We made an appointment, which he showed up right on time, and we did a walk through. He asked a lot of questions on how things needed to be done. He made an effort to be clear on what was expected. He wrote up a contract giving the price and timeframe, we signed and he got to work. Four days later he sent me pictures on the progress. The house was all but finished and the yard was clean. She started to question areas that were not addressed felt frightened by the owner. Reluctently she paid for services that were never done, damages directly caused by this company and having to call Coit Carpet Cleaning to remove the excessive moisture left by Langston. Lesson learned, elderly people need assistance from family member when having services preformed. I strongly feel Langston Cleaning Service took advantage of my aunt. They later billed us for $6100 without giving us any reason why it was more. On top of that, the quality of work was awful. Their main job is to get rid of the water from the basement but there was still standing water after they left the first day so I had to mop up several puddles myself. They also left 2 sopping wet rugs in the basement. One of the 2 dehumidifiers we discovered wasn't even working at the end of day 2. They charged us for floor coverings to "protect our floor" but didn't cover the carpet landing on our stairs or properly cover the hardwood floors in our kitchen. We've been trying to resolve this issue with them for weeks but no luck. When asked to speak with the owner they say "he's a busy business man, he doesn't have time to call you".
