For the past two weeks I have treated my wife and three kids to a day of solid family fun at Heritage Amusement Park which closes at 5pm. The manager at Heritage assured me during both visits that we were welcome to stay on the ground after hours "as long as we wanted" to top off our fun day with as many rounds of mini golf as we wished. Both visits happened on a Friday. Needless to say we loved the park so much that we took the manager up on that offer both times, playing mini golf until about 6:15/6:30pm each time. It was wonderful, that is, until a security lady named Stacy began her trend of harassing us in the parking lot each time as we left. Her harassments included everything from YELLING at my PREGNANT wife as we left (this time most recently) to calling us LIARS, taking pictures of me and my three children and my van, and threatening to tow our van next time it happens. We have one more weekend planned in which we would LOVE to see if Evergreen can get their act together. I will say, the manager of Evergreen was apologetic and promised to remedy this situation. If Stacy is nice and/or apologizes we will change this to FIVE stars. Friday night about 6:30pm will be the moment of truth.

Their starting pay averages around $12.50/hr, and they will avoid giving you a raise until they absolutely HAVE to. You do not have to carry a gun, as their officers only observe and report. They do have flexible scheduling, which means you could end up working any hours they deem necessary. They will do their best to accommodate your scheduling needs, but your results may vary - depending on your relationship with management. The supervisors they hire tend to be particularly nasty to deal with, so pay particular attention to who you are working with, and don't let your guard down with them. THEY WILL THROW YOU UNDER THE BUS IN A HEARTBEAT! In conclusion, here are many other security companies to choose from in the Denver metro area - most of which have MUCH better pay! My friend had met a woman named Kelsey who gave him her card. He said that she was extremely intelligent so I gave her a call. Since I am currently out of state, I was worried about communication. However, Kelsey quickly got in touch with me. We had an initial video call that lasted about an hour. She was creative with how to get the information I needed. I paid a retainer to get Arrowhead Investigations started on an intensive background investigation and two days of surveillance. One night, I got the scoop on some activities that I thought could be useful for the investigation. I called Kelsey at about 1am and she was filming within the hour. It was reassuring to know that I had someone on my side like that. This investigation took about two weeks. Any time I had a question, Kelsey was easy to reach. At the end of this, I received a substantial report and a DVD with footage and photos. The investigation found a few pieces of unexpected information that gave me an extra edge.
