They did fantastic on all parts and I would highly recommend them. I'm a contractor myself and have seen quite a bit. These guys are a very professional and talented group. Thanks Puma and team for the great work. I'll be calling you on the next one.

They did not add an expansion joint between the coping stones and the pool deck for expanding and shrinking (who knew concrete did this, I didn't). We have talked to two pool companies and this is supposedly common practice. Last winter it wasn't cold enough for the concrete to expand and contract as much as it did this year. In January the concrete expanded & pulled back away from the coping stones causing them to rise like in the picture. They broke, separated from the tile & even caused such a shift in the skimmer that it cracked. The Los Pumas owner has refused to return our phone calls or come see the damage. They also poured and entire new driveway for us 3 years ago-we have been loyal customers, recommending them to a lot of people in our neighborhood. However, they are not going to show up if you have a problem, they do not stand behind their work and have not been willing to work with us to resolve the issue they caused. The true character of a person or company is revealed when a problem arises. Los Pumas is of low character and will not help if there is an issue. Stay away from them...there are other repairable companies out there!

Please know that your experience will be different from ours. But, our experience with AFS (…read moredivision of Groundworks ), was excellent. I personally want to shout out to Evan and his crew, Aldo and Jorge, for showing up prepared and ready to work. We had a terrible problem within our crawl space, due to the moisture and humidity, and it had degraded our floor to the point of no return. We couldn't even use our front room ( den area ), because the floor had sunk so low that no weight could be placed on it. One joist had actually fallen onto the ground. It was a nightmare! When we contacted Groundworks, they sent out Evan, Aldo and Jorge from AFS, and I'm so glad they did, because I have never seen 3 guys work as hard as they did to repair the damage. Each man had a specific job to do and they did it without stopping. Evan talked us through what was being done to put us at ease, and in 3 days, the guys had our old floor torn out, new floor installed, and our crawl space encapsulated. And 2 of the days it rained ( more moisture ). Is it expensive? Yes, yes it is, but all of us know this going in to a job of this nature. Wood and moisture do not make a good combination, and the longer the problem exists, the more damage your floor will sustain. Fortunately, only one room of our house needed the repair, and with the encapsulation, the rest of the house will be spared. What ever you do, encapsulate your crawl space, especially if you live in the humid south! Again, thank you Evan! Thank you Aldo! Thank you Jorge! You did an amazing job for us and we are so grateful.
