I had a vasso vagal episode in the lobby. I told receptionist I felt it coming and could she get a dr or some help and she told me to have a seat they with take notes of it in triage. We had a great experience. All of the staff were kind, professional and made us feel comfortable. We walked in and were seen within 10 min. Some of the bad reviews almost stopped us from going here I'm glad I didn't listen. The office was clean and there was nothing falling apart. The price was more than reasonable. Please don't waste your time and money here. First, soon as you walk in to the office you noticed how this office is falling apart. The atmosphere is depressing. I went to see the doctor for terrible back pain and my blood pressure was extremely high. No prescription or anything....the only advice was "go to the hospital"... this 2 minutes doctor visit cost me 109.00 for nothing. Never again. So I brought my son here for an infection on his leg after going to the hospital and being told there was a 7 hour wait. First off the staff asked my husband to leave which I get they are still in covid restrictions, but she was also ready to ask me to leave which I am my sons legal guardian which I showed her paperwork to stay. They took us in quickly but I now understand why it was completely empty in there. The "Dr" took one look at my sons leg and said infection put a big gob of ointment on it and said antibiotics will be sent to pharmacy and said he sure is hairy and walked out. Like WTF! He's a guy and who cares if he's hairy. They didn't swab it or anything. I took him to his primary care Dr this morning where he was actually swabbed and is being treated for MRSA in case that is what we are dealing with. I think it was irresponsible to not further test it and just say infection, I mean I obviously knew that which is why I went. Absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced, the Hispanic tattooed male nurse, opened the door seemed to have a chip on his shoulder, and was annoyed I was standing outside literally 2 minutes before they opened, I advised him I made a appointment online & I needed it canceled if they are able to see me sooner, he then rolled his eyes, he asked if I could complete the online registration, I did, and advised I was unsure of my insurance member number, I asked if he can look it up he said " no " so I look online and unfortunately I can't obtain it due to it being a Sunday / weekend and they are closed, So I had to leave WITHOUT treatment of a kidney infection, due to not having funds to pay for an office visit.... DON'T GO HERE FOR A RAPID TEST!!! I went in and asked for a rapid test at Alliance Urgent Care in Tolleson, AZ They charged me $71.00 out of pocket even though my insurance has covered 100% at Nexrcare on a previous appointment. They said it would be refunded if United Healthcare paid. When I received my EOB and saw it was paid I called and they still charged me for the rapid test. They used the excuse that what was billed was for the office visit. I did not go in for an office visit only the test. Scamming for extra money! Definitely avoid this place! read more

The male doctors have always treated me and my kids with respect and kindness and took care to listen and diagnose our illness. Unfortunately this past Sunday an extremely rude and unprofessional Dr Julie Stavinoha was there. She walked in the room and her face went from pleasant to hate. She asked which symptom bothered me the most and didn't ask what my pain level was. She insisted I only had laryngitis even though the symptoms started in my sinuses and she refused to swab for strep. Dark yellow green musus streaked with blood from my sinuses and throat felt like glass. She prescribed Amoxicillan knowing it doesn't treat sinus infections. Throat feels better but still dealing with stuffy sinuses and thick yellow green bloody mucus and coughing with dark yellow brown phlem. Dr Julie yelled at me when I opened the door to ask a question about the meds she was prescribing. Rude, unfriendly, unprofessional, and possibly racist or maybe she treats everyone with the same disrespect. "NAM found that "racial and ethnic minorities receive lower-quality health care than white people." Dr. Julie is a contributer to the inferior medical care black women receive from doctors. read more

This place is hit or miss. Depending on what time of day or week...just like going to Taco Bell you get good service on a weekday on the weekend no so much. It's like the same employees shift locations from fast food yo fast Medical. I came to this urgent care as my third time of seeing a doctor because my cold wasn't getting any better. I was in the doctors office rather quickly. But I did wait some time to be seen. Only because they were rather busy that day. Doctor came in and was very pleasant and asked what was wrong and I told her my symptoms and how my cold has been going on two weeks with now some ear pain. She examined me and determined that I had a sinus infection which caused an ear infection. She gave me a prescription for antibiotics, ear drops and ibuprofen. I was thankful that she actually listened to me and was able to help me. I'm going to be coming here from now on considering my other two experiences with another urgent care was so disappointing. read more

