This is a great office. First, it is one of the best organized offices. The appointments are not…read morelong, nor is the wait time. Yet at the same time you are given a very good exam and time to ask questions. Second, Dr. Livas and his assistants Rose and Sara are very competent, very friendly and very knowledgeable. Dr. Livas especially knows how to make new patients feel welcome and old patients appreciated. We generally see Rose, which makes for consistency. Third, we've seen results; our allergy and asthma symptoms have decreased. We wholeheartedly recommend this practice.

I was told to be at the office fifteen minutes prior to my appointment, so at 8:15 AM, I was there. After waiting until 8:40 (ten minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment), I received a text saying my appointment has been canceled due to incoming weather. Having sacrificed my time and taken a day from work, I am appalled by this office's unprofessionalism.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. In addition, my doctor was very knowledgeable and explained the process and treatment plans thoroughly. Be prepared to undergo a detailed back prick test and maybe multiple skin shots in the arm. Whew! If you are afraid of needles, this part may be overwhelming. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to grass, some trees, dust mites, and ragweed, but I am now more knowledgeable about how to treat my allergies.

The office staff and doctor are capable and friendly. However, the billing service that the clinic…read moreuses is an absolute disaster. We have gone months without receiving any bills, then will suddenly be notified that my allergy shots cannot be mixed because we owe several hundred dollars. The clinic itself cannot see the billing service's records, and the billing service cannot see the clinics records (according to the office staff). The result is that the patient is left with no real way of navigating what they owe, whom they owe it to, and no recourse when a questionable claim is made by either the clinic or the billing service that money is owed. Finally, we resorted to paying for my child's visit up front so that we wouldn't have to deal with the headache later on. We paid several hundred dollars in the office, only to later receive a bill for that same visit from the billing service. The clinic could provide no insight as to why this might have happened or whether we, in fact, actually did owe the money in question. It's a shame that the quality of care, which has been largely satisfactory, is outweighed so heavily by the awful experiences we've had with the clinic on the financial end of things. According to the office staff, mine is not an isolated case, and other patients have had frequent issues with the billing service. I don't know if they've complained or explored going with another service to provide a better patient experience. In any case, I plan on moving on to another allergist soon.

We got up and drove to an appointment only to get an email saying they canceled us 20 minutes after the appointment time. I also manage a business so I got out of bed long before work time to decide whether or not to cancel due to inclement weather. I did not want my clients to drive to the office only to find out that we were closed. It takes very little effort to put an announcement on your website and shows your clientele that you understand that their time is valuable. This complete lack of respect for patients is a clear sign that the organization is poorly managed. Apparently, this group is still of the old school opinion that only the doctor's time matters. They sure don't mind telling you that you must give them due time and notice if you need to cancel or you will be charged for an appointment. Patheti!

I came hopeful and I wish that Dr. Livas was a primary doctor, bc he was so caring with me and my son. The whole staff, front and back, were very kind and knowledgeable. I didn't think going to a doctor, let alone an allergist would be so pleasant. I'll be recommending everyone I know to him! Where's the 6th star review?
