For example, I was suffering from daily asthma attacks, and he suggested extending the time before using an inhaler, and letting my lungs "work themselves out" first, resulting in many sleepless nights and lethargy. After switching to a new allergist, we've successfully kept my asthma 100% in check by trying a new medication that worked. It appears Dr. Ambrosio has not kept up with new research or treatments. After following him from his Bayonne office to ENT Associates, wait times extended to almost an hour, while actual consultation time decreased. It pains me to say this after being a long-term patient of his, but I think most people would be better off elsewhere.

So, I spoke to Theresa, the rotten miserable wrinkled woman at the front desk, multiple times who acted like she knew nothing, but when it came time for her to talk to an insurance rep with me she was magically very knowledgeable. Despite me trying to resolve this wrongful bill multiple ways, I received a letter I was being sued for $226.26. This abhorrent notice came while I was in the hospital everyday with my unresponsive mother on hospice due to a tragic accident, talk about added stress. I, again, went into the office and called multiple times to resolve it, but every time was told "they'll get back to me," which they never did. During one of my office visits with Michael Sherman I sat in the room waiting and I could hear him tear a staff member to shreds with unacceptable venom in his tone over something minor. This made me extremely uncomfortable as a waiting patient and should have left right then. I was also pushed into treatment I was charged for despite attempting to decline it due to my first test results coming up completely negative. There is something completely demented about Michael Sherman's personality for him to talk to his staff the way I heard and to treat patients like myself with this kind of unnecessary headache. I attempted to resolve this lawsuit on 11/11, and his lawyer kept telling me she hadn't heard back from him. This was shocking to me since his waiting room and office were consistently empty when I went there. On 11/25 I drove to office, and she told me she hadn't heard from him still. I called their office with her present and the bill was resolved immediately (thank you to my mom who passed). I never realized Doctor Michael Sherman was so desperate for $226.26. I would never recommend anyone go to this practice after my experience. My experience with Michael Sherman has shown he's an abscess to the people around him. I'd be very cautious with the fraudulent and manipulative ways this business handles themselves. I never would have had the treatments done if I knew I would owe money beyond my copay.

The problem here is that they charge a $75 no-show fee for missed appointments. Had I not checked my voicemail, I wouldn't have had awareness of this policy, nor would I have accepted it. If this office wants to charge people for skipping appointments, then it needs to be sure that it is scheduling with the actual patient. I was yelled at for suggesting how ludicrous this is to the receptionist, like she took that personally for some reason. Very scammy attitude. Learn to accomodate your patients.

Dr. Farhad Chowdhury was amazing! I have been having…read morehoarseness for a few mos now and I wanted to get it checked out. I was referred to Dr. Chowdhury by friends who came to him with their kids chronic ear infections. I was able to got an appointment very quickly, and I was actually surprised that he could just put a scope in right then and there in his office and figure out my issue so quickly!! I was a little nervous so he took his time and made sure I was comfortable. He talked me through my procedure and did a wonderful job of explaining what he found and also discussing treatment options. It turns out I have nodes! (hello, PITCH PERFECT FANS! lol) He was thorough, warm and informed. I really appreciated how modern the office is -all the paperwork can be done electronically prior to my visit, and there are TVs in the exam rooms so that you can watch the doctor doing his procedure. The staff was warm and wonderful. I would highly recommend Dr. Chowdhury and this practice to my friends and family members.

Especially Susie. I literally walk up to the check in counter and stand there for minutes, with no smile, greeting, or even a "I'll be right with you." God forbid I need to update my insurance info or have a billing question, you'll really upset her. It was better when there was a sign in sheet so I didn't have to interact with her. The nurses and other technicians are all wonderful. They are kind and caring. So, take this review of what it's worth. The front reception staff is the face of the business. They fail in that area. The other areas are good. I think I'll switch to Marlboro. If they have the same issue then I'll find another allergist. Too many businesses undervalue the idea of decent service. I'm not talking about exceeding expectations, which any business should strive to do, but rather they fail at even being mediocre in this area. If you want patients who happy and continue to frequent you r office, then you should smile once in a while and don't act like you are being bothered by helping me.
