I dropped off my whole gaming system to be assessed for sale+replacement, they called me the next day offering 400$ for a 8k gaming desktop n when I politely requested they simply wipe the system for me to take home the owner got disgusting calling me saying I should take what theyll give me n trade it in n pay for another regular pc they wanted to SELL ME. i said no thank you Id like to have it lightly serviced/ wiped then to keep and do as I please with it I came to pick up my computer, they couldn't find all the parts to my system-gave disgusting costumer service refusing to service it when they said over the phone it would be done easily when I picked it up! if they're mad I wouldn't sell them my computer they definitely showed that and don't have good communication or customer service at all. read more

I ran into an issue with the battery to my laptop going dead on me. Online all I found was the run around trying to buy. I called them and they were able to find the battery for me. Shipping took a few more days but they called to let me know what was occurring with the shipping. Battery got in and they were able to switch it out and made sure it was working. I took in my seven year old Lenovo laptop that had a broken screen. I wasn't sure that it could be fixed, especially since Lenovo doesn't support the version of my laptop any longer. However, I was pleasantly surprised that David was able to quickly diagnose the problem and find a solution to fix it. I along with my wife visited Allgen computers today. the shop closes at 6pm but David was kind enough to let us in even at 6:08pm. i explained the problem with my laptop - keyboard not working and laptop not booting up. David immediately opened up the laptop nd diagnosed what the issue was. He replaced the cable connecting the power supply and the keyboard. Needed to find out what hardware I needed for my setup at home. I called first to ask if this store sold what I needed. I didn't know exactly what I needed, only what i wanted to be able to do. I explained this to David over the phone and he assured me he could help. I arrived and I could clearly see David was working on something but he still greeted me when I approached the counter. He took the time to look at my primitive sketch of what my setup currently looked like. He never once made me feel rushed. Allgen saved my laptop and my sanity! The response time on my laptop was getting slower and slower until it finally froze up. I had no idea what was wrong and hoped it wasn't some killer virus. I took the laptop to Allgen and Josh in the Service department said it was probably the hard drive. He gave me a range of options and costs, and a timeline when the repairs would be finished. Sure enough, it was a bad hard drive. Josh replaced the hard drive, copied all my files to the new drive, and even gave me the old drive if I wanted it. The repairs were finished when he said they would be and the cost was reasonable. I am not very tech savvy, so I appreciated that Josh explained what could be wrong without talking down to me and answered my questions in a way that I could understand the answers. read more

These guys are amazing!!! The shop is located right behind a Starbucks, a pretty ingenious geographical decision on the part of the owner. Thank goodness for their convenient location, because the coffee I spilled on my computer was not going to wait for anyone before it would have fried my motherboard. It was an entire venti cup of iced coffee that left my keyboard completely drenched in sweet liquid fuel. I had never moved so quick in my life. I flipped the laptop over to use gravity to protect my internal components and dried off as much as I could. That's about the time I noticed their repair shop behind the Starbucks and proceeded to rush out the door. After a few out-of-breath sentences regarding the situation, a tech was already headway into removing the back panel to expose the interior of my laptop. 10 minutes of cleaning, an air compressor, and a toothbrush in alcohol was more than enough to give me some modicum of hope before attempting to reboot. I am writing this post on this very same computer. Granted, some of my keys are sticky and my trackpad is a bit laggy, all in all, they saved my computer. Highly recommend for their amazing customer service, speedy maintenance, and accessibility. read more

I'm a fairly tech savvy person and am impressed with how the staff is both friendly and extremely knowledgeable, they went above and beyond in helping me get my computer up and running the same day I brought it in. I wasn't quite sure which part had died on me and didn't want to spend money on both parts if I didn't have to. Will diagnosed the problem and Susan found a perfect replacement that integrated with no issues. They didn't pressure me into buying any parts I didn't need, didn't make me feel unwelcome, and explained everything they did without any prompting.
