I was willing to overlook Jay Suites losing two important checks and failing to forward them…read morethrough their mail forwarding system, assuming it was an honest mistake. But after spending six months trying to cancel our virtual office and struggling to find a clear way to stop the annual auto-renewal, I strongly warn anyone not to give this company your money. It turns out the only way to cancel was by emailing a specific address--something never shared with us despite repeated attempts to cancel. Jay Suites also requires cancellation 90 days before renewal, but they started our renewal process on October 2, 2025, even though the renewal date wasn't until October 31, 2025. We were never sent a signed copy of our renewal agreement, and none of these policies were clearly communicated. When I finally reached someone to discuss it, they refused to cancel the renewal, citing their 90-day rule. After everything, they still auto-renewed our annual membership without consent or proper notice. Avoid this company at all costs. Their practices feel deceptive and make it nearly impossible to cancel once you've signed up.

Workville changed the game for me since leaving NYC due to COVID…read more My company office is in NYC but has been shut down since March and I ended up moving back to California, but my team is still in NYC. What am I going to do when traveling back to NYC and have no office to work from? Cue Workville and boy did they deliver. The location in mid-town is central to anywhere I need to travel to in NYC. Plenty of food options around and safety is paramount at Workville. Hand sanitizer is available throughout, counters are wiped down constantly, Workville residents respect mask-wearing in public areas. Most importantly, support is on hand at all times with Sue, Sabrina, and DJ. If you ask nice enough, they will even let you play your own personal Spotify playlist so you play DJ for your office mates. I love Workville not just for their office layout, nor the wrap-around outdoor deck from the 21st floor, or the free coffee... it's a vibe. A vibe that I need and crave when I visit NYC. As "Ahnuld" said it best, "I'll be back!"

The staff at VillageOne are really kind and friendly, and the space itself is impeccable. Seriously this place is so tranquil, the furniture is extremely comfortable, and they have a great mix of tables, sofas, and standing desks. Their membership rates are incredibly affordable - especially when compared to the other 4-5 options that are right in the same neighborhood and on the same street. When I first moved to Gowanus there were fewer options for co-workers - BCL were one of the first to do it right in the area. Cold brew coffee on tap, plenty of mixer events (topical & social). I have enjoyed the personal touches that founders Neil & Erin put on the space. They are always quick to refer business between members (either via their online community OR thoughtful introductions). Today I know they have more competition but I would never think of leaving - location 1 mini-block from the R @ Union. Great basic lunch & coffee options. Flexible plans from the Part Time 40-hr-month that I started with up to private team offices I'm not sure what else you need. Congratulations on running an awesome community - so glad to be a part!

This made getting into the building a bit difficult. Additionally, even though I had booked a room, others apparently were still able to book it, and thus, I had a few issues with conflicting bookings - not ideal with my meeting schedule that day! The space is cute - there's a few floors that have different vibes. One floor had a ton of plants, I felt like I was in the jungle!
