They always have what I need and they are prompt to bring it to the vehicle or you can schedule a delivery, which is what I do for big jobs. Although prices have gone way up since the Covid-19 farce, EMD continues to deliver. Fair value Nd great customer service. Their products are excellent and their staff is outstanding. There is no other place I would trust to get my roofing products for my rental properties.

There's doors and fixtures and all other kinds of things you would expect. There may be something that's just what you needed, but I wouldn't expect a good price. The last time I came though I was looking to find some old hardwood for my floors. My floors are incredibly old, so I wanted some older wood to match both the quality and color change of my floors to patch up some bad spots. The guy who helped me didn't know the difference between the different types of woods and what to look for. We spend a long time looking and standing around before someone else freed up to help. They also didn't have anything more than ten or so years old, which is not their fault, just the inventory at the time, though most stuff seems to be only twenty years old or newer. So I wasn't able to get anything that actually did match but it was better than nothing. The price also isn't great. I had to make two trips for two different types, and for my second batch, the price got higher because it was a different kind of wood. Okay fine, that makes sense, but it's not documented anywhere so I just have to believe them, and I didn't get why it cost just as much as new wood. I know there's something about retrieving and processing when it comes to actually "reclaimed" wood, but I just couldn't see it with this. I probably won't be back unless I get desperate for something old again.

We were originally going to go to Menards as they tend to have better quality lumber than Home Depot, but I'm glad we found Durst instead. Durst has high quality lumber for comparable prices, and they deliver for a VERY reasonable fee. The guys who work in the lumber area are extremely knowledgeable and were able to give us good advice for one of our projects. Excellent service. While it's no thrift store, if you're ever in a pinch for a two ton hydraulic lift, 20 gauge copper wire and a can of wd- 40 this is your place.
