From the very moment we walked into the showroom until the last detail was completed we had a fantastic experience. After visiting several other places, not one of them suggested the design and layout that our designer Rob Feinberg at Allied did. They completely transformed the flow of our entire house by adding a large central island as a gathering place, work space and storage area. They suggested wall ovens to save space as well as adding a bar to use for mixing drinks and serving adjacent to the island. It is so stylish and we have had so many compliments on the design, material and style we were guided to. They had many choices of cabinets at many different price points, styles and colors, and we were shown and directed to what would look best and provide the greatest value. The cabinets arrived quickly and they had their teams at our house immediately to prep and install all the components. The workers were timely, very organized, efficient and each were long term employees so we felt very comfortable through the entire process. They left the house spotless each day, and took great care in both the demolition of our old kitchen and bar, as well as assuring everything was perfect down to the last detail on the new one. I really had no idea of the extent of what would be needed and felt that using a company with 40 years of experience was especially important. We are so glad we did. We felt very confident every step of the way, and were thrilled with the constant communication from both Bob the Project Manager and Bill Feinberg, the owner and updates throughout the whole project from conception to completion. I needed to totally gut a guest bathroom and replace a shower that leaked. I discussed the project with fear and trepidation with several general contractors. You know how Florida can be. They take your money and disappear. One guy wouldn't put anything in writing. He didn't even have a business card. Another "company" gave me a low quote but didn't want to get building permits. He asked me to be vague about the project with my condo management. All red flags. A neighbor suggested Allied. They did great work for him and kept the mess to a minimum by protecting his carpet and hardwood floors. I met with Lewis, a designer at Allied and we discussed options for my bathroom. I had a strict budget and I found Lewis willing to work within it. He came up with great ideas. Allied does things the right way. Designer drawings are done. An architect creates blueprints that breeze through the city permitting process. In a few weeks the project began. Trevor did a wonderful job installing a Schluter Shower System, a product that guarantees no leaks for life! Mark and Angelo were fantastic at setting the fixtures and rough carpentry and keeping dust to a minimum. Adam was my project manager who was available by cell if I had ANY concerns. Chris and Liz were awesome at helping me select tiles and finishes. Everybody was helpful and professional!! I never enjoyed a construction project so much. I found Allied to be top notch. Allied kitchen and bath provided very good design help, excellent quality materials (at a cost), and very good project management. I am largely happy with the fiished results, BUT for a couple of glitches.... First: The designer forced me to change the size of my refrigerator from our original, agreed-to plan at the 11th hour--no reason given. The fridge now sticks out a bit past the counter depth. I had hoped to give her feedback once the work was completed, but she never returned my call. Second, the workers were left unsupervised in my home, as the project manager had other projects going on. They were largely trustworthy, but not perfect humans. When a disposal of materials issue was raised (i.e., grout down my toilets; unflushed toilets), the manager told the worker that we had complained rather than simply instructing them about what To Do. The worker then did a couple of things vindictively, e.g., a small $40 item missing from the home. We repurchased the item, but oddly it went missing a second time. The project manager denied all responsibility. The owner not only denied, but was nasty, rude, and exceedingly unkind via email. I was hoping to help--e.g., let the manager know not to inform workers that owners complained, but rather tell what they should be doing. A rookie mistake on his part I think, but none of the rudeness was ever apologized for. Overall, I recommend Allied, but just don't have any issues. read more

Faucet they supplied lost its finish (chrome) in 1 year. They supplied a new one, but sent a replacement that was a 3 hole so it did not fit my 1 hole vanity. I donated it to Goodwill like most of the cabinets I purchased from Allied that have finish issues. Avoid this company ! read more

