The mosque is clean and spacious, and a great place to spiritually unwind. During Ramadan, they serve dates and water everyday, and after Maghrib, there is a full community Iftari as well. They have three Friday prayers: 12.10, 1.10, and 2.10, though the timings go back an hour during the daylight savings months. My only complaint is that I wish they would install more fans/ventilation in the basement and upper floors, because it gets very hot there during Jumah with all the people present.

This particular Mosque towers over The Danforth, one of my favourite parts of Toronto, where all the Greek restaurants are, along with a lot of other ethnic stuff. I haven't been inside, but I've toured the grounds from the outside, and it's utterly beautiful. I find Mosques to be spectacular to look at, and much like Cathedrals and Churches, I think they add a lot to the aesthetics and feel of a place. In the West, they are a reminder of how multicultural and multi-faceted the nations are. If only we could live up to those values in our laws and our treatment of everyone.

The thing I love is that parking is not a problem here, there plenty of parking space on their lot, street and a massive lot (where we are allow to park) across the mosque. The management manages the mosque well and announcements are done timing and quick. The Friday Imans are changed every week, which I like as you get much more variety of knowledge and information. They facilitate all the prayers and involve the community in lot of fun projects, gatherings and fundraisings. This location has plenty of space to pray. They also do Family Events at ICC (Islamic Centre of Canada) and it's usually on the last Saturday evening of the month each month. I have also attended a Funeral in ISNA and they provided full facilities for funeral services as well, which includes: 1.Transportation of the Deceased (from the place of death to the ISNA Masjid and from the Masjid to the cemetary) 2. GHUSUL (Washing / Bathing body), shrouding and providing the casket 3. Offering Salat-Janaza (Funeral Prayer) I have also attended Weddings (Nikah) ceremonies in ISNA, so they do provided that as well. The location has a high school as well and they provide plenty of other services. There is plenty of parking at the location but at Eid prayers it still gets full to the max parking wise but there is still a lot of prayer room inside.

I…read moretend to be hesitant to enter wudu areas because of the lakes and etc created in there, but it was pleasant and the carpet is very clean and the rooms smell good with their desks well organized. The lessons are good and meaningful and I really do feel that it's a 10/10. The prayer area isn't so nice looking but it'll do the job. Not everywhere can be East Plano Islamic Center lol.
