There are not enough GOOD things I say about Arizona Foot and Ankle!!! I am a patient of Dr. Urooj,…read morea very kind and gentle man. He listened to everything I had to say, answered all of our questions, just an overall great experience. I need to have a piece of hardware removed from my right foot, it was extremely painful, wasn't getting a lot of help or answers until Dr. Urooj. He removed the hardware, I am on the mend now. The staff at Arizona Foot and Ankle are TOP NOTCH!! Amber, Cindy, Christina, everyone there is so caring and so very helpful. Both my husband and I are patients there and we will not go anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Urooj and Dr. Cox. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff. Ron and Mary Nitti

I don't recommend coming here. I have had nothing but problems with the front office…read more They have a very bad policy that requires you to pay ahead of your appointment. So it's a percentage or whatever they have made it to be. That their healthcare appt system, Phreesia tells you to pay. Then, when you are done with the Dr. you have to pay again, because they want the money in advance before they even bill the insurance. I have dealt with this for two years in a row. I personally go to different Dr's so much, I meet my deductible going to other appointments very fast. Because of that, I end up overpaying for my visits at this place. I want to be clear, this place is the ONLY Dr's. Office that I have this issue with. The Dr here, asked me to try seeing a dermatologist first, before my last resort surgery. June 16th was my last visit at the foot Dr. before I started getting a laser treatment with the dermatologist. Now, because my wart is not gone still, I tried to work on the bill I just got before I came in for my appt tomorrow. I got a bill, randomly 2 days ago in the mail, from the foot dr, that I owe them money. My last conversation with them was that the money I paid in June, caught me up from all my past visits, excluding my last June visit. When I said I would pay the past bills, I then got a charge added on to my account the "pre" payment amount for that specific June visit. The office manager has told me several times that they would stop pre charging me, and wait for the insurance payment to comeback. She said they would note my account. This was after they had to refund me money for a past overpayment I made because of this policy. Btw! I had to ask and wait for that refund for almost a year. I asked for a refund for this prepaid amount, and they agreed, and they did it the next day. This new statement I got, has more fees that were not included in the conversation I had about what to pay them, when I did pay them in June. If you're confused- don't worry I am too. I am not a dumb person. I am highly analytical. This makes me sad. Because I called today and tried to work it out and never have I been mean or rude. They would not call me. They text me. Telling me they have told me several times. (Rudely in text btw) that this is their policy. Well, I have been told several times by the office manager herself that she would not pre charge me. Now she acts like she forgot, but apparently I'm the problem now. She just text me and told me she left a detailed message in my portal (not true) she didn't address the error in a billing code I asked about today, in this "detailed" message, bot only that because of her terrible customer service she told me she cancelled my appt tomorrow too. It's cool Amber. I found a new foot Dr. like I said, I like Dr Urooj. The front office policy, their incompetence, their lack of integrity and commitment to service, and lack of transparency in their billing, makes it miserable to deal with. Save yourself time and energy and headaches, go somewhere else that does not pre-bill and won't cancel your appointments because they don't want to deal with their own problems.

My husband left thinking he had payed the full amount he owed, only to receive a bill a whole month after the visit. The total at the clinic was about $300, the bill we received is $420, that what not told to my husband and we have insurance! When contacting the billing department they gave the wrong phone number on the bill. The phone number on the bill is (623)848-0123, this pronated me to call the office directly. After several unanswered calls I called the office where I was informed that that was the incorrect number for the billing department and proceeded to give me the "correct" one, the number I got was (928)501-0310 I called several times to fix this issue with no answer. Even their mail box is full on both phone numbers which means they are not even check their messages, I paid the full amount to my knowledge as the clerk in the front dress explained the day of service, so why am I getting an additional bill? That's bull! And on top of it the actual phone number to contact isn't even the right number! And even the supposed correct phone number no one answers. So I'm sitting here with a bill that was not supposed to be sent to me because I PAID THE FULL AMOUNT THE DAY OF SERVICE!

Horrible office and a dr that lies to you to make more money. Everyone in the office looks like…read morethey hate being there. The dr was yelling at the receptionist and telling her word by word what to email a patient. Literally word by word in front of us waiting patients. The dr was quick to tell me I have the start of heel spurs. Gave me some at home exercises and same advice I found online. He then told me my insurance would cover custom shoe inserts. All I would have to do is pay $150 down and whatever the insurance didn't cover would come out of that. He billed my insurance $800 for the inserts . My insurance didn't cover it. He's now asking for another $148!!! He already made the inserts so I can't get my $150 back. He's a scammer. Don't trust him when he says the insurance will cover it.

I went here to see if I can get a third opinion for my pain issues. I saw the doctor and two assistants during my visit here and they all were unhappy to treat me and it was clear they were trying to get rid of me as soon as possible; always talking fast and cutting me off repeatedly to ask their own questions. Something really great about this place is that they have their own X-ray machine, something the other two podiatrists I've visited did not have. They took a quick X-ray machine and the doctor gave me his opinion that my condition is almost unfixable based off the X-ray and suggested one treatment for it. Although I'm glad for an assessment, I have to wonder if the assessment was well thought out considering they were trying to get me out of the office as soon as they could.
