Unfortunately, my experience with this JAC cleaning company was extremely disappointing and…read moreultimately very costly. The cleaners arrived late and did not come prepared with several basic cleaning supplies needed to complete the deep clean. They did not have paper towels, glass cleaner, Murphy Oil Soap, or the appropriate stove-cleaning products. Because I was already going to the store, I offered to purchase the missing supplies so they could continue working. Throughout the cleaning, there were multiple smoke breaks and a lunch break, and toward the end, the cleaners appeared rushed. They told me they needed to leave for another cleaning job and were concerned that their boss would fire them if they were late. More importantly, while cleaning my stove, one of the cleaners removed the numbers/markings from the controls. She called me afterward and acknowledged what had happened. The damage resulted in me having to replace the stove at a cost of approximately $640. There were also several areas that were not completed as expected for the deep cleaning. The inside of light fixtures, closets, refrigerator, top of the refrigerator, washer,dryer and other areas were left uncleaned. I was also told they would not be able to mop one of the rooms in the basement. Before booking, I specifically discussed cleaning the window sills with Jade and was told they were included in the deep clean. When the cleaners were rushing out ,they told me they would not clean them. The boss told them "no" they've been there long enough. They need to leave. Jade later acknowledged that there had been a misunderstanding regarding what was included. She took full responsibility for it indicating that sometimes her understanding about things are different and she does remember that conversation. she also indicated that she will change her wording so that it's not confusing customers The owner kept insisting that Jade would've never said that to me again to make me be wrong when I was 100% right. Veve. Because the property was scheduled to be rented the following day, I ultimately had to hire another cleaner to return the next day and complete the job. I contacted both Jade and the owner in an effort to resolve the situation privately. Unfortunately, my conversation with the owner was extremely unprofessional. Rather than focusing on resolving the damage and incomplete cleaning, the conversation became confrontational, and I was told that because he did not like the way I was speaking to him, he would not do anything for me. I gave the company an opportunity to address the damaged stove and the incomplete deep clean, but the owner has declined to reimburse me for the stove or provide any refund for the portions of the cleaning that were not completed. He actually said that I have to be nuts to think that he was gonna pay for the stove. I understand that misunderstandings can happen, and I would have preferred to resolve this directly with the company. However, having to purchase cleaning supplies myself, hire another cleaner the following day, and replace a stove damaged during the cleaning made this a very disappointing and expensive experience. I would not use this company. Please read prior reviews on the lowest scale. All the stories are starting to sound very similar. Overall, the cleaners did have a nice personality and Jade was phenomenal to work with at the end of the day. The owner was very difficult and only seen it his way.

Also have 2 dogs and a cat that I had taken outside so not to be in the way either. 3 women showed up, got to work right away. Whomever did the master bathroom did an exceptional job. The rest of the house left a lot to be desired. The fridge shelves were done but not the door shelves. The oven top still had a bunch of stuff all over it that was able to be wiped up with a paper towel by myself. Inside the oven wasn't even touched. And this is after you tell the client that they have to spray oven cleaner for your workers. The second bathroom still had dust over the light fixture. "Remove build up" as listed on the website wasn't removed at all. Toilet wasn't even touched. Windows are double hung so they are very easy to pop open and take care of, but they weren't even touched. Same with the tracks of the windows and the tracks of the sliding doors. The bar in the lower level is still sticky like it wasn't even done. The center area of the floor was good but it was like they just pushed the dust and dirt to the corner. The vents are still dusty. The cabinets weren't done. I asked for a move in special, and was told that I had to add on "inside the fridge," "inside the cabinets," and "inside the oven" when I was called about them having to cancel our Friday appointment and move it to Wednesday. After reviewing the website, it turns out all those thing I was told to add on were actually part of the move in special. It took them 3 hours to not complete the job. We waited to move everything in to our new home just so it would be easier cleaning for them. This whole order cost me $451.

