While she was very conversational, it felt like she was looking to take on bigger cases of "trauma" than she considered my struggles to be (though, mind you, I would consider what I went through quite traumatic). Overall, it felt like my feelings and thoughts were overlooked, and the narrative she was forming was not accurate (which I voiced). But honestly, it may have just been a personality difference between me & her. So I'd give her a first session if I were you.

My wife sought treatment at Livewell for trauma-related mental health care. Unfortunately our…read moreexperience there was very troubling. Her medication specialist, Trish, repeatedly added medications during appointments until my wife was taking a large number of prescriptions. Eventually my wife expressed that she was uncomfortable continuing to add medications and wanted to focus more on therapy. During our last appointment with Trish, I was present and heard her say that the holiday season could be difficult and that my wife should lean a little heavier on her medications if needed. She also said that if my wife ran out early, she should call and it would not be a problem. Shortly after this, my wife experienced the death of a close family member. She followed the instructions she had been given and leaned on the medications during that difficult time. When she ran out slightly early and contacted the office as instructed, the response from Trish was extremely hostile and accusatory. Instead of receiving support, my wife was labeled as a drug seeker. Following that situation, she was denied further medication management and also refused counseling services including EMDR therapy that had previously been discussed. Communication with the office was also difficult. Whitney at the front desk often did not return urgent medication calls, and interactions with Mary were consistently dismissive and unhelpful. When my wife attempted to leave a review about her experience, Michelle, the manager, contacted her and told her the review needed to be removed and claimed that mentioning staff members by name was illegal, which is simply not accurate. The only positive outcome from this situation came from Cathy, who overheard what was happening and later helped my wife continue receiving care outside of Livewell. Mental health patients deserve compassion, stability, and support--especially during times of grief and trauma. Our experience at Livewell was the opposite. If you are considering treatment here, I strongly encourage you to seek help elseware. This was the most traumatizing experience we ever had!!!

I've seen a number of therapists lately, and I've never felt so supported. These therapists will…read moretalk as long as you want to, even if it means they have to do some rescheduling. I will say, the one downside (and totally overcome-able) is that the reception staff seem to struggle to keep up with some of the policies. So far though, they're super forgiving when there are misunderstandings and work hard to keep up with the intense scheduling issues that can arise. Scheduling 5/5 Respecting 5/5 Communication 4.5/5 Staffing 4/5 Patient Interaction 10/5 - they are seriously the best!! They know why they get paid so much, haha! They also were able to work with my insurance, even though they are pretty much out-of-network. If you have good insurance, please go here!

I have been going to her for years and…read morewhen I have pain or have pulled something in my back, hip, shoulders, neck...something that NO doctor can do anything about except write a prescription for pills or send you to PT...she ALWAYS ALWAYS gets rid of the pain. Not in a week...not over time...but the next day it isn't there anymore. I leave her feeling like I'm in an altered state I feel so good. So many times I've thought Caytee won't be able to help me this time...but she really has NEVER failed at relieving whatever I've managed to hurt.

Cattee taylored stretches and exercises to help me retrain my muscles and get them to do there jobs correctly. My posture is a lot better. It is a lot of work and dedication, but it is worth it.