I had my appointment today at noon with Tracy. What I wanted was a little too expensive so I made my alterations and looked at other tile for my new shower..I wasnt able to choose fixtures yet but I will IF i accept the quote. I read another yelpers review and have to agree. There is no low pricing here. My bathroom which is a standard size bathroom 5 feet by 7 1/2 feet starts at $25,000. This is my second quote. No less only more depending on what fixtures and tile etc that I choose. Although I felt a little dismissed when tracy left me in a tile room the woman working (I think her name was chris) at least she helped me choose a wall tile that matched my wallpaper I brought with me. BUT when she saw a dachshund in the showroom she LEFT me. I replied, "I am sure the dachshund is going to spend a lot of money." Those were the only two hiccups I encountered. The showroom is beautiful with many options of fixtures, lighting, tile and extras. Anything and everything you can imagine can be found here at Allied. I even sat on a toilet that had a heated seat. If you can dream it, you can have it at Allied (for a price). I agree with owner Bill who is right, the permits for the electrical and plumbing and sheet rock and dry wall does cost a lot. They are also backed up until mid march to even start my job. I am glad I am not in a hurry. Haste makes waste! So I can wait. One last hiccup was there was a woman with an infant in a stroller that owner Bill asked her if she went upstairs and looked at the toilets and fixtures. I WASNT asked that. So bill escorted me personally upstairs listened to what I wanted showed me some faucets and shower heads and toilets and some great vanity mirrors. I am a buyer not a looker, not a person without money to purchase whatever I want. My father made sure I could and I will. I am just not one to be dismissed especially when this job is so important to me and so expensive. I am not a penny pincher and its not like I would be redoing the bathroom once it is totally gutted and remodeled. I felt that being told that the permits cost a lot of money was a stretch of the truth when I know they are only a few hundred dollars for permits. Its not like I havent done my homework and it wasnt like I was not ready to give them a deposit today. Thats IS NOT HOW Allied works. I was asked again for the second time to take photos of my bathroom and send them to owner Bill so he can give me a firm price of $25,000 and above . THEN I am allowed to choose the fixtures and tile to match the price he will be quoting. I guess thats how it works. This is my first bathroom remodel. I will update when I get my price quote and IF i decide to accept it and let Allied remodel my guest bathroom. I enjoyed the hour i spent looking at everything and trying to envision my new guest bathroom. It was nice to see all that Allied had to offer. read more

Way, way, way over priced. $8,000 for a bathroom vanity! Then when we walked out we walked out we were chased to our vehicle where the sales person said they could do it for $6500. Maybe start with that price next time and don't chase people to their car because you're so desperate for a sale. Either way, we found just about the same looking cabinet with the same features for less than a quarter of the price online. Already arrived and looks great. Basically, they work projects $30-40k or more, if it's a small project(maybe under $20k?) they're not even interested in quoting or even getting into it. After years of pondering on remodeling our home we were highly referred by Robin Feinberg (no relationship to the owners) that the place for us was Allied Kitchen & Bath. Robin is Director of First Impressions at Allied Kitchen & Bath. A perfect title for Robin, she will greet you with a big smile and make you feel comfortable every time you walk in the door whether it is for a knob, a faucet or a remodel. We were paired up with Designer Lewis Reif. Our 1st meeting was wonderful. Lewis explained what a remodel would consist of, he asked us many many question to get a feel of who we are and what our needs were. We then toured the showroom. It is full of everything you could imagine for a bathroom and kitchen. There also is a room filled with tiles to choose from. While touring the showroom, Bill Feinberg, President of Allied Kitchen & Bath came over to us, he introduced himself saying how happy he was to meet us. He asked if we had any questions or needs and said they are All there for us. After a few meetings at our home and at Allied's showroom, our plans were ready, it was time to start. We then met our Project Manager Bob Rivera. We had a start date! Our remodel consisted of new floors throughout the house, a new kitchen and 3 bathrooms. We had to move out. They prepped our home, carefully covering everything we could not move out. Demolition was amazing, as they tore things down, quickly they cleaned up. Every day before leaving, the house was clean! Bob's crew who I called the A-Team was fantastic. We were told their crews would consist of the same workers. That just about every workday we would have work done in our house. And Yes, they did. Bob put our actual plans on the walls of the rooms they were working in so we were able to see what each room was to look like and the workers as well could work from that. Every Friday I received an emailed report from Denyse summing up what was worked on that week and what would/should be worked on the following week. Every morning I would stop in and I was greeted by whomever was working with smiles. Most of the time that was Memo. Bob and Memo constantly asked if I had questions or asked me questions makng sure we were all ok. IF Bob was not at my house and I had a question I would text him, almost immediately he would reply! The communication was great! And Bob and Memo suggested things that we would never have thought of. As if our home was theirs. It was so exciting watching the house come together. Some days we had several groups working, that was amazing. We'd have the tile layers working, Miguel or Pablo, they were so patient and perfectionists! And in another room maybe the electricians or plumbers. Lewis would pop in from time to time to check on the progress and see his vision come to life. Every person working on our home was friendly and very personable. Every person we met in Allied was friendly and personable. It was such a pleasure working with Allied's staff. I actually miss some of them. Our home was done ON TIME! It is so beautiful! More so that we dreamed of. Well here I am one year later and thousands spent correcting Allied's mess. Poor planning ordering jacuzzi , had to make a large exhaust vent to my LIVING ROOM ! Now unable to get faulty valve replaced and must remove/destroy solid glass decking around tub, thousands more spent and might as well replace the matching solid glass vanity installed BACKWARDS ! Sinks BACKWARDS, Hardware to accomodate cost thousands more to custom cast ! READ the 77 poor reviews Bill the owner is a nasty man. Never in 43 years in S. Fla. has anyone spoken to me as rude as this man,. He is one big bully and tries to bluff his way to cover shoddy work. The poor work will show up with time 5 star people. read more

