I've suffered for years with spinal pain and just found out my hip is in bad shape too, and added to the spinal pain, has been more than I can handle. Yes..I am overweight! Not something that I am clueless to, but because of that, she had already decided I was not worthy of a decent conversation to help me at all! She sat across the room from me with her laptop. I clearly made her uncomfortable. Eye contact was minimal. Her suggestion to me was to go see pain management doctor! She struck down any hope I had and made me feel disgusting! I had to wait for a note from her to give to my primary doctor. In the notes, it described a detailed examination talking about ROM etc. She NEVER ONCE laid a hand on me or examined me to even really understand my situation. I've worked in medical all my life, and never once made anyone feel unworthy for being fat. Hey..even the Doctor himself had to cruise through the lobby when I was waiting for her note. I suppose so he could get a LOOK at me too. Conclusion is don't go here if you're fat, they don't like helping fat people.

That was a lie. I arrived at 1pm and at 1:30 I was escorted to room #4. I waited until 2pm then I just walked out. I was so pissed off. I will not be returning to this clinic. I take this as a sign from above that I don't need this doctor. I will continue with my chiropractor and my physical therapist.

I don't recommend coming here. I have had nothing but problems with the front office…read more They have a very bad policy that requires you to pay ahead of your appointment. So it's a percentage or whatever they have made it to be. That their healthcare appt system, Phreesia tells you to pay. Then, when you are done with the Dr. you have to pay again, because they want the money in advance before they even bill the insurance. I have dealt with this for two years in a row. I personally go to different Dr's so much, I meet my deductible going to other appointments very fast. Because of that, I end up overpaying for my visits at this place. I want to be clear, this place is the ONLY Dr's. Office that I have this issue with. The Dr here, asked me to try seeing a dermatologist first, before my last resort surgery. June 16th was my last visit at the foot Dr. before I started getting a laser treatment with the dermatologist. Now, because my wart is not gone still, I tried to work on the bill I just got before I came in for my appt tomorrow. I got a bill, randomly 2 days ago in the mail, from the foot dr, that I owe them money. My last conversation with them was that the money I paid in June, caught me up from all my past visits, excluding my last June visit. When I said I would pay the past bills, I then got a charge added on to my account the "pre" payment amount for that specific June visit. The office manager has told me several times that they would stop pre charging me, and wait for the insurance payment to comeback. She said they would note my account. This was after they had to refund me money for a past overpayment I made because of this policy. Btw! I had to ask and wait for that refund for almost a year. I asked for a refund for this prepaid amount, and they agreed, and they did it the next day. This new statement I got, has more fees that were not included in the conversation I had about what to pay them, when I did pay them in June. If you're confused- don't worry I am too. I am not a dumb person. I am highly analytical. This makes me sad. Because I called today and tried to work it out and never have I been mean or rude. They would not call me. They text me. Telling me they have told me several times. (Rudely in text btw) that this is their policy. Well, I have been told several times by the office manager herself that she would not pre charge me. Now she acts like she forgot, but apparently I'm the problem now. She just text me and told me she left a detailed message in my portal (not true) she didn't address the error in a billing code I asked about today, in this "detailed" message, bot only that because of her terrible customer service she told me she cancelled my appt tomorrow too. It's cool Amber. I found a new foot Dr. like I said, I like Dr Urooj. The front office policy, their incompetence, their lack of integrity and commitment to service, and lack of transparency in their billing, makes it miserable to deal with. Save yourself time and energy and headaches, go somewhere else that does not pre-bill and won't cancel your appointments because they don't want to deal with their own problems.
