Don't rent or buy from Marianne. I met with Marianne on a Wednesday to look at a home SHE owned and was renting out. I filled out the application that day, she called me on Thursday, the next day to say I was approved and she would be happy to have me live in HER home. We had a discussion of negotiation in which a meeting of the minds was met and she was having her broker write up a contract. On Saturday I get a TEXT from her saying her broker won't write up a contract because my credit is too low?!?! Which was a big fat lie!! My credit was perfectly fine, since two days prior she called and said my application was approved!!! A) As an owner of a property you can rent to whoever you want to. B) my credit was and is not low at all C) you don't call someone tell them they are approved and then days later say they aren't. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE, EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and just plain bad behavior as a person. I would never recommend her or any home she rents out or sells. Not a trustworthy agent at all! read more

I am very disappointed in all the years I rented from Alliance Realty "Patti North" is the agent in which I unfortunately had to deal with....I was at the same property for 6 years. While I do not know all of the laws I do know that I am entitled to my full deposit back. I left the place immaculate compared to what I moved in to....I time after time year after year 3 years to be exact begged her to get my door in the garage to open....Her response time after time....it's on the list....Yes I have witnesses to all of the things that she never fixed..... And because she never does get anything done in a timely manner I finally decided after years of rent increases and nothing fixed found a nicer place to rent.....and because she never gets anything done now she says she is making a claim against my deposit I imagine because she was to lazy to just send my money back in 15 days......now she has 30 days....I will be pursuing this matter in court as I am entitled to my full deposit....Warning to anyone thinking of renting from this lady Patti North...DO NOT! She lies about everything....She will act like your friend then stab you in the back...she is the true meaning of a SLUMLORD......I am a single mother whom paid my rent, took very good care of the property, never had any complaints, and she wants to charge me to replace blinds that she promised to change at the beginning of my last lease signing....Her response...I don't remember saying that.....She doesn't care about anything but making a dollar off of you...She is the worst person I've ever had to deal with in my life ..DON'T TRUST HER! read more

I just had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a truly dishonest, lying real estate agent associated with the Alliance Realty Group of Fort Myers Fl representing Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club, Maria Sizemore. She was less than candor with me regarding a seasonal rental encompassing 2 months at HPGCC. She dragged us along since March into believing that this property would be mine to rent Feb and March of 2020, she refused to write up a customary 60 day cancellation policy. Most lease agreements I have entered into provide protection for all parties That was disappointing, the lack of a cancellation agreement protects the lessor only, no protection for the lessee. Agreements are not written like that. I was prepared to purchase travel insurance which she promised to send me and didn't , again a huge disappointment. Also, we have been discussing this property since March at which time she assured me this property would be mine for February and March 2020 and now all of a sudden it is not. I trusted her and she was less than candor with me. As a result, I have lost 4 months and I am back to square one. Stay away from her, she is not trustworthy. read more

We purchased our proposed Florida retirement property from Alliance Realty and had nothing but good experiences. We purchased it with the intent of renting it for a few years prior to us eventually retiring in Florida. Deb was able to get tenants for us in the interim. I was concerned about managing the property from a distance (Phila suburbs) but whenever we had a problem Deb was available and the problem was resolved. As we approached time to consider our move to Florida, we developed some medical concerns and felt it was appropriate not to leave our local medical support group and had to sell the property. Deb was there to assist us and was always available when we needed to discuss any aspect of the pending sale. I give Deb and her team 5 stars for handling our initial purchase, management of the rentals and the eventual sale when we decided not to relocate. read more