A late but necessary review. I was fooled by the material display at their store. What I wasn't expecting was a rude & insulting designer, Andy. A total waste of my time. I even canceled a trip to have this guy come to my place for consultation. After making two visits to their store, Andy wanted to check my place for kitchen & bath renovation. He was totally unprofessional. After entering my unit he had the attitude of not listening to my needs. And simply yelling at me. As an example, when I asked him to add more light in the kitchen, his angry response that he is the designer was unacceptable. On his way out he wrapped his face mask on my outside door knob. Obviously, I didn't do business with this outfit. I have found a contractor that has good references, willing to listen to my needs , & work like a professional. read more

My home was built in the 1950s and had a bathroom that was never remodeled. I wanted it to be completely gutted and redone and I knew it would be a major undertaking. Several neighbors recommended Allied Kitchen & Bath so I went to visit their showroom. I met with Lewis Reif and he drew up preliminary plans for a brand new bathroom. These guys are not cheap but that was ok with me. I know from past experience that when it comes to construction it's best not too look for bargains. Too many things can go wrong when dealing with the wrong people. It can end up costing even more money to have it redone properly not to even mention all the aggravation. But the folks at Allied are ALL as professional as can be! The workers hung plastic with zippers all around the work area. To my surprise, not a single speck of dust got into the rest of the house. The designer and project manager always kept me informed as to what would be happening each day. I also received emails from their office letting me know what was on the agenda for the coming week. Allied Kitchen & Bath did our kitchen and dining room remodel. We are very happy with their work and would highly recommend Allied. From start to finish, Allied was professional, accountable, and the finished product is beautiful with high quality. From the beginning of the process, they guide you through each step in their well appointed show room with a large variety of options for cabinets, hardware, tile and other finishes. We worked with Andy Fishman as our designer and he listened to our needs, visited our home several times throughout the design and construction process and truly developed a design to meet our goals and budget. Allied obtains the permits and facilitates the inspections. Once the construction phase began, they assigned a project manager (Bob) who oversaw the trades and was available at all times via text and phone to answer any questions or address any concerns we had. Our home is a 1920's 'historic' home in which required extra attention to some details and Allied did a wonderful job in bringing it into the 21st century while respecting the original architectural details. We ran into some hiccups with water damage to our dining room floor which, to no fault of Allied's...the water damage occurred before our renovation. Allied helped us through the process and patiently waited for the floor to be finished so that the kitchen renovation could progress. Overall, we are very happy with our new kitchen and dining room. No renovation process is pain free, but you are in good hands with Allied. I'd highly recommend them and use them for other jobs in the future. read more

