I was told that they take my insurance but are not in network and would cost ONLY about 5% more than others. I was told what the bill would be, got the work done, they tried to upcharge even more, but I turned it down because I can't afford more. I paid the total bill and left. A few weeks later I received a bill saying my insurance didn't cover it. I called the Hillcrest office and was told that it was only an estimate. What?!!! I would not have had anything done that cost so much. I don't have the money. I ended up paying, but it happened again and again. I have paid over $8,000 in extra costs. I stopped going months ago and I still am getting unpaid insurance bills for a year ago. Not only was I over charged, but they apparently did not even send in some of the bills to the insurance. Plus, the insurance keeps turning down the ones they received saying that it was UNNECESSARY work.

Look, I am well aware going to the dentist it's not something people want to do. If you have a problem more than likely you're going to experience some discomfort. Richview Family Denistry does everything they can to make your visit pleasant. They do that by making their surroundings aesthetic. Their staff is courteous attentive. If you have a question ask anyone. They will be more than likely able to answer it to whatever detail you want them to go into. If not, Dr. Wall or Dr. Biggs are more than happy to put you at ease. We absolutely consider them all family. Why not, we have gone to them for almost 14 years since coming to Clarksville. I don't know how anybody could not be completely satisfied coming here. I have never had any questions or problems with payments, notifications for appointments, or with patient care. I felt it was absolutely necessary to let people in Clarksville know where they can go for a great family dentistry. One last note when my daughter required patient care beyond what is provided here I.e., orthodontics they provided us a great referral.

I would like to tell others that they seem to be under qualified for services being offered. They also sent me a letter terminating my relationship with me as they could not fix the issues I had with them. They did not complete the treatment plan as they described to me. I truly hope that no others have to experience the particular situation that I did. I will not recommend them to anyone as they did fulfill their obligations in my opinion.

I already have a crown on the tooth that may need a root canal, and I wanted to know whether, if the existing crown is in good condition and can be retained, their provider can permanently restore the access hole made through the crown after the root canal. I was told that they normally place a temporary filling and send patients back to their general dentist. I understood that, but that wasn't what I was asking. I wasn't asking anyone to determine over the phone whether my particular crown could be restored. I simply wanted to know whether permanent restoration of an existing crown is something their providers will do when clinically appropriate. I even asked if she could check with the provider. Instead of getting a simple answer such as, "Yes, we can do that if the crown is suitable," or "No, our office never does permanent restorations and always refers patients back to their dentist," I was told that it depends on the provider and my situation and that I would need to come in for a consultation. That's what I found frustrating. I completely understand needing an examination to determine whether my crown is suitable to keep. But I don't believe I should have to pay nearly $200 just to find out whether the provider offers the service I'm looking for in the first place. I ultimately decided not to schedule. The interaction left me feeling like getting me booked for a paid consultation was more important than simply finding out from the provider whether this was something they were willing to do.
