So check-in didn't go well. However, everything was superb once the doctor's nurse called me in. She actually was amazing, caring, and calming. The ENT doctor was FANTASTIC. RECOMMEND YOU VISIT THIS LOCATION FOR YOUR ENT NEEDS. The location is easily accessible. Parking is free and adequate. ENT of Georgia South is located on the ground floor at 830 Eagle's Landing Parkway.

During the initial scheduling process, I was required to repeat my demographic information multiple times because the intake representative appeared to have difficulty collecting the information accurately. Unfortunately, the representative's attitude made what should have been a straightforward process unnecessarily frustrating. My larger concern involved gaining access to the Athena patient portal. As a new patient, timely access to the portal is essential for reviewing records, receiving updates, and communicating efficiently with the care team. When I called for assistance, two front desk staff members stated they could not help. The issue was escalated to a manager, but the manager did not speak with me directly and instead communicated through front desk staff. I was repeatedly instructed to contact the Athena help line, despite explaining that I could not access the portal in the first place. No alternative support options or IT contact information were provided. When I asked to escalate my concerns further, I was told there was no one above the manager available to speak with me. As a healthcare clinician myself, I understand the importance of patient portal access and effective front-office support. Patients should never feel like they are a burden when seeking assistance with basic aspects of their care. The quality of the clinical care is the reason I would consider returning. However, even excellent clinicians can be undermined by a poorly functioning front office. Additional training for intake staff and management would significantly improve the patient experience. Patients deserve to feel heard, supported, and assisted throughout every step of their care journey. I hope this feedback is used as an opportunity for improvement.

The entire staff at the PTC office is absolutely amazing! Our 13 yo son had received several…read moreallergy shots several weeks in a row (for seasonal allergies) with only very mild reactions or no reaction at all. However, last night he did have a more severe reaction, just before the 15 min observation period was over. Thanks to Danielle's (MA) THOROUGH education on signs/symptoms of anaphylaxis during our first visit, my son immediately recognized his symptoms, and notified me. Danielle *believed* him, then assessed him quickly and calmly. Within 1-2 minutes, his symptoms progressed, so she calmly notified other staff who arrived in seconds. Amanda, NP, Brandy, NP, and Jacob, NP were all extremely professional, calm, and thorough as they monitored and cared for my son. Three staff stayed with us for 2 hours until all of us (my son included) agreed that he was stable and safe to go home. Dr. Agrawal was in constant communication with his staff throughout the episode via phone (even though he was at an event for his new office) to ensure my son was improving, and to stay informed. He and Amanda also requested I update them later that night via cell phone to ensure my son was still all good. This was so comforting to my husband and I!! Again, I cannot stress enough how valuable the education on anaphylaxis was to my son and myself! Danielle explained the information in a simple, concise and easy-to-understand way that my son obviously remembered! He knew something was happening to his body because of that education, and he felt confident to speak up. Now if anything were to ever happen to him outside of that office (heaven forbid!!), he feels 100% confident he can handle it and knows he will make it through unscathed! That is so comforting to this Mama!! Danielle, Amanda, Brandy and Jacob--THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You all made such a difference in our lives last night! We will always come to you for all our allergy needs. Erin Schauer

Dr. Vickery gets bonus points for sharing the same last name with me. I highly recommend signing up for a visit the next time to find your nose stuffy or throat closed up. The only problem is they don't do serum prep in Hiram. I have spent 6 months trying to get this fixed. I've called the number on the bill. I've contacted them on the patient portal. I have gone into the office with the bill and explained. The staff agrees that this is an error. And yet, I keep getting a bill for it. I am told that the matter is being escalated. Nothing happens. I will not pay this duplicate charge nor will I continue to call and have nothing happen. They are going to lose a loyal patient over a clerical error. So sad.
