I was surprised to receive a reply from Get Smart Home less than 5 minutes later asking qualifying questions. Five minutes after replying I received a quote and commitment to install two TVs on Saturday. Vlad and Stasia text me 35 minutes before the installation appointment to alert me they were on the way. They arrived on time and immediately impressed me with their professionalism: they were courteous, well mannered, personable, knowledgeable and fully prepared with the necessary tools, supplies, blankets to lay the TVs on, and booties to cover their shoes. They reviewed the TVs and desired mounting locations, asked questions about my preferences, made recommendations, set expectations, then went to work. They were efficient -- finishing both installations and cleaning up within an hour -- and most importantly, delivered results that again exceeded expectations. I am impressed with the quality of Vlad and Stasia's work and the excellent experience of working with them. The batteries needed changing…read more Despite our best efforts, and even with the ADT rep on the phone, we could not get the unit to reset and stop the shrieking as we chnaged the batteries. Finally out of frustration we asked to have a technician out - cost = $59.95 just for coming out. He gets here today and after checking things out said we could not get the unit to reset because it was defective and needed to be replaced. So ... their defective unit we're still on the hook for $60+. While he was here we asked for the batteries to be replaced in all units so we didn't have to deal with this again. After going through the house he said we did not have ANY smoke alarms upstairs and wanted to charge $200 to place one up there. Walking upstairs I pointed to 3 that are hard wired in.When we called him on this he said yes, they are smoke alarms but not ADT alarms and I'm onlu concerned with ADT so if you're asking me you have NO alarms upstairs. Um, not true, but ok. Less than an hour after he left we had 5 CRITICAL alarms all trigger at exactly the same time. We called him to come back and he said it would be an addition $59.95 and it was probably that we had a radon leak somewhere. After 3 addiotional calls to the customer service number we have been denied our requests to speak to a supervisor. They agreed to send someone back out but informed us it may be the same man despite our saying we never wanted him back in our home again. At this point I just want to disconnect them and move on from his horrible experience. As soon as we can get a new life line medical alert system set up for SO we will be dumping them.

I want to give Joel Burrell, a neighborhood local ADT authorized dealer, a great recommendation. I came across him in a security post on Nextdoor app. I am always weary of letting random vendor/sales people into my home or when sales people solicit us for business...it's really uncomfortable as you don't know who to trust. With Joel, he came over promptly and gave us a great package on camera and alarm system upgrade. They have an ADT Pulse app now and you can see cameras and sensors right on your phone at anytime. You can check if you left your garage doors open. We set up the cameras to record on movement so it has been nice to review footage of what goes on around our house during day and night. (We see that the newspapers get dropped off around 3:30am every morning!) Joel was prompt in his communication and follow through was very thorough and quick. The cameras and systems were installed timely and professionally and we are super happy with the service. The whole process was seamless and we feel very safe knowing that we have ADT cameras and alarm system in place. We have tripped the sensors a few times accidentally , and are notified immediately by text, email, and a phone call shortly after. Very happy with ADT and Joel Burrell. ADT provides a great product and service, and Joel is excellent, reliable, and will take great care of you. We recently contracted Joel to discuss having an alarm installed in our new house. He was prompt for his appointment, and explained specifically what he could provide and what he could not. He walked the home with us and identified where various sensors would go, and explained how they worked. We also asked him lots of questions about "smart home" integration, cameras, and all of the newest bells and whistles. He explained them all, gave a quote based on where we landed, and then - best of all - didn't pressure us into a decision immediately. After sleeping on it, and thinking about how we were using the house, we realized we had a lot more questions and use cases. Joel walked us through all of those through both email and phone calls. We adjusted what we wanted in the system, got an updated quote, and moved forward with the installation. We really appreciated that Joel took the time to answer all of our concerns, and that he was very direct and straight-forward in his approach. All the equipment was covered and on top of that he covered my one time installation fee of $99 bucks which was really awesome of him! The convenience of working with him was like a one stop shop. At 10:50AM we still hadn't heard from him. We called twice and obviously woke him up on the second call. He said he wrote the time down wrong...really? You scheduled us! Lie #1. He said he was on his way, then called about 15 minutes later because he didn't have the address written down properly. I thought you were on your way? Lie #2. He said he had us down for noon, but didn't even make THAT time. Lie #3. If you're going to be late, flat out lie and waste our morning, maybe you need to think about getting your act together. Try the truth instead of insulting people's intelligence with lies and excuses. Big fail on your part, Anthony!

We recently needed to upgrade our home's WiFi coverage to get us the bandwidth necessary for…read moremultiple home security cameras. Anthony came out to my home, free of charge, to assess our situation and give us a quote. The proposed solution and the quote were both great. What's more, Anthony was super patient with me as I asked lots of neurotic follow-up questions by email. On the day of the project (a Sunday, no less!), he came with a partner, calling about 45 minutes ahead to let us know his ETA. He and his partner were both courteous and respectful, and they both wore masks without me having to ask (this work took place in the age of COVID-19). Partway through the project, I threw in some last minute thoughts about a new TV antenna and Anthony graciously agreed to do that work the same day, for a very fair price. At the end of the project we realized that part of the WiFi system did not quite meet my initial expectations for specifications. Not a deal breaker, but also not what we were expecting. Anthony acknowledged the discrepancy and provided a fair discount to make up for it. The job he did was completed safely, and they made it look very clean in the end. When you're poking holes in walls, you always want to make sure it looks professional when all is said and done. Anthony nailed it. I'm very happy with the service I received and I would work with Digital Concepts again in the future, should such needs arise.