For one they messed up my prescription. The pharmacist tried to get a hold of them to question them and see what they really wanted to prescribe me. He said he left a message and no body reached back. So I went ahead and called and told them the problem they put me on "hold" hung up 2 seconds later and I called back 3 times and no answer. Go an extra mile and go elsewhere, the wait even though there's 4 patients in the waiting area is over an hour, then when triaged and given a room another hour just so that the dr Slavinoha can come in half way in the door and not really seeing the patient. She stayed less than a minute like she was in a rush and had no time to see us even though we'd waited 2 hours!! Her bed side manners absolutely suck! Never going to that urgent care ever again. Their staff isn't friendly at all! Like they're all in a bad mood. Just plain bad service all around. This is a great place, I don't know why people gave it one star. At many urgent care's with the customer just don't know is that you were not even seeing a real doctor, most of them are nurses flunkies or physician assistants they are not real medical doctors. Yet those places charge an arm and a leg and most of the time all they care about is themselves they don't care about the patient. I've had horrible experiences at those places. Compare that to this Tolleson clinic which is almost always attended to by a real medical doctor. I've had only great experiences at this place. We have even been there on Christmas Eve and they have attended to us in a most excellent way. Horrible , horrible place! Front desk was extremely rude . At the time I went , there was nobody in the wait room but me and my baby! My baby needed to be seen ,he is 1 yr old ! She wouldn't let me use the desk to filled the paperwork. I felt degraded. My husband went with me but they wouldn't let him in because of COVID , I'm pregnant, it was extremely hard to keep the baby calm and filled the paperwork at the same time . Even tho we were alone they made him to stay outside so he wasn't able to help me . At the time of the x rays they made me to go stand outside and my husband went inside with the baby ... it was hot! My friend called one day saying he wanted to get tested for covid 19 they said he'd have to come the next day. He did so, he paid his $75 copay to see the doctor for the doctor to tell him that he doesn't want to do it because he didn't have enough symptoms. The doctor refused to test him. His fever and headache have not gone away or changed the next three days. He called again today and they said he'd have to pay another copay to actually be tested. They should have done the test in the first place when he came in for that reason. This place is unprofessional and lacks consideration for people who feel they need medical attention. read more

I was required to do a follow-up appt for my primary care doctor while I was on vacation in AZ. We easily were able to book an appt time with this facility. Upon arriving, we were seen in a timely manner. The attending physician Dr. Stavinola, came into room right away to explain that if my accident follow-up required further testing with medical equipment they did not have in their facility, I should go right away to another facility or to the ER. We talked about my injury and realized it did not need immediate testing. I had an x-ray in this facility and all was ok. He looked or I should say glance for literally a second and says, 'ya that's scabies'. He REFUSED to look again or at the other rashes, didn't listen to my heart or lungs. We always bring our kids here when they get sick on weekends because their pediatrician is closed. Been waiting at the reception area almost an hour to be seen. There was only one person here when we got here at 11:00am. Two more patients have arrived since we have been here waiting and they were both called first than us. After the first one was called I thought maybe they had an appointment, but then the second one was called and then I was really pissed. I went up to the front desk lady and after about 5 minutes of looking through her computer she apologized and said we were put on the schedule as an appointment visit and not as a walk in ( whatever that means). I would of walked out right there and then but I'm sure my daughter has strep and I don't want her getting my other kids sick. 10 minutes later we were called back and we are still waiting to see the doctor. INCOMPETENT FRONT DESK STAFF. I drove my younger sister here for COVID test and to be seen by a physician. Younger girl working the front desk did not know what she was doing. She told me the insurance wasn't active without even looking at the insurance card I had in my hand. She was looking at old information on file. I told her to check the policy number with my present card and she kept telling me the system says it's not active and that the policy number is the same (again, without even looking at the insurance card) I work insurance verifications so at the very least she could've CALLED THE INSURANCE but she did not, which tells me she doesn't know what she's doing. We ended up coming back the next day hoping to have someone different working the front desk. The other lady working ended up being able to pull the insurance benefits.... The "doctor" spent 3 minutes with me and diagnosed my illness and gave me 4 prescriptions. She wouldn't really answer my questions as she was busy and didn't ask many either so her diagnosis was based on a guess at best. The fee to be not even thoroughly examined was a tad ridiculous. But this is not the worst part. They prescribed a weak antibiotic that did not take care of my infection. To then get an adequate antibiotic they require a new visit with new huge co-pay. But I am not even really seen by a doctor, they just ask oh you still have it, here is your prescription. I asked why they couldn't just do that over the phone and I am told they require the additional visit so they can charge me again. If they had prescribed the correct antibiotic the first time this would not have been needed. But either they are running a scam knowing that it wouldn't do the job or the doctor couldn't figure out what was needed in her through 3 minute exam with minimal questioned asked. With so many urgent cares, please skip this one. Too bad one star is as low as you can rate them. Take a look at the reviews that are not recommended. This is my second visit to Alliance Urgent Care and I have received very good treatment here by the front office staff, the MA's, and the treating medical providers. They have listened to my issues and showed genuine interest. I have made appts. thru the online system or by phone and that's been key on wait time, and I know that the accuracy of the medical information I give to the physician about my condition is the most valuable thing in assisting them to make the best diagnosis in treating me. It's important to be direct and specific; there are usually a lot of patients to be seen at an urgent care. They have been dead-on accurate with their treatment and I have been able to get back to work and resume a normal life in a short a time possible. Wrost service ever!! Doctors were laughing at me when I was about to throw up because some medication they gave me.

Don't go there, I took my grand daughter in, paid $100 deductible and she was prescribed a sulfur based antibotic instead of penicillin. I was not aware she was allergic to sulfur base medication (no one knew because she had never had it) and she broke out in a rash. I called to have another prescription called in to replace what was given but no one would help because the doctor that treated her was not there. I called again 3 days later and was told I would have to bring her in again explained I can't afford $100 again and just wanted the prescription replaced and they would not help.
