I tried to receive information how they reach a price for just labor. They claimed that there is no hourly rate. I wanted them to explain to me how they can justify charging me $1788.00 for sealing several small leaks which took a little over 30 minutes. It seems to me that they could not give me a good explanation. I reheard and found out that the job ranged from $375 to $700. and some as little as $150. If your have repair work only, I would inquire what the cost per hour for labor. for that job and how long it would take. I wonder how many other customers that they did the same thing of over charging. There is only one reason they have no hourly rate, so they can charge any amount. read more

just now I'm using AAA A air conditioning because they bought out the company before. I've had problems several times and they can't seem to fix it. The unit has been condensating incessantly. They're trying to sell me ductwork and fans but not guarantee That is going to fix anything. So this 63-year-old homeowner has to climb up in the attic and fix what they can't figure out. There was a pipe off and the ductwork is hanging down unsealed. But their technicians can't see that? I will never use AAA A again. read more

After we bought the house, I had Triple A replace the very old upstairs area unit with a new unit. We have had many problems with this unit over the next three years. Eventually the blower failed and at that point I called a different company to deal with it . They saw immediately that the existing ductwork was sized for no more than a 2 ton unit but the new unit Triple A installed was a 3 ton unit. Based on our experience, I would caution anyone considering them for an a/c installation. read more

Don't use these people they are not honest! I bought a inside and outside unit from them and right when we hit the one year mark it started freezing up and according to them it's because the return isn't big enough after multiple people from their company had to come out for them to actually figure out what was wrong! Well they are the ones that installed the unit so you would think at that point they would of realized the return needed to be bigger! Their customer service is terrible keep getting texts from Natalie that they are coming today but yet no one has showed up they make appointments and don't follow through! Also they talked me into getting these sensors that are supposed to tell us on a app when there was a problem well I was in the house yesterday when it froze up again and the app never registered anything so that was more money wasted on these people! This company was bought by a different person within the last couple years! Also if you put your experiences with them on their facebook page and it isn't a good experience they block you so no one can read it! We had 1 of 2 units stop working, and were delighted to learn that, because we were not in a hurry, AAA was willing to schedule a repair at a time that was most efficient. This implies that they work to prioritize emergencies so that all customers can get service in a way that the techs are not stressed. Our tech was delayed for his morning appointment, and we were called immediately to reschedule, still on the same day. The tech was able to diagnose the problem within 15 minutes and show us the part needed to get it all working again. In addition, he recommended putting new tie-downs on the outside compressors to adhere to windstorm regulations. He had one set of tie-downs, but not both, so another appointment was arranged for the second set. I was unfamiliar with the pricing scheme that AAA used (parts are priced to include labor), and was unhappy with that, so AAA was able to explain in writing how they arrived at their numbers, and to give me a new invoice more in accordance with what this yankee girl is used to (the prices are reasonable considering the expertise of the techs). All in all, I would recommend AAA not only for emergencies, but for preventative work. I intend to get a quote from them when we need to replace our aging units. read more

AAA is a company I would highly recommend! Their technician, Ethan, went above and beyond, to help me fix the issues I was experiencing! When my old Ac company decided to not to show up (to a appointment I scheduled over a week out) I was left with little options to choose from... I had 12 hours to fix a leaking AC before I had to head to out of town. I called AAA and the woman on the phone reassured me she could get a technician out within 3 hours and he would be able to fix the ac that day. The staff from AAA prompt in getting back with me after my email query sent after hours and setting up an appointment. The staff showed up on time and were very courteous and respectful. Working the course of their normal inspection they found my Freon leak, a leak that the prior service company refused to look for because they said the unit was too old might as was pushing me to get a quote for a new system. AAA staff found the leak, took video of it and made sure and gave me several Options from repair to replacement. My unit is 14 years old and uses the soon to be discontinued R-22 so I decided to go with a new system, because they seem trustworthy and were not prone to the additional exaggerations prior service folks made (yes things will get rusty). I Just want to share what a wonderful experience I have had with this company. I had been "working" with anther local company to have a lot of work done on my air condition. The other company has not returned my phone call for over 3 weeks. Even after I had called them to question about it. I called AAA Air Conditioning and Monica answered the phone and was SUPER helpful. She answered all my questions and had Ken out to my house within a few hours to get me the quote I needed. Ken gave me the price point which was around what I was expecting and not once made me feel uncomfortable about pushing prices or up selling. The work needed was an entire new system in the attic and out side plus relocating the new system to a closet instead of our attic due to the tight constraints within the attic. We went ahead and made the purchase. Ken had his team of employees at my house the NEXT morning!! 4 employees hustling to get the work done. I could not believe the terrible service. The technician that showed up, his clothes were ratty and torn and he smelt like a bar from the night before. My grandmother had called them to come fix her broken AC. After about 3 hours to change a capacitor he was finally done. I got a call for my grandmother to be out there after he had been there for about an hour. She did not feel comfortable with this ac company in her house. The really 3 hours to change the capacitor. He tried to bill us $650 for a $10 part. I paid the bill and told him to leave. I will never use these people anymore. About 2 hours after he left my grandmother was going to the grocery store to get dinner for tonight. She was unable to find her purse. That night charges started popping up on many of her credit card accounts. This has just been a terrible experience. Obviously it's been over 2 weeks now we still haven't found her purse. But I'm sure it's probably with the person that was in our house that's now charging her credit cards. read more

I set up the appointment on Tuesday for Wednesday Mid morning And they were there by 10.am.. They were very professional and thorough.they began by inspecting My entire system Inside and out.They took Lots of pictures of every step of the way. After they were done inspecting the system. they explained the problems, showed me all the photos and gave me options on repairing my 15 year old system.. I didn't want to chance a repair and possibly in a year or two have to replace something else. So I decided to replace the entire system.. At first I thought that these guys were really pricey, But After they were done, I was completely satisfied. I guess you get what you pay for, and they are worth every penny of it. Our A/C had been out for 2 days before I decided to call someone to look at it. I read reviews before calling and AAA lived up to its 4.8 stars, even though I say 5!! Anna was nothing but very personable on the phone and said someone would be at the house in 30-40 minutes. Eric called about 20 minutes later, showed up about 15 minutes after that and within 5 minutes of showing up had figured out the problem - explaining everything to me as he worked - he's awesome! Our residential A/C went out on a Friday evening going into a holiday weekend. We feared no one could fix it for days. Other A/C repair companies probably would not have gotten to us until after the holiday.
