This is definitely the season and it effects all of us so might I recommend we try to practice some of those wise choices that we're required of us during COVID-19, I'm also speaking to those who visit massage places when they're sick. Anyway, I received a gift card. That's the only reason I scheduled an appointment. For health reasons, as a frequent migraine sufferer, I've scheduled monthly massages for myself for over 20 years but since arriving in Wakinekona/Washington, despite my doctor recommending massage as treatment, it's not included in insurance and this place is hella pricey, not just Hand and Stone but almost every massage location I've looked into. However, the staff here are very friendly, professional, and the place feels clean. If you can afford it, then I'd recommend it. Try to be clear with your massage therapist when it comes to pressure. That always seems to be an issue regardless of where I am,this place is very gentle.

I think the massage service provided at this site is excellent. However, the business billing is…read morevery unprofessional. I had a monthly subscription. I had my last massage in Feb 2026 or early March 2026. After my treatment, I informed the woman at the front desk I wanted to stop my subscription. I asked her to remove my credit card from my account. My husband kept his subscription and we changed that to his credit card. On 3/23/36, my credit card was again charged the monthly subscription price of 89.95. I did not notice this until I was checking my account around 4/10/26. When I called, the woman on the phone said: "I called you". In checking my phone, there was a message that she had called. So, I asked for a refund or reversal to my card and nothing happened. So I just spent 89.95 for no service, that is fraud in my book. Today, was checking my account again and my card was charged $50 on 5/19/26 for a service my husband had. I called again and a very apologetic woman said she would take the card off both accounts. So treatment service is great. Mishandling money is unacceptable.

This sign does not say whether the aromatherapy special applies to a full salt stone or mini salt stone. This place is very deceptive.

UGH IF I COULD GIVE YOU NO STARS!!!!!…read more These guys were at the top of my list when I searched for massage places that accept worker's compensation insurance. I visited their website, reviewed all their services and read their reviews. I was eager to get relief from a job-related injury. However, I quickly discovered they are no longer willing to help. They advertise on their website that they assist with bodily and work-related injuries, but they have stopped doing so because they don't get paid the way they want when dealing with L and I. I was told this directly by a team member when I called. It's unacceptable that the medical field prioritizes profit over patient care. I injured myself on the job through no fault of my own, yet I am being denied proper treatment. This is selfish and unjust. If you want to retain customers, update your website immediately so people in genuine need are not misled or left suffering.

I receive regular massages and facials (high end to medium standard/locally & during my travels) so I am very experienced in spotting a quality spa and know what great service looks like! The dim lighting and ambiance is very nice and calming. The establishment feels exceptionally clean and nicely decorated, even the waterfall faucet was fascinating! Not high end but good enough, great quality massage spot. My masseuse, Stephanie, is so skilled, has great technique and was in tune with my body. She truly has the magic touch and maintained the firm pressure that I like. The customer service was excellent from all of the staff members. I love how easy it was for me to book online (a requirement of mine), even last minute booking worked out well! BUT...I should have CALLED to book as it is required to receive the $10 off of the first massage. Oh well, I love to support small business. The location is fairly easy to find with the help of Google Maps but, can be hard to spot since I do not recall seeing a business sign along the main road (I could be wrong). They share a building and entry with another business (I think it was some insurance company). The massage business sign is on the door so you know it's the right place! I was so pleasantly surprised by University Place Massage. I will definitely be a regular here with Stephanie. I highly recommend checking this place out ASAP!

Hey Hello Hair! I…read moreabsolutely love this place. The ladies here are truly the best. I'm lucky to have Charla and Jessica taking care of my hair--my lifelong, deep red hair that I proudly say comes from my great-great-grandmother. It's that strong Indian red MC1R gene trait, and I don't take it lightly! I had hand and arm surgery in January 2026, and the girls even took care of my hair before my surgery. At that time, we were working through simple wash routines together because I couldn't wash my hair myself. They were so patient and helpful through all of it. By the time I needed my next move-up, I was ready to wash my own hair again, and they celebrated that progress with me. I truly love these ladies like I've known them for years. Everyone in the salon is so kind, fun, and genuinely caring--not just with me, but with every person who walks in. Going to my appointment at Hello Hair is something I always look forward to. I genuinely love being there.

I've been seeing Hallie for a while, and throughout my visits it has always been clear that gray…read morecoverage was important to me. At my most recent appointment, I specifically asked to focus on covering my grays, and she confirmed that we would make sure they were properly addressed. Unfortunately, the service did not fully resolve that concern. (And I paid over $300+) It was difficult to see in the salon lighting, but once I got home a few days later, I noticed quite a few grays still very visible. I reached out to let her know. Since I was in the process of moving, it wasn't feasible for me to come back in right away, but I was hoping we could discuss an alternative solution once I got settled or explore some form of help given I wouldn't have the time to come in right away. Instead, I was sent a link to purchase a gray touch-up stick from the salon. That response was disappointing and, in my opinion, not reflective of a professional resolution to a service concern. Clear consultation, and follow-through are essential in this industry, especially when it comes to gray coverage, which requires intention and attention to detail. If something cannot be fully achieved during an appointment, it should be communicated transparently with realistic expectations and options discussed in advance. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to refine consultation practices and client care. Growth comes from listening and improving, not from becoming defensive, rude, or passive-aggressive. I truly wish her the best and hope she uses this as a learning experience. (And others find this useful if you're looking for gray coverage as part of your service) And btw(after reading the owners response): this was NOT a gray blending service, it was always very clear that I wanted my grays fully covered each time I came in.