I had explained that the stove really needed attention because it was filthy from the previous owner. We then had to change the appointment time we scheduled, and Desha seemed to understand and was accommodating. We appreciated that. Additionally, when she did the work, the house looked great! She definitely cleaned it well. So well, that we even gave her extra money as a thank you for such a great job and for us changing the appointment time. Fast forward a few weeks, we wanted to use her services for another house. This house is the same size with same number of bedrooms and bathrooms. This time, it's $135 but she wouldn't be cleaning the stove because we said we were planning on replace that. I was confused. Wait, last time it was $135 with the stove and this time it's excluding an appliance? I told her this doesn't make sense and showed her the quote from yelp from before. She said that I had told her the refrigerator didn't really need to be cleaned so she cut her price last time. My yelp message clearly does not show that conversation. Additionally, she said she saw the refrigerator wasn't dirty, and so she lowered her price on that house. Problem is, this isn't true because she didn't see the refrigerator in advance before she sent us the quote. After sending her the message attached, she then proceeded to call and literally yell at us for being "confused!" Desha told us we're lucky because normally she charges $190 overall and extra fees for each appliance.... Well, after listening to her go off on us for long enough, I tried to calmly explain my point. She yelled at me again saying, "My price is my price and I'm not going to go back and forth with you!" As she continued to shout at me, I causally said thank you for her previous work, as she continued to talk over me, and ended our call. I am just shocked she thinks a repeated customer (who would have brought her house after house as part of a business) would be the person she should try and manipulate. Sad because her service wasn't bad at all, her attitude is and her random pricing is. I've attached photos so everyone can see how nice we were and how out of line she is. I don't recommend people use her services until she can establish a price menu and change her attitude towards her customers. April 26th 7:15pm: Desha responded to our review with some pretty baseless statements. First, the refrigerator was not discussed over the phone. Ever. The first time I ever spoke with Desha on the phone was Sunday April 7th (same date we originally scheduled her services). However, her quote is clearly from March 19th (see the photo). Secondly, she's not charging the same price when she excludes appliances she originally agreed to clean for that price just a few weeks prior. That's called raising your prices... which, for or the record, is fine but not when you pretend you didn't raise them and you gave me a phantom discount on the previous service. That leads me to Thirdly, the idea we ever raised our voices is laughable. We answered with "Hello" and she started in on us immediately. Not once was I allowed to say a word as she continued to yell at me over the phone about how she isn't going to go back and forth with me. Yet, if she would have actually listened, I probably could have just understood her point of view. Clearly her anger got the best of her. Too bad for her. I'm not out to destroy any businesses since I run one. Shortly after posting this review due to her irate behavior, she sent us the passive aggressive text messages (now attached via photos): "Thanks for the great review!" And "Find something else to do with your time please!" Well this is a good use of my time Desha. To make sure you do a better job with communication, not lie about me raising my voice, and so you don't lose out on more customers.

After they clean, my apartment feels like a totally refreshed space! They are attentive to any special concerns or requests. For example, my shower curtain needed replacement, and they took the time to remove the old one and install the new one I had purchased. In addition, they provide their services in a very efficient manner (only about an hour for a very comprehensive cleaning of my apartment). I am so happy to support such an excellent local business, and look forward to supporting this business in the future. Unreliable, unprofessional, and overpriced. I was a customer for 2+ years and the last 6 months…read morewere terrible. If you want to pay $300+ for one hour of cleaning on any day or time that Cardinal chooses each week, then you've found the right business. Here's the last cleaning I had with them: less than 24 hours before my scheduled cleaning they canceled and asked if they could reschedule for the following week (if a customer cancels within 24 hours, they charge $50, but if they do it, no discount for the customers' inconvenience). I asked if they could find another crew and sometime sooner than a full week later. The next morning I saw a crew had been scheduled on my account and my credit card had been charged even though I never heard back so I contacted them and they told me they couldn't find anyone that day and it would be Monday at 1:30/2:00. I said okay. On Monday at 11:40, they tell me they'll be there at 12:10 -- they don't even ask if they can come earlier, they just assume that someone is home and waiting to adjust to their schedule -- I can't imagine they would have accommodated me if I had called and told them they were coming an 1.5 early with 30 mins notice because my schedule had changed. I ask them to wait until 12:30 so we can make sure someone is home. They come, and they're in and out in an hour. 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, kitchen, dining room, family room, living room, 2 sets of stairs....in an hour. The next week they contact me to let me know my previous cleaner has quit, and their prices are going up by 50%. I don't know if there was a change in ownership this year, but this unfortunately wasn't an unusual or out of the ordinary experience with them from the last 6 months.

However, the three items - bathtub, backsplash and cabinets (for which I paid an extra fee) - were poorly cleaned and I had to do them myself later after all. I called and received a refund on the cabinet cleaning fee. In regards to the backsplash, I was told that wasn't something they typically addressed depending on total time spent in the residence. To reiterate, it was an empty space so there really wasn't much else to do in the residence. It really ended up feeling like I paid $150+ for someone to mop and vacuum my floors.
