. But I can usually find what I'm looking for here. And the pharmacy rarely has a wait. They recently added self checkout machines, so u can generally avoid that person holding up the line complaining about something or asking for a rain check on a coupon. This CVS has been a welcome addition to my Old City neighborhood since the day it opened.