Delivered something that was completely different from what we ordered and then was completely rude when I attempted to discuss the situation with them. We worked with Kara and Bill during our purchase of two vanities and sinks. We were very clear about our Must-haves- drawers hidden within drawers, along with compartments in the drawers for organization and areas for cords. We also wanted the sink pipes to be accommodated in the drawers so we would not lose storage space. After both Kara and Bill showed us dozens of vanities that met our needs, we finally made our selection. I noticed the item number was slightly different on our order sheet and IMMEDIATELY brought this to their attention- inquiring about the storage and size of the drawers. Kara promised it was the same item that we selected- a white one drawer exterior that opened to reveal several shelves and two hidden drawers. She claimed the difference in item number was related to the color choice we selected and the finish code. Seemed plausible enough so I let it go and completed the order. Fast forward a month when our order finally arrived at the house. Our installer contacted me before installation saying he was missing the pieces of the drawer. I rushed over, examined the unit with him, only to discover there were no inside compartments/drawers/shelves as we had seen in the model we ordered. I had been through construction enough at this point to know that sometimes pieces were missing and the wrong order is delivered so I wasn't worried at the time. I should have been. I called Kara to discuss. She put me on hold then disappeared. I called Bill. I explained that these were not the vanities we ordered and forwarded him the images of the units we had ordered. He immediately got defensive and accused me of lying. He continued to curse me out before hanging up on me. I was stunned. I had used no fowl language, I was not accusatory at all. I went in to talk to Kara the next day. She refused to pull out the magazine where I could show her the photo to compare to the ones I sent her. I pulled out my phone and showed her the ones I took of the item we ordered vs the one that arrived. She accused me of photoshopping the images and of taking the photos at another store. Then she claimed we didn't purchase the vanities at the store. I showed her my bill of purchase at which point she ran into the back to hide. I waited for a while, but she never came out. In fact, ALL of the sales associates seemed to be missing. I asked the front desk person to please let them know I was waiting. She couldn't get anyone on the phone so went back to look herself... and disappeared. I couldn't believe it. I have never been so shocked at anyone's behavior as I was by the immaturity and inappropriate attitude at Allied. Most stores would simply apologize for the error (regardless of whether it was their error or not), and either offer to replace the item with the correct one OR politely explain why the order could not be corrected. Never would an establishment scream at the customer, or worse yet accuse them of lying or even worse curse at them!! Horrible! I refused to do any further business with Allied, even though we needed so many more items(we were in the process of building out a house completely and needed everything). I don't know how this company is still in business. NEVER again! BE CAREFUL!! *** In response to the owner's comment below: Bill- you have me confused with someone else- I did NOT order a custom piece. I did NOT sign off on drawings. I was NOT attempting to create a new piece. The fact is- I ordered something that was PRE-MADE and ON DISPLAY. The item had three compartments with shelves/drawers within. The items that arrived were completely different- no compartments, no internal drawers/shelves. You obviously have me confused with someone else entirely. Also- you should note that my review is also based on our dealings with you when the incorrect items arrived- the extremely poor customer service and language. read more

I can't begin to express how relieved and happy we are right now, after finishing the job, that we decided to go with Allied. The peace of mind that they provided for us was priceless. When little glitches that inevitably occur, such as a nonworking appliance, and an unfair charge by the flooring subcontractor, and other similar little things that cannot be predicted or prevented occurred, our representative at Allied stepped in and made sure that we were treated fairly and that everything was corrected and replaced in a manner consistent with our highest expectations. If we had attempted to hire each of the subcontractors on our own we would've been powerless and it probably would've ended up being much more expensive...and aggravating. Anytime we had a question, our representative at Allied immediately responded with an explanation and action. The overall process was very smooth, very efficient, very organized, and strictly adherent to our agreed-upon budget without any surprises. We absolutely love our new kitchen and floors.
