In addition, during a period of major family transitions, Grow with Us was a stabilizing force in our daughter's life, providing her a place of safety and connection during a really difficult time. Since starting kindergarten, we have been consistently affirmed in our decision to send her to daycare and preschool with Grow with Us as she has been able to adapt quickly to the world of kindergarten and gets great feedback on her social-emotional skills from her teacher. Not only that, but at the first "student of the month" ceremony, three of the six kindergarteners who got awards were kids who attended our grow with us location in edmonds! The storytime too with lots of words on the page, no pictures and the kids were asked to stay behind a line far from the book. This is a hard ask for young toddlers. I think it takes a very calm toddler for this class to be successful or the instructors to use louder/more engaging language (sound effects, singing, etc)

"We have your daughter" A few minutes go by as this man tries to convince me he's a good guy returning my daughter home. I race home, frantically trying to get a hold of my wife, the day care, the police, anyone to get more information. My wire is woken from a migraine by the police banging outside our door claiming "We found your daughter and her friend" Long story short, at a field trip to a local park, they lost my daughter (plus one other kid). They were unable to find them. They did contact us to inform us of what was happening. Fortunately, my daughter had the sense to ask for help and the person she sought help from turned out to be a Good Samaritan. I went and cleared out our kids cubbies that afternoon never to return. I wish I could give 0 stars, because, frankly, "don't lose the children" is job #1.
