I have never seen the doctor here- only PA's. Poor communication from front desk- they will charge your card for copays and not tell you about the upcharge/fees for using the credit card. Virtual visits are insisted when calling to make an appointment. My kid was on a prescription about to expire and there was no care or follow up to schedule my kid back in to assess if further Rx was needed, when I called back to schedule I got an appointment 2 months out which means we'll run out of Rx and there will be a lapse- don't know if we will need to continue or not. They don't care about your continuity of treatment, they care about their bottom dollar. Busy office that handles many patients- be prepared to be treated like sheep. This office is a money making machine, and anyone who comes here should expect to be treated like a cog. I do not recommend. read more

I question Dr. Manoukian's honesty. Despite my Blue Shield of CA Gold PPO insurance having no limit on food allergy tests per day, he claimed there was a 60-item cap. I verified with my insurance that no such limit exists, and no other doctor has mentioned this in the past decade with the same plan. It seems his office have misrepresented this to require an additional visit, incurring extra copays for both the test and consultation. Additionally, the front desk scheduled my 60-item food allergy test with the physician assistant (PA) instead of Dr. Manoukian without informing me. The PA was defensive during the visit. I've had allergy tests in the past, including one six months ago, that identified multiple allergies, but this time the PA claimed I had none, which seems inaccurate as I still react to several foods. When I tried to discuss comparisons with my prior test, the PA became very defensive. I would not recommend this practice. read more

They're completely overbooked. My son is supposed to have weekly shots, but they don't have enough slots, so many appointments are missed, causing delays in treatment. Which I don't think they mind because the longer treatment takes, the more they get paid. Suggest finding an allergist who knows when to stop taking new patients. read more

i came to the office complaining of my left ear getting clogged up, and minor congestion symptoms otherwise. They tested and confirmed my allergies and suggested either weekly allergy shots, or daily sublingual drops (the latter of which is not covered by insurance, and would cost $2000 per year, for minimum recommended 2 years). i acknowledged the risk that the drops might not work, but since i could not commit to weekly office visits for shots, i decided to try the sublingual drops option. 2 years later, my symptoms actually got worse instead of better, however, i am not blaming the diagnosis, the drops or the doctor in this regard (otherwise it'd be a 2 star review). I acknowledged the risk that the drops might not work. My complaint stems from my post-drops follow-up appointment (and perhaps also my first visits), when i asked for a targeted plan to minimize the clogged ear symptoms moving forward. On my last visit, the doctor spent all of 12 minutes with me, and when i asked about perhaps different antihistamines, she told me i should keep using the same oral antihistamine (that hadn't been working very well), and suggested that i use the nasal sprays more often. Well, one month later, i checked Chat GPT about my issue, and it recommended a different oral antihistamine that targets the ears much better than all the other oral antihistamines. i started using it a week ago, and my symptoms are improving. Why couldn't the doctor expend a few extra minutes and let me know about this more targeted antihistamine option... to address my main symptom?!! I don't mind having to blow my nose a few times a day, but to go through the day with a clogged up ear is quite annoying, and can throw you off balance. Those few minutes of doctor oversight have cost me dearly, and i'm glad that i decided to continue with my own research rather than blindly entrust the hurried doctor with my health. Other than that, the doctors and staff all seem nice, and the facilities are all fine. The only other frustration is that their phone system only rarely allows you to leave a voice message, and you have to keep calling back read more

My first appointment everyone was nice but the second appointment I had the unfortunate luck to get Kayla Hopkins and she is not a very nice woman. She was smiling so I thought she was nice at first but realized it was a completely fake mean girl smile and she was very condescending and rude for no apparent reason. I asked her a simple clarification question about my blood work and she rolled her eyes and said "Listen!" like I was a 4 year old getting scolded by a mean mom. So bizarre. When I mentioned some things from my last visit to an allergist, she told me "that kind of testing doesn't even exist" ?! I said "I am not lying or dreaming about it" she said "it doesn't exist, but anyways.." That was just the strangest doctor experience ... I feel like I have to sage or something to shake off her yucky vibes ... that's why i wrote this review .. to get it off my chest .. and if someone else crosses paths with her and feels like this, they will not feel alone read more

I recently received a letter in the mail for a $50 balance due from June 2023! What?! I remember I was always required to pay onsite so I knew I did not owe this balance. I had to dig up my old credit card statement and was able to confirm I paid $52 on the date of service listed on the statement. I had to call and they had me email proof of payment because their records show I never payed. Sent the email and never heard a response. I followed up at the end of the week and they said that they applied the payment but that I actually owe another $50 balance from a different date of service. Again, what?? lol. I was able to pull up my credit card statement for the new Date of Service I supposedly owed a balance for and I was finally able to get my account cleared. Why is their system only flagging my account now and somehow claiming I did not make payment on two different service dates?? What a scam. Keep your receipts! read more

I was initilaly referred to Dr. Manoukian's office by my daughter's pediatrician. She has significant tree nut allergies, and we were seeking out treatment for these allergies. My daughter is only 4 years old, and the care that she has been provided by both Dr. Manoukian as well as his PA staff has been exceptional. We are treating her for one allergy at a time. The first allergen we treated is Cashew, and she has done remarkably well. In fact, she is able to tolerate a total of 16 cashews at a time with the amazing help of Dr. Manoukian and his staff. I cannot recommend his services enough. read more

They ask for your credit card information over the phone before making your appointment and when I said I was not comfortable they said I can give it over email!! Victoria Kechichian is the person who was consulting me over email and just cared about my credit card information and when I lagged a couple of hours decided to give me attitude. I do not need your service!!! They don't care about you just the money you're giving them. I went ahead and told her to cancel my appointment and made an appointment with another specialist in Sherman oaks who did not ask me my credit card information and gave me an appointment.
